Helen Flanagan reveals big Scott Sinclair decision amid sudden split from Robbie Talbot

Daily Record29-05-2025
Helen Flanagan has opened up about moving homes so she can be closer to her ex-fiancé Scott Sinclair in light of her recent split from Robbie Talbot.
Helen Flanagan has revealed her plans to move closer to her ex-fiancé Scotty Sinclair, who is also the father of her three kids, in light of her reported split from Robbie Talbot. It seems the former Coronation Street star is ready to move on fast as she's just been enjoyed a sun soaked holiday to France days after the news broke.
The 34-year-old spoke to the Daily Star at the WhichBingo Awards about her future plans as she had previously confirmed she would be moving homes soon after finding it hard to co-parent from such a distance. Addressing this, mum-of-three Helen explained: "Their dad lives in Bath at the moment and plays for Bristol and then I live in North Manchester like five hours away, so it's really hard co-parenting that far away.

"So, I went to Bath for a few days to look at some schools, and check them out. Me and Scott need to live in the same city now. I've got some work projects coming up so I need to be in Manchester anyway and I don't want to mess my little girl Matilda about when she's moving again.

"So, I want her to see through year six without any disruptions and stuff and then go from there."
Helen shares her three children, Matilda, nine, Delilah, six, and four-year-old son Charlie with the former Celtic star.

Scotty and Helen split in 2022 after thirteen years together.
This comes after the news spread of her rumoured split from her former footballer partner Robbie, 45.
An insider told The Sun: "They want different things in life. She has just landed a new acting job and is trying to juggle work projects with the kids.

"She sat him down two weeks ago and said, 'This isn't working.' It was a grown-up chat. She just wants to be on her own for a while although she still has feelings for him."
Helen went public with her romance with Robbie last year after meeting him just before she was about to start filming for Celebs Go Dating.

However, the I'm A Celeb star previously admitted she had a slightly controversial first impression of him.
She told the publication: "I thought he was gay. He has these really white teeth and was so well dressed and smart and he was with his mate and I just assumed.

"As soon as we got talking, I realised that wasn't the case, we exchanged numbers, started messaging and here we are!"
She also told Fabulous about her decision to ask him to leave her family home.
She explained: "I'd asked him to stay for a while, because I often get quite scared in the house on my own and feel safer with a man there.
"But Matilda is very sensitive and a proper daddy's girl, and she struggles with not seeing Scott as often as she'd like. I always think about how she feels when she misses her dad, and having my boyfriend there maybe doesn't help her.
"When you're a mum, you do what you've got to do for your kids – I will always put mine first."

More info Mark Labbett has opened up about his deeply personal dating struggles, admitting he's remained "single for most of his life" and describing himself as "quite a late developer." The 59-year-old, who's become a household name on The Chase since 2009, has now signed up for the upcoming series of Celebs Go Dating on Channel 4. Known as 'The Beast' on the ITV show, Mark, who recently had a health scare, stands as one of the original 'Chasers' alongside Shaun Wallace. Later on, fans saw Anne Hegerty, Paul Sinha, Jenny Ryan and Darragh Ennis join the team. (Image: ITV) In an exclusive conversation with Express Online, Mark candidly discussed his involvement in the dating programme and reflected on his romantic experiences during his younger days, reports the Express. "I've never done television like this before, so it was a chance to branch out a little bit and see what it's like on the other side of the TV business, and I think it's fair to say it was a real eye opener," Mark confessed. "In fairness, I've been single most of my life, and you get very comfortable about being single, so I'm trying to put it in words. It's a new experience. I thought, 'Let's give it a try.'" (Image: Channel 4) When pressed about his very first romantic encounter, Mark disclosed: "Going back to Oxford [University] because I was quite a late developer, and let's just say it didn't last long, and we'll leave it at that." Before joining the programme, Mark had been in a relationship with entertainment presenter Hayley Palmer. The duo shared an intense year-long romance but shocked fans when they revealed their separation mere days before reaching their one-year milestone. Mark allegedly terminated their relationship via telephone call, which Hayley described as "really hard." (Image: ITV) The former pair had made an appearance on Loose Women just days prior to Mark ending things during a brief three-minute conversation in May 2024. Hayley previously told MailOnline, "I never thought in a million years he'd go on a dating show after such a painful and public breakup." "I genuinely wish him well. I am excited for him to start a new chapter in his life, just like I am." The new series of Celebs Go Dating launches at 9pm on E4.

The Repair Shop's Jay Blades charged with two counts of rape

Blades, who hosted the popular BBC show for seven years before stepping back from the role in 2024, will appear in court next week, police confirmed. A spokesperson for the West Mercia Police said: "Jason Blades, 55, of Claverley in Shropshire, has been charged with two counts of rape." They told The Sun: "He is due to appear at Telford magistrates' court on 13 August 2025." In October 2024, the former The Repair Shop star was charged with engaging in controlling and coercive behaviour, after allegations came from his estranged wife, Zbozen. The charge alleges that controlling or coercive behaviour took place in an intimate or family relationship between January 1 2023 and September 12 last year. Blades denied the charges and is currently awaiting a pre-trial review. Judge James Burbidge KC rejected an application for part of the proceedings to be heard in private. This came after his wife, Lisa Marie Zbozen, shared a post on social media detailing their separation in May 2024. According to The Metro, she said: "I don't know how to say this because it's still really raw. "I probably should be really angry, but I'm just incredibly sad about the whole thing right now. "I don't think I've ever cried so much." She added: "I will admit I'm crying as I type this, as I can't believe this is even real. "I hope you don't mind if I just have a few days trying to figure out my life, as I'm currently in a spare room with a few essentials. "I don't know what else to say."
