Exploring potential trade packages for the Boston Celtics
As we approach the offseason, the Boston Celtics are projected to be one of the more active teams in the league. Brad Stevens must try to get the team below the second luxury tax apron. Jayson Tatum's Achilles tendon tear means the franchise isn't expected to be a championship competitor next season, which, in turn, negates the need for such an expensive roster.
Not only will the Celtics need to part ways with multiple veteran talents, they will also need to acquire some younger players to help remain competitive now while building for the future. Walking such a fine line will be a difficult task for Stevens. In truth, it may take 12 months to get the roster back in shape to contend at the highest level.
Still, with so much uncertainty surrounding Boston's current crop of players, there will be no end to trade ideas. In a May 28 episode of the "How 'Bout Them Celtics?" podcast, hosts Jack Simone and Sam LaFrance dissected multiple trade ideas for different players on the roster. The duo explored how realistic each trade would be, and whether they would like to see the Celtics push forward with a deal.

His stay with the team would span parts of five seasons, ending when he was dealt to the Milwaukee Bucks in 1995.
