‘Happy Father's Day': King Charles shares rare childhood photo with Prince Philip, Camilla honors her late dad
King Charles marked Father's Day on Sunday, June 15, with a heartfelt social media post amid a rift with his son Prince Harry continues. A message was shared on the official Instagram account he shares with Queen Camilla, featuring a black-and-white throwback photo of a young Charles and Princess Anne being pushed on a swing by their late father, Prince Philip. The post also included a photo of Queen Camilla with her late father, Major Bruce Shand.
The caption read, 'To all Dads everywhere, we wish you a happy Father's Day today.'
The post came just a day after the third Trooping the Colour ceremony of King Charles' reign on Saturday, June 14. Prince Harry and Meghan Markle were not invited to the King's official birthday parade, where several royal family members gathered.
The rift between father and son has remained since 2020, when the Duke and Duchess of Sussex stepped back from royal duties and moved to California with their son, Prince Archie. Their daughter, Princess Lilibet, was born there in 2021.
A major point of tension is Prince Harry's loss of taxpayer-funded security in the UK after stepping back from royal life. On May 2, a judge dismissed his legal appeal to reinstate the protection. His lawyers have called the case 'a fight for his life.'
Speaking to the BBC in a revealing interview aired the same day, Prince Harry said he still hopes to repair his relationship with his family. 'I would love reconciliation with my family. There's no point in continuing to fight anymore,' he said, adding that King Charles "won't speak to me."

"He taught me to never rely on shortcuts or influence": Virat Kohli's emotional Father's Day tribute to his late father
New Delhi [India], June 15 (ANI): On the occasion of Father's Day, Indian cricket icon Virat Kohli shared a heartfelt tribute to his late father, Prem Kohli, reflecting on the values and strength he inherited from him. In a deeply personal message he posted on Sunday, Kohli opened up about a pivotal moment from his childhood that shaped his approach to life and success. Kohli took to his official Instagram handle and posted a beautiful picture along with a message, 'He taught me to never rely on shortcuts or influence -- because if you truly have it in you, hard work will show if you don't have the will to work for it, then maybe you don't deserve it yet. When I was offered an easier path once, he refused it for calm conviction, he said, 'If you're good enough, you'll find your way. And if not, it's better to know that early.' That one moment shaped how I live, work, and show up in the Father's Day to all the fathers whose quiet strength becomes our lifelong compass.' The former Indian captain recounted a moment when he was once offered an easier path in life--something many would have accepted without hesitation but his father declined it on his behalf, making a decision that would go on to define Kohli's attitude toward discipline and self-belief. Virat recently bid adieu to the Test format with a heartfelt note on Instagram, days after his long-time compatriot Rohit Sharma retired from the format. Virat's 14-year journey in the whites transformed India into a result-producing machine. He infused aggression and the culture of fitness into a team riddled with youth and experience. In a career that redefined the demands of the game, Virat scored 9,230 runs at an average of 46.85, with 30 centuries and 31 fifties, and finished as India's fourth-highest run-getter in the format. He recently lifted the Indian Premier League (IPL) trophy for Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB). (ANI)

Tennessee Titans delete viral Father's Day post after fans blast awkward wording
Mandatory Credit: Jay Biggerstaff-USA TODAY Sports / Jay Biggerstaff-USA TODAY Sports The Tennessee Titans tried to celebrate Father's Day on Sunday and ended up deleting the whole thing before noon. The post, which was meant to be inclusive and heartfelt, instead confused and irritated fans across the NFL. Fans weren't sure if it was a typo, a joke, or a serious message In what seemed to be an attempt at inclusivity or maybe just a social media team trying to do too much, the franchise accidentally alienated just about everyone. The result? Mass confusion, eye-rolls, and the post getting nuked off their timeline faster than a missed PAT. The message read: — _MLFootball (@_MLFootball) 'Happy Father's Day to all the Titans moms and fatherly figures.' The reactions were immediate. Fans couldn't tell whether the Titans were trying to acknowledge single moms, celebrate 'non-traditional' parental roles, or just completely misunderstood the assignment. Almost immediately, the replies were filled with 'Wait, what??' energy. Social media reactions ranged from confused to straight-up angry. 'Wtf does that even mean?' Some questioned if the team meant to say "parents" instead. Others accused the Titans of trying too hard to be inclusive without thinking it through. One user joked, 'Just say Happy Father's Day, it's not that hard.' It didn't take long before the Titans quietly hit delete on the post, probably hoping people wouldn't notice. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like She Found THIS Chat on Her Husband's Phone and Vanished Overnight medalmerit Learn More Undo But, well, it had already gone viral. Comments poured in blaming the Titans' PR team, calling the message 'unnecessary,' 'confusing,' or 'just weird.' One user wrote: 'You can tell the franchise is ran by a woman.' Another said: 'How hard is it to just say 'Happy Father's Day'? GD.' And others pointed out the inconsistency, asking whether mothers got similar treatment on their day. Although the Titans tried to erase the moment by deleting the post, screenshots and quote tweets are still spreading. It's become yet another lesson in how one awkward social media message can spark a backlash in under five minutes flat. At the end of the day, the Titans likely had good intentions but their delivery made things worse. In trying to be inclusive, they ended up sounding tone-deaf, and NFL fans aren't exactly known for letting that slide. Moral of the story? Just say 'Happy Father's Day.' No remix needed.
