Debenhams slashes £875 watch that's a 'pleasure to wear' down to £116
'If you're considering a luxury timepiece, I couldn't recommend this one more highly'
While we may be experiencing a slight dip in the weather, there are many long summer months ahead that will bring with it a variety of social events that shoppers will want to look their best for. And nothing adds a touch of sophistication like an elegant watch.
While looking through the massive Debenhams sale, we found a watch that comes in four different colourways that the retailer says will "complement your style across various settings". What's even better is that the timepiece has been given a huge 87 per cent discount.
The STÜHRLING Original DualMode 4040 Chronograph Quartz Watch usually retails for £875, but shoppers can now snap it up for only £116.25 - saving customers a whopping £758.75.
Crafted with precision, this DualMode Watch features a high-quality quartz movement that ensures accurate time keeping and a rotating bezel for elapsed time tracking. The accessory also boasts a sophisticated chronograph functionality, which is said to enhance the "allure" of the piece.
Encased in stainless steel, the dial also features luminescent hands and hour markers for clear visibility even in low lighting, as well as a convenient date display at the four o'clock position. This elegant design is finished off with a stainless steel adjustable bracelet that ensures a comfortable and customized fit.
Available in four colourways - white, black, green and blue - there is a watch available to match everyone's style. Described as harmonising "style, function, and versatility", this timepiece is said to be the ideal choice for shoppers who need a watch that can "effortlessly adapt to their ever changing pursuits".

Product Description
Another luxury watch in the Debenhams sale is the STÜHRLING Original Monaco Chronograph with Tachymeter Quartz 44mm Watch. Available in five styles, this watch usually retails for £600 but has been knocked down to only £89.25 after a massive 85 per cent price slash.
Alternatively, Argos have knocked £90 off the Armani Exchange Men's Silver Dial Stainless Steel Watch. Normally retailing for £189.99, shoppers can now snatch it up for £99.99 just in time for Father's Day. With a water resistance of 50m, this watch boasts a classic black and silver design that is both elegant and practical.
Back to the DualMode Watch, it is currently receiving mixed reviews across the Stuhrling and Debenhams websites. Some shoppers have been blown away by the timepiece and have bought it in multiple colours, while other reviewers have grumbled over the service they received.
One delighted shopper boasted: "I have the same watch with a white face that I wear a lot. Wanted a blue face and got it. Now waiting for the black face to become available again and I will buy that as well!! Nice size for my wrist. I have about 10 other watches from this company."
While another wasn't pleased with the overall design, writing: "This watch is terrible, the band you can't work with and there's too much information how to operate it. Make it simpler with a better band."
A further shopper complained about the service they received from Debenhams, saying: "Product never arrived, been talking to customer service constantly for a refund but have yet to have issue resolved a month after ordering."
Fashion deal of the week
Looking for a new wardrobe staple that will be comfortable all summer long?
The Next's Wide Leg Trousers with linen might be up your street. In fact, they are so popular with other shoppers who say they "can't wait" to wear them when the weather heats up.
Available in a selection of colours and prints, there is a pair for everyone. However, prices do range from as low as £22 to £49, but this does depend on the style that shoppers select.
Ideal for balmy days, these trousers have been designed in a looser fit than usual and have been crafted from a soft material with added linen. Boasting the on-trend wide-leg design, it's no wonder shoppers are calling them "very comfortable" to wear.
They also feature an elasticated waistband that won't dig into the stomach, while two practical side pockets finish the design. A hit for summer, these linen trousers can be paired with flip-flops, loose fitting tops and even swimwear when by the beach.
Available in both petite and regular, they can be bought in sizes eight through to 20. Just a few options shoppers can choose from include a basic black, red and chocolate brown, while vibrant patterns of palm trees and florals are also included.
Multiple colours of the Next trousers boast glowing reviews, as one reads: "Lovely flowing cut, very flattering. Can't wait to wear these when the weather is better!"
A second shopper praised: "Great fit. Very flattering. Can be dressed up or down for day or night wear."
Next's Wide Leg Trousers with Linen range from £22 to £49 and can be bought here.
Despite these grumbles, another shopper gave a detailed review, gushing: "This is my third and best watch from Stuhrling . I am absolutely thrilled to provide a 5-star review for this luxury quartz watch. Right out of the box, the first thing that caught my attention was its stunning visual appeal.
"The intricate design exhibits not just an accessory, but a true work of art that perfectly encapsulates elegance and sophistication.
"Moreover, the comfort and fit of the watch are truly commendable. Despite its robust build, it feels incredibly lightweight and snug on the wrist. It's a pleasure to wear throughout the day without any discomfort.
"In conclusion, this watch is an exceptional blend of aesthetic appeal, precise timekeeping, and extraordinary craftsmanship. If you're considering a luxury timepiece, I couldn't recommend this one more highly. A truly excellent investment, and an accessory that adds a dash of refinement to every occasion."

Argos confirms exact time Nintendo Switch 2 is on sale
The Nintendo Switch 2 goes on sale this Thursday, and Argos has confirmed the time it'll put the console up for sale and one retailer that's refreshed its pre-order stock Demand is soaring around Nintendo's newest Switch 2 console, which will be available for UK gamers to buy this coming Thursday, June 5. After a whirlwind of pre-orders, which are notoriously hard to get hold of, the more powerful console will be available for all shoppers to buy very soon. As retailers including Amazon, Currys, and the My Nintendo Store are still offering pre-orders, with fluctuating stock, Argos has unveiled a key update for this week's sale date. Very currently has the best stock levels as the Mario Kart Bundle and Switch 2 console are both available to order today. While Argos' pre-orders are all currently out of stock, it has shared the exact time it'll go on sale. Sending out a note to interested fans, it said 'the Nintendo Switch 2 is almost here' and revealed the time UK shoppers will want to be online for. It said: "All Argos customers can get their hands on the newest evolution of the console from 6am on Thursday 5th June and with Argos's same-day click and collect service, they can have it up and running in no time." For shoppers looking to get their hands on the device, it's worth saving these pages now, to boost chances of getting a Switch 2 as soon as 6am starts on Thursday. For the standard black Switch 2 console - this is the link to follow - to buy at a price of £359.99 on Thursday (the same price as the current out-of-stock pre-order). Those looking for a bundle, will be able to get the Switch 2 with Mario Kart World for £429.99. Currently, pre-order deals are proving hard to come by and going in and out of stock by the hour. Amazon did drop a surprise restock on the model so it could be worth refreshing before Thursday. The best stock as we speak is Very - the Mario Kart World and Switch 2 console is available to order now. It's not the only gaming deal on our radar this week, rivals at Sony have launched a 'Days of Play Sale ' which includes discounts on its newest console - the PS5 Pro. This runs next week on June 11. The Switch 2 will come with a flurry of enhancements compared to the OLED and Lite models. Launching back on April 2, Nintendo said it brings 'new ways to play games'. It has a larger 7.9-inch LCD screen and displays in full HD at 1080p. The console will also have a redesigned dock with 4K and HDR support, and the Joy-Con 2 controllers will offer mouse controls and magnetic attachment. Plus, the Switch 2 will support new features like GameChat, a voice chat and screen sharing service, and DLSS and ray tracing for improved graphics - for those who wondered how it compared to older models. Other features where it differs to other Nintendo Switch models include its shorter battery life and a higher price point, which is worth flagging with shoppers.
