A body has been found by teams searching for a missing 13-year-old boy.
Appeals to find Mylo Capilla were issued after he was last seen at about 21:00 BST on Thursday at an area known as the "Muddies" in Ingleby Barwick, Teesside.
Cleveland Police confirmed officers and partner agencies searching the River Tees had found the body of a boy.
While formal identification has yet to take place, Mylo's parents have been informed and are being supported by specially trained officers, the force said.
The "Muddies" is a large area stretching along the riverbank where children and young people are known to play, residents have said.
Specialist teams, including police drones and dogs, searched throughout Thursday night and into Friday with support from Cleveland Fire Brigade, marine water and mountain rescue.
Ingleby Barwick locals said people wanted to help, but police asked the public to keep away from the search area by the river.

Murder charge over woman attacked following crash

A man has been charged with murder following the death of a woman who was assaulted in Leicester following a crash. Police said the woman was attacked in Aylestone Road on Tuesday after the crash at about 17:30 BST. The woman, 56-year-old Nila Patel, died in hospital from her injuries on Thursday. Michael Chuwuemeka, 23, of Dover Street, Leicester, has been remanded to appear at Leicester Magistrates' Court on Saturday. A post-mortem examination has been conducted, and a provisional cause of Ms Patel's death has been given as a head injury. Mr Chuwuemeka has also been charged with dangerous driving, possession with intent to supply Class B drugs, attempted grievous bodily harm relating to an incident on Welford Road prior to the collision, and assault of an emergency worker following an alleged assault on a police officer after his arrest. Fourth man charged after death of man who was trying to be ‘mediator' in fight

A fourth man has been charged after the fatal stabbing of a man who was trying to be a 'mediator' in a fight. Emergency services were called to the scene outside Hounslow Muslim Centre on Hanworth Road, west London, at 2.21pm on Sunday, where the 22-year-old man was found with multiple stab wounds. Paramedics from London Ambulance Service treated the man, named by the Metropolitan Police as Dara Omar, from Brentford, west London, before he was taken to hospital where he later died. A murder investigation was launched and a fourth man has now been charged. Mohammed Ali, 35, from Hounslow, is due to appear at Willesden Magistrates' Court on Saturday charged with murder, the Metropolitan Police said. Three others also charged in connection with the incident appeared at Wimbledon Magistrates' Court on Friday. They were remanded in custody to next appear at the Old Bailey on Monday. They are: Kaywan Warzier Karim, 27, of Walnut Tree Road, Hounslow, who was charged with murder and possession of an offensive weapon on Wednesday; Tania Hamza, 33, of Kingsley Road, Hounslow, who was charged on Thursday with violent disorder and assisting an offender; and Aziz Hama, 31, of Selbourne Ave, Hounslow, who was charged on Thursday with assisting an offender.
