Roxanne McGee, who played Louise Summers on the Channel 4 soap between 2005 and 2008, shot to fame thanks to her dramatic storylines and fiery on-screen romances.
Her character's shocking exit in a Christmas Day murder twist became one of Hollyoaks' most talked-about moments - and fans still remember it to this day.
Louise was brutally killed off in 2008 in dramatic soap style, as she was strangled to death by her fiancé Warren Fox (Jamie Lomas) on their wedding day, after discovering he had murdered Sean Kennedy (Matthew Jay Lewis).
Her body was later placed in a hotel room and set alight to cover his tracks.

Since his short-lived time on the show he has gone on to bigger things including smash hit comedy Gavin and Stacey.
Rachel Shenton joined the soap as aspiring glamour model Mitzeee Minniver in 2010.

Emma Rigby joined Hollyoaks when she was 15 as Hannah Ahsworth.
Hannah's eating disorder storyline was the first of it's kind on TV while other plots included being caught in a fire, gangland drug dealing and running away.
Since leaving the soap in 2010 Emma has gone on to star in ABCs Once Upon a Time in Wonderland as the Red Queen. Other roles include guest appearances in Death In Paradise, Ripper Street and Fresh Meat

After leaving the soap Ricky cracked America starring in teen drama The 100 and America Gods.
He also appeared in Strictly Come Dancing in 2009.
Warren Brown joined Hollyoaks in 2005 for a year as evil Andy Holt.

The star is open to returning to the Hollyoaks village as she previously told Digital Spy: "Well, Louise might not be dead! That's the exciting twist in the future...
"On screen, you'll feel like she's dead, but depending on me and whether I want to come back for an episode, I might be back.
"I filmed an extra scene showing that I'm still alive.

"There are flashbacks which show me being killed, but then there's a flashback which viewers won't see for a while, that will be used if I choose to come back for the episode.
"I kind of want to come back and finish off Louise's storyline, but at the moment, I might be doing something else.
"It would be really good, though — I'd be going back to kill a few people off."

Maura Higgins has lifted the lid on her time on a new reality show as she admitted she thought it was 'going to be a piece of p**s' compared to her time in the jungle. The Longford native entered the Australian jungle as a late arrival for the 2024 edition of I'm A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here. She finished in seventh place. The Longford beauty's departure is alleged to be due to scheduling conflicts. Elsewhere, Irish fans are bracing themselves for the first season of the Irish version of The Traitors, which will be presented by Derry Girls star Siobhan McSweeney. Kevin McGahern is on hosting duties for the aftershow, Uncloaked. The Irish version kicks off on RTÉ from Sunday, August 31, with contestants competing for €50,000. While the US and UK versions are shot in Scotland, ours stays closer to home, being shot in Slane Castle.

'Delulu' and 'tradwife' among words added to Cambridge Dictionary

Words popularised by Gen Z and Gen Alpha including "skibidi", "delulu", and "tradwife" are among 6,000 new entries to the online edition of the Cambridge Dictionary over the last year, its publisher has said. Cambridge University Press said tradwife, a portmanteau of traditional wife, reflected "a growing, controversial Instagram and TikTok trend that embraces traditional gender roles". The dictionary also took on the challenge of defining skibidi, a word popularised in online memes, as a term which had "different meanings such as cool or bad, or can be used with no real meaning". The gibberish word was spread by a YouTube channel called "Skibidi Toilet" and is associated with the mindless, "brain rot" content found on social media and consumed by Gen Alpha's overwhelmingly digital lifestyle. The dictionary defined delulu, derived from the word delusional, as "believing things that are not real or true, usually because you choose to". As an example, it cited a 2025 speech in parliament where Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese used the phrase "delulu with no solulu". "It's not every day you get to see words like skibidi and delulu make their way into the Cambridge Dictionary," said Colin McIntosh, Lexical Programme manager at the Cambridge Dictionary. "We only add words where we think they'll have staying power. Internet culture is changing the English language and the effect is fascinating to observe and capture in the Dictionary." Other new phrases include "lewk", used to describe a unique fashion look and popularised by RuPaul's Drag Race, and "inspo", short for inspiration. Work from home culture has given rise to "mouse jiggler", referring to a way to pretend to work when you are not. There is also "forever chemical", man-made chemicals that stay in the environment for years and have gained traction as concerns grow about the irreversible impact of climate change on the health of humans and the plant.
