Crash sends 3 to the hospital in Huron County
Family continues search for missing Canton man now considered murder victim
According to the Ohio State Highway Patrol, troopers with the Norwalk Post responded to the intersection of State Route 303 and State Route 60 just before 7:30 p.m.
According to OSHP, Betty Jarvis, 75, of Elyria, was going east on SR 303 and failed to stop at the posted stop sign. As she entered the intersection, her car collided with a southbound vehicle driven by Vincent Davis, 37, of Wakeman.
The collision sent Jarvis' vehicle off the road and into a tree. Davis' vehicle went off the road and into a bush and a chicken coop.

Jarvis and her passenger suffered minor injuries and were taken by EMS to a hospital. Davis suffered life-threatening injuries and was taken to Fisher Titus Hospital before he was flown to Cleveland Metro Hospital.
No charges have been filed, according to OSHP, and the crash remains under investigation.

BRUNSWICK HILLS, Ohio (WJW) – July 13, 2024, is a date that Christopher and Rochelle Olson will never forget. It's the day their son Christion, 18, was found badly beaten. He was suffering from internal injuries and later died at a hospital. Police said he was fatally assaulted. Sunday, they held a Walk For Justice where they walked from the Brunswick Hills Police Department to Topaz Lane, less than half a mile away, where Christion was found. They've done this event several times now. The Olsons vow to keep doing it until they get justice for their son. We're going to keep raising awareness and make sure someone is held accountable. Someone needs to be held accountable for taking our son's life,' Rochelle said. The Olsons told Fox 8 that the last time they heard from police that tips weren't coming in to Medina County Crime Stoppers. Brunswick Hills Police Chief Tim Sopkovich previously told Fox 8 in March that they want justice for Christion, but need witnesses with information that can help them work toward an arrest to come forward. The Olsons believe Christion deserves justice. They shared that they're extremely thankful to all of the family, friends, and supporters who've stuck with them over the last year as they've fought to keep Christion's name out there. ‘I'm devastated and heartbroken.' Grandmother of Hershall Creachbaum speaks; ID from coroner's office pending
DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) — The grandmother of the missing 8-year-old boy, Hershall Creachbaum — who is assumed to be the boy whose body was discovered last evening — has told 2 NEWS about how this tragedy has affected her. 'I'm lost for words, my innocent grandson's life was taken by a monster,' wrote Missy Rowland Creachbaum. 'I want justice, I'm devastated and heartbroken.' She continued and named a possible suspect and person close to them. 2 NEWS is choosing not to name either until official confirmation from law enforcement. 'I haven't slept, I can't close my eyes,' wrote Rowland-Creachbaum. 'I see my baby boy, then [Person A and Person B's] faces pop up, so I can't close my eyes.' Recently, a person of interest was taken into custody after Dayton Police and Fire discovered a body believed to be a missing 8-year-old. The Montgomery County Coroner's Office will make the final determination as to whether the body is that of Hershall Creachbaum, who had been missing since early Saturday morning. Officials said Creachbaum, a non-verbal person with autism, went missing from the 400 block of Xenia Avenue at approximately 3:30 a.m. He uses a wheelchair but can walk short distances.
