'Masterful' thriller finally completely free to stream after 3 years
A nail-biting thriller is finally landing on a free UK streaming platform.
Starring Uma Thurman, all eight episodes of crime drama Suspicion are being added to ITVX next month.
The show follows five ordinary Brits who must prove their innocence after being accused of kidnapping the son of prominent US media mogul Katherine Newman (Uma Thurman).
Based on the Israeli series False Flag, Suspicion first landed on Apple TV Plus in 2022.
On Google, viewers have hailed the thriller as 'incredibly addictive' and 'outstanding.'
Among them was David Samuel, who wrote: 'Brilliant series. Yes, it's complicated at times, but that's the point, it's meant to be. It's a nice change not to be spoon-fed the plot but actually have to use your brain.'
Echoing their sentiment, Maya Gutierrez said: 'An incredibly addictive series in a genre that often disappoints! The character proves to be a strong point for sticking around, as their depth and complexity keep you guessing. It's a classic 'who done it?'! Each episode builds on the tension that is built from the last without fluff! I would recommend to anyone who is very into the genre and is looking for something to be breezy fun!'
Ric Souza added: 'This was an outstanding suspense thriller with a superb cast. If you like your stories simple, with tidy endings, Suspicion may not be for you. It is a master mystery thriller that leaves you with several final Suspicions as to who the true mastermind(s) are. There is no doubt as to the ethical, moral, and especially the scientific/political messages that reveal how our world has reached the current state of dangerous mistrust and cynicism. Brilliantly done!'
However, not everyone was sold on Suspicion, with some viewers complaining it had numerous 'plot holes.'
Seth shared: The setup in the first couple of episodes was intriguing and got me hooked. Unfortunately, it takes a steep decline, and by the time we get to the last episode, it's turned into complete garbage. The story turns into an incoherent mess that I lost all interest in, and the conclusion was so stupid and had so many plot holes.
Monique Roberts-Drape commented: 'Ok, this series is complete trash. The acting was decent (although the 'trained killer' dude, Sean, put the over in over-acting), but the plot and the twist at the end were wholly improbable and quite frankly, stupid.'
It also failed to impress critics, earning 48% on Rotten Tomatoes.
If you can't wait until Suspicion arrives on ITVX on June 15 for your next thriller fix, viewers have been binge-watching the second season of Malpractice.
It follows the investigation into Dr James Ford (Tom Hughes), who could be responsible for the 'devastating outcome' after he juggles treating an anxious new mother and the sectioning of a psychotic patient. More Trending

All four episodes of 'excellent' true crime drama available to stream on BBC
A new German true crime drama, The Black Forest Murders, has arrived on BBC iPlayer. The synopsis for the four-episode series reads: 'The clock is ticking… When a woman is bludgeoned to death, detectives face mounting pressure to crack the case and catch a killer.' And is described as an 'intense crime drama inspired by real-life cases.' The show is based on the non-fiction Walter Roth book which follows a 2016 police investigation into the mysterious murders of two young women in the south of Germany. In the show we see Senior Detective Barbara Kramer (Nina Kunzendorf) of the Lauburg police and her team, including Thomas Riedle (Tilman Strauß), embark on an investigation to apprehend the perpetrator. But as they hit dead-end after dead-end and little success through talking to witnesses and gathering evidence, the police face 'mounting pressure' to provide answers. Sue Deeks, Head of BBC Programme Acquisition, called the show an 'authentic and compelling crime series focussing on the work of a meticulous investigative team.' She added: 'As well as being a gripping murder mystery, the series offers a detailed look at the challenges of solving complex crimes, and the psychological toll on those involved in such high-stakes investigations.' 'I watched the entire series in one sitting and thought it was excellent. The meticulous investigation was amazing. Nina Kunzendorf was at her best as a fair and likeable boss in a strong team,'Sylvia Strobl praised on Google reviews. 'I found this four-part series extremely good. It was exciting, with good dialogue… and a very good portrayal of a real series of murders. The actors did a very good job, especially Ms. Kramer, who acted convincingly. John to ‘get away with murdering Nate' in Emmerdale as someone else is accused
There's never been any doubt over whether John would worm his way out of murdering Nate and disposing of Anthony and Emmerdale confirms it – so we'll call him Jammy John from now on. What's even jammier for the Teflon medic is that he doesn't even have to do the legwork in covering up his crimes – the Emmerdale villagers do it for him by incriminating themselves. As the body in the lake is exhumed, Ruby Miligan (Beth Cordingly), Cain Dingle (Jeff Hordley), Caleb (William Ash), and Chas (Lucy Pargeter) get nervous. They're all convinced it's Anthony and their minds run wild, Ruby's especially. She's so perturbed by the discovery that she decides to confess before the police come knocking on her door. Caleb is desperate not to lose his wife and suggests they go on the run instead. But before he can put the plan into action, Ruby sneaks out and heads down the station alone. Caleb hurriedly calls a solicitor, but not before Ruby has given harrowing details of the abuse she suffered – and made it clear Caleb had nothing to do with Anthony's disappearance. But whether the solicitor arrives in time remains to be seen. It soon becomes clear the body belongs to Nate, but Ruby gets far enough in her confession that she could still be in trouble for Antony's disappearance. Tensions rise in Gaza amid confusion at aid site
After the US Middle East Envoy rejected Hamas's response to his ceasefire proposal, there has been more bloodshed in Gaza, with airstrikes on Gaza City. But accounts of what happened near an aid distribution point in the south of the strip are mired in dispute. There are four distribution centres run by the controversial US-Israeli backed Gaza Humanitarian Foundation, with only a couple of them operational as yet. Witnesses on the ground reported shooting around half a mile from the western-most site, near to the coast. But the Foundation says nothing happened and Israel denies firing on civilians. Israel has now released drone footage it claims shows masked gunman opening fire near the site.
