Wednesday fans predict Tyler will be crucial in saving Enid after season 2 death fears

Daily Mirrora day ago
Wednesday fans believe there could be a difficult reunion for Wednesday and Tyler.
Wednesday season two is just around the corner and the hit Netflix series has teased Wednesday Addams' (played by Jenna Ortega) latest mission with a harrowing trailer.

After foreseeing her best friend Enid Sinclair's (Emma Myers) death in one of her psychic visions, she makes it her mission to prevent this terrible fate.

Fans have come up with a heartbreaking theory which suggests Enid may meet her demise before the second season ends.

Still, there is hope Wednesday will be able to save Enid and fans believe she may call on an unlikely ally to support her on her mission.
In the finale of season one, Tyler (Hunter Doohan) was revealed to be the Hyde monster terrorizing Nevermore Academy.

Tyler was taken to Willow Hill Psychiatric Hospital, the same facility where his mother was kept, and Wednesday was left unsure as to whether she could trust him.
Fans have taken to Reddit to suggest Wednesday could be forced to call on Tyler for help in saving Enid.

HappyChaosOfTheNorth said: "I think that against her better judgment and out of desperation, Wednesday is going to reluctantly enlist in Tyler's help in saving Enid.
"Thoughts? I personally can't think of any other reason she would give him the time of day except to maybe try and get clues about her stalker or something."
Kitkatloren2009 agreed, adding: "I mean. It is a classic formula. Not bad, I actually like it. It's logical too.

"The protagonist goes to an old enemy to stop another, even bigger enemy or gets help to save someone."
Soft_Interaction_437 added: "I agree that it'll be interesting to see how's he's relevant. We've only ever seen clips of him in the asylum, but we know that he gets out because we see the Hyde.

"So either they are keeping their cards with him close to the chest, or most his scenes outside the mental hospital are in part two. If your theory is correct then maybe one of the final scenes of part one will be Wednesday breaking him out?"
However, another fan believed Wednesday could be keeping tabs on Tyler for another reason.
Caesar_Seriona shared: "No. Wednesday is going to make the mistake of assuming Tyler is now hunting Enid since Enid was getting the upper hand in her fight.

"Someone pitched the idea that a rogue Hyde can only be tamed by the one who beats it. Well technically Tyler lost to his dad however in the fight itself, it was Enid.
"I bet Wednesday is tracking Tyler not only because she is p***** off she got tricked but now the timetable is being accelerated thinking Tyler wants Enid's a**."
Fans will have to wait and see whether Tyler becomes Enid's saviour, or her biggest threat.

Netflix's terrifying Amy Bradley documentary has made me think twice about cruises

They're my favourite type of holiday but I realise I've been quite naïve, writes Samantha King My inaugural cruise experience was at the tender age of nine, and I had the joy of ringing in my 10th birthday whilst sailing around the Caribbean. It was a dreamy holiday that ignited a lifelong passion in me for maritime adventures. ‌ This memorable holiday took place just a few years after the mysterious disappearance of Amy Bradley in 1998, a fact unbeknownst to me at the time. The 23-year-old vanished without leaving any trace while on a family holiday aboard Royal Caribbean's Rhapsody of the Seas, and she remains missing to this day. ‌ A fresh Netflix documentary released this month, titled Amy Bradley Is Missing, delves into the circumstances surrounding her disappearance and the ongoing search efforts that persist. ‌ There's no shortage of theories about what transpired, with TikTok also awash with speculation. The two predominant hypotheses suggest that she either fell overboard following a night of heavy drinking and never washed ashore, or she fell prey to sex trafficking and was clandestinely whisked off the ship. Both theories present compelling evidence but also glaring inconsistencies, as detailed in the Netflix documentary, reports the Mirror US. ‌ The official synopsis states: "On March 23, 1998, 23-year-old Amy Bradley disappears without a trace from the cruise ship she and her family were vacationing on. "Despite thorough searches of the ship, Amy is nowhere to be found and the cruise has already docked in their next port, Curaçao, opening the door for 2,400 passengers to explore the island and allowing Amy to potentially disappear into the crowd. ‌ "As the years pass by, possible sightings of Amy pop up in various locations from multiple people. Is it really her? Was this a tragic accident or a crime? - anything is possible. But for Amy's family - only one thing matters: bringing their daughter home alive." Now at 30, with four cruise holidays to my name, I've always been struck by the sense that a cruise ship is a world unto itself, blissfully detached from the pressures and problems that loom onshore. ‌ What had never crossed my mind was the potential peril of this, especially how a floating metropolis in international waters can be somewhat of a lawless realm until docking. As one individual in a documentary put it: "If you ever want to kill somebody, take them on a cruise." The three-part series about Amy Bradley's vanishing act opened my eyes to my own naivety. To me, a cruise was a sanctuary, a haven populated by fellow holidaymakers with good intentions. In my youth, my parents shared this belief, comfortable with letting me roam the vessel solo. But what if there was someone with ill intent aboard? What if, as an adult, I overindulged and accidentally tumbled into the ocean unnoticed? While the truth behind Amy Bradley's fate remains a mystery – and may always be – the various theories that have surfaced underscore the genuine dangers travellers face. Will I set foot on a cruise liner again? I'm beginning to question if I will.

Netflix admits it used AI to make ‘amazing' scene in hit TV show – but did YOU spot it?

The streaming giant confirmed the move in its latest earnings call, with co-CEO Ted Sarandos saying they traded in traditional VFX for generative AI in one scene. Creators of the sci-fi Netflix original, The Eternaut, wanted a collapsing building sequence to anchor a key moment in the story. But to detail such a scene would have required VFX that was apparently out of budget for the Argentine post-apocalyptic drama. "Using AI-powered tools, they were able to achieve an amazing result with remarkable speed," Sarandos said. Sarandos added that the shot "just wouldn't have been feasible for a show on that budget." Generative AI, or Gen AI, is a type of artificial intelligence that can create text, images, music, and videos from prompts given to it by humans. This content can be in all kinds of style - cartoonish, or even hyper-realistic, and therefore difficult to distinguish from real life. Netflix has reportedly got plans to roll out AI-generated adverts for ad-tier subscribers in 2026. The company is also testing a new search feature powered by OpenAI models, according to Bloomberg. Hugely popular Netflix show is ENDING after seven years – leaving fans devastated But The Eternaut marks a milestone, becoming "the very first Gen AI final footage to appear on screen in a Netflix original series or film," Sarandos said. The shift towards generative AI is already happening within Hollywood. Films like 10-time Oscar nominee The Brutalist and Late Night with the Devil faced backlash for even light AI involvement. The issue is already on the radar of SAG-AFTRA, a union whose members went on strike against AI use in video games last summer. "The video game industry generates billions of dollars in profit annually. The driving force behind that success is the creative people who design and create those games," SAG-AFTRA president, Fran Drescher, said at the time. "That includes the SAG-AFTRA members who bring memorable and beloved game characters to life, and they deserve and demand the same fundamental protections as performers in film, television, streaming and music: fair compensation and the right of informed consent for the AI use of their faces, voices and bodies."
