Joanna Lumley and Tulisa confirmed for Cheltenham Literature Festival 2025
In October, The Times and The Sunday Times Cheltenham Literature Festival will host more than 400 events in a programme that includes conversations with chat show host Graham Norton, activist and TV star Katie Piper, actor Sir Michael Palin, and BBC director-general Tim Davie.
At the 10-day event, Absolutely Fabulous actress Dame Joanna, 79, will be interviewed by broadcaster Emma Freud about her forthcoming book, My Book Of Treasures: A Collection Of Favourite Writings, which is comprised of her favourite writings, thoughts and quotes, as written in her private notebooks.
The veteran TV star, who appears in the latest series of Tim Burton's Netflix show Wednesday, has written a number of books, including 2011's Absolutely: A Memoir, which contains anecdotes from across her personal life and career.
Contostavlos, of N-Dubz fame, will talk about her new book, Judgement, which details the highs and lows of her music career, including her collapsed drugs trial in 2014.
The 37-year-old was arrested on suspicion of supplying class A drugs in 2013, but the charges were later dismissed after prosecution witness, 'Fake Sheikh' journalist Mazher Mahmood, was found guilty of tampering with evidence in the trial.

Following the collapse of the trial Contostavlos said 'I have never dealt drugs and never been involved in taking or dealing cocaine' in a statement where she also accused Mahmood of a 'horrific and disgusting entrapment'.
This year's fiction programme includes talks with Women's Prize for Fiction winner Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie, Atonement author Ian McEwan, children's author Dame Jacqueline Wilson and Kate Mosse, who will discuss the 20th anniversary of her historical fiction novel Labyrinth.
In a talk with screenwriter Edward Docx, novelist Mick Herron will discuss Clown Town, the latest book in his Slough House series, which inspired the TV show Slow Horses, featuring Oscar-winning actor Sir Gary Oldman.
Numerous stars from across the TV and film industry will gather for the festival, including Love Actually creator Richard Curtis, who will interview writer and comedian Ben Elton about his new autobiography and experience creating BBC sitcom Upstart Crow and writing for The Young Ones and Blackadder.
Elsewhere, game show host Richard Osman will discuss the fifth novel in his Thursday Murder Club series, the first of which has been adapted for a film starring Dame Helen Mirren and Pierce Brosnan.
Sharing moments from her new memoir Lush will be Gavin And Stacey star Joanna Page, whose book charts her journey from a small Welsh village to one of Britain's biggest sitcoms.
In a separate event, her co-star Larry Lamb will present his debut novel All Wrapped Up, with his son and TV presenter George Lamb.
Some of the talks will look at and dissect social issues, with Rizzle Kicks star Jordan Stephens questioning if masculinity is in crisis alongside writers Laura Bates and James Bloodworth.
There will also be a live recording of Jane Garvey and Fi Glover's Times Radio show where they will be joined by model Penny Lancaster to discuss her forthcoming memoir, Someone Like Me, where she opens up about navigating fame and life with her husband Sir Rod Stewart.
Among the other events is a talk with food writer Nigel Slater, who shares A Thousand Feasts, a memoir with anecdotes taken from his own notebooks.
Former deputy prime minister Sir Nick Clegg, French chef Raymond Blanc, Olympic gold medallist Sir Bradley Wiggins, wildlife cameraman Hamza Yassin, World Wide Web inventor Sir Tim Berners-Lee and professor of genetics Dr Tim Spector are among the other public figures scheduled to appear.
The Times and Sunday Times Cheltenham Literature Festival will take place from October 10-19.

