Member of the all-party delegation led by Shiv Sena MP Shrikant Shinde, BJP MP Bansuri Swaraj, affirmed the objective of Operation Sindoor and described the "paradigm shift" in India's policy against terror.While speaking to ANI, Swaraj said, "Operation Sindoor was not only a military operation, but a new resolve for justice which India has presented before the world. Even in today's Mann ki Baat episode, Prime Minister Narendra Modi spoke about made-in-India technology and made-in-India weapons."She noted, "There paradigm shift in India's policy regarding terror, where it has been said that terror and talks will not go together, blood and water will not flow together, Trade and terror cannot happen simultaneously"."This is the new example India has set in front of the world on this global war against terrorism. In this regard, the all-party delegation first went UAE and now to various West African countries like, Congo, Liberia and Sierra Leone."Describing the visit to the UAE, BJP MP Swaraj hailed the support received from various quarters of the Emirati society.She said, "UAE has played the role of a solid friend. Along with India, given the message of unequivocal support. It has given complete support and the kind of support which we got there, not only from the leadership but also the Indian diaspora was worth noticing and made the hearts joyous."Swaraj also underlined that the world is understanding the emotion behind the motto of Operation Sindoor. "Operation Sindoor has made it clear that Sindoor is no longer a synonym for 'Shringaar',but also a reflection of bravery and power."Swaraj is a member of the all-party delegation projects India's national consensus and resolute approach to combating terrorism in all its forms and manifestations. It will convey to the world the country's strong message of zero tolerance for terrorism.India had launched Operation Sindoor in response to the Pahalgam terror attack . India launched precision strikes on terror infrastructure in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK). The Indian Armed Forces responded effectively to subsequent Pakistaggression and pounded its airbases.The two countries have reached an understanding to stop military action following a call made by Pakistan's DGMO to his Indian counterpart.

Madhya Pradesh Cabinet Minister Kailash Vijayvargiya has stirred up the hornet's nest yet again. At a recent public event held in Indore, Vijayvargiya said he didn't 'like girls who wear skimpy clothes'. In a speech he made at the event, Vijayvargiya, a senior Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader and Madhya Pradesh's minister for urban development and parliamentary affairs, drew comparisons between Indian and Western culture, saying: 'Here in India, we consider a girl beautiful when she dresses well, wears jewellery, and adorns herself gracefully. In the West, a woman wearing fewer clothes is considered beautiful. I don't agree with that'. Continuing his comparison, he said: 'There's a saying in Western countries that a woman who wears fewer clothes is considered very beautiful, just as a leader who speaks less is considered good. But I don't believe in that. I believe a woman is a form of the goddess. She should wear nice clothes. I don't find women in revealing clothes attractive'. No animal sacrifice in the open: U.P. CM ahead of Bakrid
Uttar Pradesh chief minister Yogi Adityanath on Thursday directed senior officials to ensure that no animal sacrifice takes place in the open during the upcoming Eid-ul-Azha (Bakrid) festival that will be celebrated on Saturday (June 7). He also instructed authorities to ensure that blood is not drained into open sewers and emphasised adopting a zero-tolerance policy against any troublemakers to maintain peace and public order. The CM, who turned 53 on Thursday, issued these directives during a law and order review meeting that he chaired at Gorakhnath temple in Gorakhpur. At the temple, he also offered prayers and paid floral tribute to Mahant Avaidyanath's statue. Besides, Yogi reviewed preparations for the International Yoga Day celebrations scheduled for June 21. He instructed officials to make arrangements for the live telecast of PM Narendra Modi's address and to install large display screens at all major city intersections. He enquired about the pending construction work at Ayush University and directed the divisional commissioner to ensure its completion within a week. The university is scheduled to be inaugurated by the President of India on June 30. Later in the evening, several public representatives and BJP workers gathered on the temple premises to greet the CM on his birthday.
