Celebs Go Dating chaos as two stars break down in tears over painful romantic past

Daily Mirror5 hours ago
It was an emotional night for the celebrities in the Celebs Go Dating agency as they arrived back in London - with two breaking down in tears as they opened to the agents
The tears were flowing in tonight's Celebs Go Dating, as both Olivia Hawkins and Sam Prince broke down in tears during their deep dive with the agents.

It's been an emotional couple of episodes for Love Island star Olivia, who had an instant connection with fellow client, Too Hot To Handle 's Louis Russell. The two became even closer earlier this week, as they shared a kiss but Liv was left in tears last night when it was revealed Louis had kissed his date on the same night.

Catching up with the agents, the star, who rose to fame on the ITV2 dating show in 2023, said she was feeling "a mixture of emotions."

"It's a trigger of people I've dated from the past," she said in tears. "I've always wanted that instant connection with someone and I really feel that with him, and I know it's so early but I don't think it's the right situation for me."
Liv then revealed she'd never been in relationships, but had one three year situationship, and another two year one. Speaking on her past situation, Liv found out the man she was seeing had a partner - and was blocked when she confronted him.
"But I just kept going back," she said in tears. "I just really wanted to change him and I lost myself a bit."
Elsewhere, we saw a more vulnerable side to Sam Prince, as he broke down in front of agents Anna Williamson and Dr Tara.

The Made in Chelsea star was a late addition to the agency, but he's already had his fair share of drama. The star was left fuming, when he was sent on a date with Annie, who he said wasn't his type. The next day, Annie 'roasted' Sam at the brunch, saying he was "nasty" and rated the date a 2/10.
Sam was left upset by the comments, but admitted to the agents that he was "inauthentic" during his first date, as he didn't feel a connection.
Opening up further, the 28-year-old said: "As much as I have this persona where people watch me on TV and think I don't give a f**k, I give more of a f**k then ever and I'm very sensitive.

"When I'm in love with someone, I'm so in love. Sometimes I feel like I'm too in love. I rely on that person for everything, and that's where I think I've gone wrong."
Sam then began to explain how he gives so much to relationships, that he ends up feeling "resentful".
Later on, the agents delved further into Sam's childhood, leading him to break down in tears. Although the star said he had an amazing upbringing, he said he looks for the close bond he didn't have with his parents in relationships.
Breaking down in tears, Sam he 'never felt like he was enough' for his parents, as agent Anna went over to the sofa to give him a hug.
Anna then told the star he used his "toxic love rat mask" as a coping strategy - but will Sam be able to let his guard down while in the agency?

Sam then explained how past relationships have left him feeling 'resentful' after giving too much, which he thinks stems from 'never feeling like he was enough' for his parents. However, during Monday evening's instalment, their connection was put to the test as Louis went on a date with a gorgeous brunette, who was later revealed to be Jazmine Nichol. But it was in the voiceover to which Helena mimed to, that she may have taken a swipe at her fellow contestants, Shakira, Toni Laites and Yasmin Pettet. The audio was a clip from an interview with actress Ariana Greenblatt, who played the 'mean girl' daughter in the Barbie movie. Ariana says: "Whatever, we all know blondes have more fun, because their bleach is in their hair, let's talk about it." Helena's use of the audio could be seen as a dig to Shakira, Toni and Yasmin, who were often billed as the being given the 'mean girls' edit during this series of Love Island. Her TikTok also coincided with the release of an i-D Magazine feature interview with the three Islanders where they talked about feeling grateful they could represent brunettes and in Shakira's case, the South Asian community. "What have I signed up for?" Shakira said in the i-D interview. 'Everyone's gonna love the blonde hair, blue-eyed girls, we see year in year out on Love Island. I thought, based on initial attraction, it wasn't going to go well for me, but I was pleasantly surprised.' Shakira, Toni and Yasmin also addressed the ongoing feuds and rivalries in the villa describing at "classic High School behaviour". 'We felt that massively in the changing room, the snickers, the whispers, the dirty look," Shakira said. "When you come around the corner and they stop talking, you feel isolated, it feels frosty, really tense, and it's not nice. "It wasn't a bad edit; we tried to fix it, but that was our experience, we lived it.' Despite having a rocky relationship with some of their co-stars, the trio stuck together and gracefully took on every obstacle thrown at them. Toni won the series alongside Cach and scooped a prize of £50k, while Shakira and Harry and Yas and Jamie are also going strong. Despite each bagging themselves a new fella, they have proudly said that the real prize is the friendships they made.
