10 players to watch during Eagles open training camp practice at Lincoln Financial Field
The Eagles are the biggest show in the NFL, and that was proven when tickets for Sunday's open practice at the 67,594-seat Lincoln Financial Field sold out.
Philadelphia has two joint practice sessions with the Browns on Tuesday and Wednesday, but first up is the fan-held event that'll benefit the Eagles Autism Foundation. It'll be treated like every other training camp practice, meaning video and critical analysis will be restricted to the pre-practice routine and individual drills.
With the massive event set to begin, we're looking at ten players to watch.
QB Jalen Hurts
Lincoln Financial Field is sold out, and while fans love Saquon Barkley, there's no more popular Eagle than the Super Bowl MVP and star quarterback.
RB Saquon Barkley
The reigning NFL Offensive Player of the Year is as big a star as Jalen Hurts, and fans are turning out in droves to see Barkley make cuts and potentially leap buildings.
RB ShunDerrick Powell
The rookie has feet like a ballet dancer, and the Darren Sproles clone will get to put on a show in front of fans after his Week 1 debut.
WR Darius Cooper
An undrafted free agent wide receiver out of FCS, Tarleton State, Cooper has been a training camp standout and dominated the Bengals with six catches on seven targets for 82 yards and a touchdown. Fans will be watching to see if he can crack the Eagles' depth chart.
OL Myles Hinton
The former Michigan offensive tackle is a massive specimen, and the open practice gives Hinton another opportunity to carve out a role as the Eagles' swing tackle.
LB Jihaad Campbell
The first-round pick is one of the biggest stars on the team, and half of New Jersey is expected to make the trip to Lincoln Financial Field to see the hero return.
CB Kelee Ringo
After getting baptized by Ja'Marr Chase during the preseason opener, Ringo will need to show that his swagger is still on 100% and still engaged in the cornerback competition.

Did Dillon Gabriel throw shade at Shedeur Sanders?
Cleveland Browns rookie quarterback Dillon Gabriel gave a very curious quote during his preseason debut on Saturday in Philadelphia against the Eagles. While talking with a sideline reporter, Gabriel said that "there's entertainers and competitors... and my job is to compete." As soon as Gabriel said that, folks wondered if he was throwing shade at fellow rookie quarterback Shedeur Sanders, who has embraced his celebrity status over the years. The most likely answer to this was always no, as Gabriel clearly isn't careless enough to throw his teammate under the bus on live television. Not even a rookie should make that kind of mistake. After the game, Gabriel affirmed the obvious that he wasn't talking about Sanders at all, more so prioritizing his NFL career and role as a quarterback over having a presence in the media. That makes much more sense. However, that explanation and the context around it won't stop folks from thinking Gabriel got in a subtle diss at Sanders. It's not the case, but the internet will likely run with it anyhow. Who has won the Cleveland quarterback battle? K.J. Henry's pick-6 leads Browns to win over Eagles in preseason game with Shedeur Sanders sidelined
PHILADELPHIA (AP) — The Cleveland Browns had to turn to other quarterbacks with rookie Shedeur Sanders injured. The decisive touchdown came on defense instead of from relief QBs. K.J. Henry returned an interception 45 yards for a score in the third quarter to send the Browns to a 22-13 preseason win over the Philadelphia Eagles on Saturday. In a game missing almost all regular-season starters on both sides — Jalen Hurts and Saquon Barkley sat out for the defending Super Bowl champions while Myles Garrett and Jerry Jeudy rested for the Browns — the Eagles got a better look at their draft picks fighting for playing time. Andrew Mukuba returned an interception 75 yards for a score and recovered a fumble, and Jihaad Campbell had a sack, an impressive showing for the Eagles' top two 2025 draft picks. Maybe somewhere actor Matthew McConaughey was impressed. McConaughey, a Longhorns superfan, had a social media post in support of Mukuba when the safety was drafted out of Texas in the second round. Mukuba missed time early in training camp with a shoulder injury and returned only in the last few days to take first-team reps. He was in the right spot to pick off a pass from Dillon Gabriel. Mukuba took it all the way for the 75-yard score and a 7-6 lead. He added a fumble recovery later and broke up a pass in the second half, the kind of plays needed to close the gap in his competition with Sydney Brown for the starting spot. Campbell, a linebacker out of Alabama selected 31st overall, sacked Gabriel on the second play of the game. The Eagles just may have found two more defensive gems to make meaningful contributions in their pursuit of another title. The Eagles and Browns both played it safe with their starters after the two teams held a pair of joint practices earlier in the week. Sanders hurt his oblique in the first practice and did not play Saturday. The Browns started Gabriel, a third-round pick who worked his way back into the lineup after he had been sidelined with an injured hamstring. Gabriel was 13 of 18 passing for 143 yards and the pick-6. Tyler 'Snoop' Huntley played in the second half and was 10 of 13 for 71 yards. Dorian Thompson-Robinson threw a pick-6 to Henry that gave Cleveland a 19-13 lead in the third. Thompson-Robinson was replaced by Kyle McCord, another 2025 draft pick, on the next series. McCord, who is from nearby Mount Laurel, New Jersey, and was raised as an Eagles fan, threw a touchdown pass and threw for 47 yards overall. The Eagles had just 88 total yards.