Wynne Evans makes shock return to BBC months after axing amid Strictly scandal
Former Strictly Come Dancing contestant Wynne Evans appeared on a BBC show over the weekend despite his apparent departure from the corporation earlier this year Former Strictly Come Dancing star Wynne Evans made an unexpected appearance on a BBC show tonight. It comes after the corporation said it had "no plans" to work with him following his exit from the live tour and his radio show. Wynne, 53, however, appeared on an episode of Pointless Celebrities that aired on BBC One earlier tonight. He was paired up with Joanna Page, who was his co-star on Wynne & Joanna: All at Sea, which isn't set to have a second series as the BBC said in June that it has "no plans" to renew it. It comes following his apparent departure from the BBC earlier this year. It had been reported that it had severed ties with the opera singer, known for the Go Compare adverts, and had confirmed that it didn't plan to work with him further. The pre-recorded episode of Pointless Celebrities that aired tonight saw Wynne and Joanna make it to the penultimate round, but they missed out on reaching the final together. The other team, Jane Hill and Ben Boulos, who both work on BBC News, became the finalists instead after winning the round. They had competed against two other pairs earlier in the episode. RuPaul's Drag Race UK winner Danny Beard had been with impressionist Jess Robinson, whilst comedians Esther Manito and Rich Hall had worked together. Prior to the episode airing tonight, Wynne had told fans on Instagram that he would be in it. He wrote beside a photo of himself and Joanna on the set: "Tonight back on [BBC One] for Celebrity Pointless with [Joanna]." Some viewers seemed surprised to see Wynne on the show this evening. One wrote on X: "Wynne Evans? This must have been recorded 10 years ago?" Another said: "Seriously??? Who the hell thought Wynne Evans appearing would be a good idea." A third wrote on the platform though: "Well done [BBC] - Wynne on Pointless - common sense at last." It's not been confirmed when the episode was filmed. One viewer suggested it could mark Wynne's final appearance on the BBC though. They wrote in a post on X earlier tonight: "This could be Wynne Evans's last BBC appearance." The episode's broadcast this weekend comes after the BBC was said to have cut its last remaining ties with Wynne. He had worked with the corporation for years, including hosting his own BBC Radio show for almost a decade. it was announced back in May that the BBC had "no plans" to work with him in the future though. It comes following a series of scandals during his time on Strictly Come Dancing last year and its subsequent tour earlier this year. During the tour, it was reported that he had used the term 'spit roast' to host Janette Manrara at a photocall. Wynne has, however, since insisted that it was instead part of a nickname for fellow contestant Jamie Borthwick and that it "wasn't meant sexually". Wynne subsequently left the tour and his BBC Radio Wales show after the scandal broke back in January. It was said at the time that the decision had been made in agreement with the BBC and to "prioritise" Wynne's wellbeing. It was then announced in May that Wynne would not be returning to his radio show, which he had hosted since 2016. In a statement at the time, a spokesperson for the BBC said: "[Wynne] is not under contract with the BBC. He is not returning to the mid-morning show on BBC Radio Wales, and there are currently no plans to work with him." Whilst Wynne, who has since criticised the BBC, told fans in a statement: "It breaks my heart to say the BBC has decided not to renew my contract, so I won't be returning to my radio show. I'm gutted. That show wasn't just work - it was home. It was us. We laughed, we cried, we sang like nobody was listening. And somehow, through the airwaves, we became a family. Thank you for welcoming me into your homes. Into your hearts." He instead announced that he would host the Wynne Evans Show on other platforms. He's since launched his new weekday radio and later told his followers on social media that he had more than 40,000 listeners for the first episode. More recently, it was reported in June that the BBC had cut its last remaining ties with him. It was confirmed at the time that the corporation had "no plans" for a second series of his travel show Wynne & Joanna: All at Sea, which ran for six episodes between January and February. A source had told the Sun that the decision to not renew it "marks the end" of a relationship between Wynne and the BBC. STRICTLY Come Dancing pro Michelle Tsiakkas has defended her former dance partner Jamie Borthwick - after he was suspended by the BBC over an ableist slur. Michelle, 29, who placed seventh on the BBC dance series with Jamie, 31, last year, revealed how the pair were still 'really close'. 4 She told The Sun on Sunday: 'Whatever you saw on screen of our relationships together is what our relationship is like. 'We're like brother and sister, we're really close. He still actually messages me saying that he misses it. 'I saw him the other day, he remembered all of his routines, he was doing them again. EastEnders' Jack makes a discovery about Oscar as tensions boil over
EastEnders' Jack Branning (Scott Maslen) is on a mission to get to the truth after he witnesses a tense exchange between nephew Oscar Branning (Pierre Moullier) and Howie Danes (Delroy Atkinson) next week. Both Oscar and Howie are currently covering up huge secrets, which look set to be rumbled when local copper Jack starts searching for clues in forthcoming scenes on the BBC soap. Earlier this month, viewers saw Oscar knock Patrick Trueman (Rudolph Walker) unconscious when he broke into No.20 to steal cash to pay off a group of thugs from his time in young offenders, who were threatening his family. Howie later uncovered evidence that proved Oscar was responsible for the robbery and Patrick's attack, but rather than turn the teenager over to the police, he blackmailed him into handing over the cash, which Howie kept for himself. With Patrick now back home, he has been struggling with anxiety over his attack. Riddled with guilt, Oscar has tried to ease his conscience by striking up a friendship with Patrick and helping out Yolande Trueman (Angela Wynter). Next week, Howie is furious when he catches Oscar and Patrick playing dominoes. He's then further angered when Oscar accepts an invite to Patrick's stag do ahead of his wedding to Yolande. Howie later collars the youngster, demanding he stay away from Patrick. However, they are both unaware that Jack has been watching on in the distance. As the day of Patrick and Yolande's stag and hen parties arrives, Jack quizzes Oscar about his confrontation with Howie, but his nephew gives him short shrift.
