Meghan Markle's subtle swipe at Piers Morgan after he branded Netflix show 'unwatchable'

Meghan Markle appeared to take a subtle swipe at Piers Morgan after he branded her Netflix show 'unwatchable'.
The Duchess of Sussex has been repeatedly criticised by the controversial TV presenter over the years - and he even sensationally quit Good Morning Britain in 2021 after ranting about the former Suits actress.
But last month, Piers tuned in to the mum-of-two's new Netflix show, With Love, Meghan before slamming her.

The 60-year-old said: "I tried watching it, and after, honestly, about three, four minutes, I was done.
"It was just unwatchable. It's just the ultimate kind of vanity project, where it's all about people telling Meghan how great she is, her telling everyone how great she is."
He continued: ‌"It's not even her house. She's doing things like making coffee, making a basic cake.
"There's nothing to actually learn here. And it's interesting to me that in Britain, they're incredibly unpopular, her and Harry.
"I mean the most unpopular Royals, which, when you think we have Prince Andrew, is pretty extraordinary to go under that bar."
In the show, Meghan introduced a new range of products - including a jar of raspberry spread, which she sent over to Piers' rival Alex Beresford, the Mirror reports.
The Good Morning Britain weatherman took to Instagram to share a snap on his gift and said: "Can't wait to try this! Thank you so much @meghan..."
He also showed fans large Jelly Cat octopus teddy bear, which Meghan had sent for his newborn daughter and gushed: "...And for Camille's sweet gift."
Alex and Piers previously clashed over Meghan, resulting in the latter dramatically leaving the ITV the show after receiving 41,000 Ofcom complaints over his comments.
Piers was sharing his thoughts on the Duchess of Sussex's Oprah Winfrey interview in which she opened up about her mental health struggles, saying he "didn't believe a word" of her admission.
Alex confronted him over his comments the next day and said: "I understand that you don't like Meghan Markle [Piers] - you've made it so clear a number of times on this programme, a number of times.
"I understand you've got a personal relationship with Meghan Markle or had one, and she cut you off.
"She's entitled to cut you off if she wants to. Has she said anything about you since she cut you off? I don't think she has, but yet you continue to trash her."
This led to Piers announcing: "OK, I'm done with this" as he stormed off set, barking: "You can trash me mate, but not while I'm [inaudible]." He announced his sudden exit from GMB shortly after.

Ulrika Jonsson shares powerful before-and-after photos as she celebrates one year of sobriety

Ulrika Jonsson has celebrated one year without alcohol by sharing before-and-after photos on Instagram. The TV presenter, 57, told her social media followers that sobriety will 'continue to be [her] priority' and thanked her children and close friends for supporting her. Gladiators star posted a recent photo showing her looking healthy, labelled '#sober', and also shared an older selfie in which she appeared bleary-eyed and messy-haired, which she labelled '#drunk'. 'Today I'm marking 1yr of sobriety,' she captioned her post. 'No fanfare, no medal, no trophy. The journey goes on. 'A huge thanks to all those beautiful people who have supported me; understood me; scooped me up and handled me tenderly and without judgement; who nudged me in the right direction; who made me laugh and helped me shed the crippling shame.' Jonsson went on to share a special message to her four children, Cameron, 30, Bo, 25, Martha, 20, and Malcolm, 17. 'Thank you to my kids for their support; for having faith in me after I must have worried them so,' she wrote, before also praising her 'close friends for their patience and belief'. 'My sobriety will continue to be my priority,' she continued, before joking: 'Turns out it IS possible to teach old dogs new tricks.' Jonsson's celebrity friends shared messages of encouragement and congratulations, with former Atomic Kitten star Kerry Katona writing: 'So bloody proud of you my darling miss and love you all the world.' Liberty X singer Michelle Heaton wrote: 'So happy for you darling.' In a post which coincided with six months of sobriety in December, Jonsson previously revealed she reached a point where she could 'no longer recognised [her]self' just before she decided to quit drinking. 'On the 5th June 2024, I had the gift of desperation and reached out for help,' she wrote. 'I no longer recognised myself and I surrendered.' 'Many people have asked me how I've done it and all I can say is that no woman is an island – I have not done this alone,' she continued. 'The willingness to give up alcohol came from me, yes, but without support of friends, family and my new tribe, I would not have made it this far.'

Is The Diplomat season 3 releasing in June 2025? Everything we know so far

By Aman Shukla Published on June 7, 2025, 17:30 IST Last updated June 7, 2025, 12:04 IST Netflix's political thriller The Diplomat , starring Keri Russell as U.S. Ambassador Kate Wyler, has kept audiences hooked with its intense drama, jaw-dropping cliffhangers, and sharp political intrigue. After the explosive Season 2 finale, fans are eagerly awaiting news about The Diplomat Season 3. One burning question is whether the show will return in June 2025. Here's everything we know so far. Is The Diplomat Season 3 Releasing in June 2025? As of now, Netflix has not confirmed an exact release date for The Diplomat Season 3, but the show is slated to premiere in fall 2025. While June 2025 falls within the first half of the year, multiple reports indicate that the release is more likely to occur between September and November 2025, aligning with Netflix's 'fall' window. The Diplomat Season 3 Renewal and Production Updates Netflix renewed The Diplomat for Season 3 in October 2024, before Season 2 even premiered, showing strong confidence in the series. Production began in June 2024, with filming taking place in London and New York City, and wrapped in mid-to-late March 2025, earlier than the initially planned March 20 date. This dual-location shoot reflects the show's commitment to capturing the global scope of diplomatic affairs. The early renewal and back-to-back filming with Season 2 (to avoid delays like those caused by the 2023 strikes) suggest Netflix is prioritizing a quicker turnaround. Executive producer Janice Williams noted that the show is 'almost finished filming' as of early 2025, with most work now in the editing room, further supporting a fall 2025 release. Additionally, Netflix announced a Season 4 renewal in May 2025, ahead of Season 3's premiere, ensuring that Kate Wyler's story will continue beyond the upcoming season.
