Missing Ibrahim Ali Khan? He's Back with 'Sarzameen'
Bollywood star Saif Ali Khan's son, Ibrahim Ali Khan, made his debut this year with the romantic drama 'Nadaaniyan'. Although the film did not meet expectations, fans are excited to see the debutante appear in his second film, 'Sarzameen'.
The teaser for the film was released on Monday, June 30, revealing that the film features Prithviraj Sukumaran and Kajol Devgan.
'Sarzameen' was set to be Khan's debut film; however, it was pushed back. The film's producer Karan Johar has finally released the teaser for the film, which is set to be released on July 25 on JioHotstar.
Sukumaran plays a soldier who puts his nation above everything else. Kajol seems to be playing Sukumaran's wife and the teaser shows a series of intense sequences with cars blowing up and soldiers breaking into homes.
A scene reveals Ibrahim Ali Khan's scarred back as he takes off his kurta to wrestle with someone and defeats him. Unlike the academic jock in 'Nadaaniyan', Khan sports beard with an angry look. The teaser ends with him holding Sukurman at gunpoint.
With this new avatar, fans expectations have increased and they can't wait to see the film.
Kayoze Irani has directed 'Sarzameen'; Soumil Shukla and Arun Singh have written the story and the screenplay; and Kausar Munir and Jehan Handa have written the dialogue for this film.
If you are excited to see more of Ibrahim Ali Khan in films, mark your calendars for 'Sarzameen'.

Naseeruddin Shah Supports Diljit Dosanjh Amid Backlash
Bollywood veteran actor, Naseeruddin Shah, voiced his support for Pujabi popstar Diljit Dosanjh amid the backlash he received for releasing his 'Sardaar Ji 3', which features Pakistani actress Hania Aamir. Shah wrote on his Facebook account, "I STAND FIRMLY WITH DILJIT. He was not responsible for the casting of the film; the director was. But no one knows who he is, whereas Diljit is known the world over, and he agreed to the cast because his mind is not poisoned." He also wrote, "What these goons want is to put an end to personal interaction between the people of India and Pakistan. I have close relatives and some dear friends there, and no one can stop me from meeting them or sending them love whenever I feel like it. And my response to those who will say 'Go to Pakistan' is 'GO TO KAILASA'." Bollywood director Imtiaz Ali, who directed Dosanjh's film 'Amar Singh Chamkila', also said, "I don't know the details, but casting someone isn't the decision of the actor. I don't know how it went, but I know that he loves his country too much. People who can see the truth will understand." Indian film boards have called for a ban on the Punjabi singer's concerts, songs, and films in India. Fans were also demanding that the actor be removed from the upcoming film 'Border 2'. However, a source told Hindustan Times that the production has already shot half of the film; therefore, the producers are not planning to replace Dosanjh.
