Demi Lovato marries singer-songwriter Jordan ‘Jutes' Lutes in California
The musician-actor, 32, tied the knot with Canadian singer-songwriter Jordan 'Jutes' Lutes, 34, on Sunday in California, as first exclusively reported by Vogue.
The couple met while working on Lovato's last album, 2022's 'Holy Fvck,' and dated for nearly two years before Lutes proposed in December 2023. Lutes co-wrote a few of the songs that made 'Holy Fvck,' including 'Happy Ending,' 'City of Angels,' and the pop-punk single, 'Substance.'
Lovato wore a white Vivienne Westwood dress and Lutes wore a Saint Laurent suit.
Messages seeking comment were sent to Lovato's representatives.

Lovato, a former child star, began her entertainment career on 'Barney & Friends' before becoming a staple of the Disney Channel in the 2000s for her role in the 'Camp Rock' films and as the star of 'Sonny with a Chance.' Beyond her acting, Lovato has long been celebrated for her gifted soprano and has released eight albums.
Lutes, an independent artist whose hybridist music marries elements of emo, pop-punk and trap, was previously signed to Capitol Records.
Prior to her relationship with Lutes, Lovato was engaged to the actor Max Ehrich in 2020. They called off their engagement after two months.

Agency: PTI Last Updated: Los Angeles, Aug 14 (PTI) To commemorate the final shoot for the Amazon Prime series, 'The Boys" actor Anthony Starr, who plays Homelander in the series, wrote a bittersweet goodbye note. Based on a comic book series, 'The Boys" premiered in 2019 and the shoot for its five season-run culminated recently. Created by Eric Kripke, the show is noted for its satirical exploration of superheroes, and has amassed a global following over the years. Starr's character is the leader of the superhero team in the show, 'The Seven". Homelander is portrayed as egotistic and power-hungry. Starr admitted the departure has been surreal, writing, 'been waiting a little to let things settle and try and process the end of this show." The actor also recounted the multiple roadblocks between seasons. 'This juggernaut left the station and never stopped. Except for that Covid moment. Oh and the strikes. That was a thing too," Starr quipped. Starr also recounted his character, and his fondness for the show. 'I love this show. And I love this character. Truly. I will dearly miss heading to work, knowing what we were aiming for but never knowing where we would find ourselves by the end of the day… Only that we would have fun and it would be creatively rewarding in the extreme." He wrote The star further asserted the uniqueness of the show, writing 'There's nothing else like it. It lives in its own lane." Starr thanked the show's cast and crew. He called Kripke, the 'co-parent" to his Homelander character. 'We created a monster, sir. And I will miss him, and you." 'At the end of the shoot, all there really is to say is- thank you. The incredible Canadian crew. The amazing production team. The insanely talented cast. The people at Amazon and Sony that took a chance on this insane thing (and made the great choice in casting me) and all the other people that contributed in some way, big or small, to this beautiful, complex, warped, delicious show," The actor added. An emotional Starr also thanked the show's fan base. 'And finally- massive thank you to the fans. You are the life blood. Without you, we don't get to do this. And our fans are second to none. Mad love to you …and deepest respect for your taste." The fifth season of 'The Boys" has no set premiere date, although it may be released in 2026, according to entertainment news outlet Deadline. Canadian man slams city after Indian family plays loud music at Barrie Beach; claims was once fined for playing guitar- Watch

In the video, shared on Instagram, the man- who goes by @truenorthlooper- described himself as a one-man band and said city authorities had once stopped him from performing at the beach and fined him. He alleged the same authorities now allow others to 'blast whatever kind of music they want.' While speaking, he stopped in front of a picnic blanket with bags and a speaker playing Punjabi music. 'This is another example of coming down to the beach and blasting whatever kind of music you want and at whatever volume you want. These people are not even here, yet everyone within 150 feet has to listen to this. Great job, City of Barrie,' he said sarcastically. He continued by criticising the authorities for penalising him for playing guitar. 'Heaven forbid, I play guitar and raise money for the Barrie Food Bank. That's a no-no. But yeah, come here and blast whatever music you want, you don't even have to listen to it, go play in the water while everyone else will have to listen to it,' he added. The video, originally titled 'The good, the bad and the ugly reality of the City of Barrie,' resurfaced after being shared by a Canadian Instagram page. The post drew mixed reactions in the comments. Some supported him, writing, 'Common courtesy and space for others used to be a thing. I think the due is on point for not disturbing others peace and doing things considering ppl around you.' Another commented, 'Welcome to Canada, where immigrants get it all and Canadians with roots are the problem. Elbows up.' Others disagreed. 'Go ahead and play your guitar then,' one wrote. TIFF pulls documentary on 2023 Hamas attack from festival lineup, citing footage rights issue
The filmmakers, though, say the festival is engaging in 'censorship' by denying the film a place in the festival. The Toronto International Film Festival has pulled from its lineup a documentary on the Hamas 2023 attack into Israel over what the festival says was a footage rights issue. Organizers for the festival acknowledged on Tuesday that they withdrew Canadian filmmaker Barry Avrich's 'The Road Between Us: The Ultimate Rescue' after initially offering the film a spot in the upcoming edition of TIFF. The film chronicles the story of retired Israeli Gen. Noam Tibon, whose efforts to save his family and others during the Oct. 7, 2023 attack was profiled in a '60 Minutes' segment. STORY CONTINUES BELOW THIS AD Representatives for the festival said in a statement that the film's invitation 'was withdrawn by TIFF because general requirements for inclusion in the festival, and conditions that were requested when the film was initially invited, were not met, including legal clearance of all footage.' 'The purpose of the requested conditions was to protect TIFF from legal implications and to allow TIFF to manage and mitigate anticipated and known risks around the screening of a film about highly sensitive subject matter, including potential threat of significant disruption,' the festival said. The filmmakers, though, say the festival is engaging in 'censorship' by denying the film a place in the festival. 'We are shocked and saddened that a venerable film festival has defied its mission and censored its own programming by refusing this film,' the filmmaking team said in a statement. 'Ultimately, film is an art form that stimulates debate from every perspective that can both entertain us and make us uncomfortable.' Deadline, which first reported the news, said a sticking point was related to the identification and legal clearance of Hamas militants' own livestreaming of the attack. The filmmakers pledged to release the film regardless: 'We invite audiences, broadcasters and streamers to make up their own mind, once they have seen it.' Later Wednesday, Cameron Bailey, TIFF chief executive, apologized 'for any pain this situation may have caused' and said he was still hoping to have the film at the festival. 'I have asked our legal team to work with the filmmaker on considering all options available.' 'The events of October 7, 2023, and the ongoing suffering in Gaza weigh heavily on us, underscoring the urgent need for compassion amid rising antisemitism and Islamophobia,' said Bailey. 'While we are not a political organization, TIFF will always strive to present our programing in a safe, inclusive environment.' The Toronto festival has sometimes prompted headlines over its selections. Last year, it canceled screenings of 'Russians at War,' a documentary about Russian soldiers in the war with Ukraine. Protesters in Toronto called the film Russian propaganda. After the festival paused screenings due to 'significant threats,' 'Russians at War' was quietly screened toward the end of the festival.
