Katherine Ryan's 'awful' outfit that 'ruined aesthetic' of Mel B's wedding
Mel B got married last week in a star-studded ceremony in London. But guest Katherine Ryan has since expressed some regrets at her choice of outfit.
Mel, 50, married her partner Rory McPhee, 37, at St Paul's Cathedral on Saturday, July 5. Katherine and her husband Bobby Kootstra were among the guests at the all-stars event.
Katherine shared on the latest episode of her podcast, Telling Everybody Everything, released yesterday, that she was "so touched" to be invited, particularly as a Spice Girls fan, reports the Mirror.
She however told listeners: "I looked like s*** at Mel B's wedding, everybody knows it!" Katherine went on to discuss her outfit, including revealing that she had to get creative when it came to the headpiece that she wore.
Katherine, who previously announced that she's pregnant, said that she didn't know how "big" she would be so had decided to get a "flowy" dress.
Describing her chosen blue dress, she said: "It almost looks like bed linen. It's very dreamy."
The pregnant mother of three said it was "so difficult" to get ready at home with her children around, explaining, "I don't have the thinnest arms for it. I'm too pale for it."
She told listeners: "It was awful - no offence to the designer!"
She also said: "I put my hair down, which was absolutely the wrong way to do it." Katherine then shared that she had previously shaved the back of her neck because of her "low" hairline, adding: "I can't put my hair up right now because I've chosen to grow this like neck out and it ruined the look."
The dress code for the ceremony included hats and fascinators for women, Katherine explained.
Adhering to the invitation, she recalled that she had ordered a "beautiful" fascinator ahead of the special occasion last week.
But she "panicked last minute" that it wasn't the right shade of blue to match her dress. She told fans that she had to craft a flower into a headline instead, saying: "I ended up chopping an orchid from my kitchen and sticking that in my head."
Discussing her look, she said: "It was giving ugly step-sister. Like I truly s*** the bed on the look."
Further sharing her thoughts, Katherine teased that she now feels like she "ruined the aesthetic" of the wedding.
Katherine said that her husband Bobby, who opted for a cream suit, "didn't like his look" either. She said on the latest episode of her podcast: "I don't think we've ever looked worse ... on like the most important day of someone's life."
Whilst talking about the wedding, Katherine shared her surprise over the guestlist.
She said: "Everyone there was like a close personal friend, or family member, or Northern. Y'know someone she really knew. [...] It had a real grassroots like true friendship and family vibe. It was a lovely, lovely wedding."

Sneaky trick to find buried treasure in Bedrock that Minecraft doesn't tell you
When it comes to finding buried treasure in Minecraft, one game player and forum fan has a key piece of advice for Bedrock players - read on for the full lowdown Minecraft is a simple, block-based world that offers never-ending play. A staggering 204 million people reportedly play the addictive game every month, with obsessed youngsters and grown-ups alike gaining skills in problem-solving, creativity even team work. Minecraft 's virtual landscape sees people dig holes to collect blocks from which they can create anything from a simple hut to a complex city. And while the game, which is available on every mobile device and video game console, is easy to pick up, it's full of secrets. Thankfully, there are loads of handy tips and tricks online to help gamers in their individual quests. One Redditor posted a PSA or Public Service Announcement for Bedrock players, meaning those who have a multi-platform version of Minecraft rather than the original Java Edition, who are struggling to find buried treasure... READ MORE: Minecraft Movie on brink of box office history as Warner Bros bosses confirm sequel is coming 'imminently' "As you may have heard from Java players or the Wiki, buried treasure always spawns at 'chunk coordinate 9 on both the X and Z axes'," the forum user explained. "For those of us who play Bedrock and therefore don't have access to all that handy debug info, that basically means an odd multiple of 8 (chunks are 16 blocks wide, and chunk coordinates start at 1 instead of 0). "Stated in mathematical language, {X,Z} mod 16 = {8,8}. You can calculate this easily in a web browser by typing X % 16 or Z % 16, where % is the modulo operator; e.g. 152 % 16 = 8, -56 % 16 = 8, etc." The helpful Redditor explained it was also possible for the chest to spawn underneath stone-type blocks, urging Bedrock players to trust the coordinates. "Go to the X on the map, do the modulo math, and dig straight down, and you'll find the chest every time," they said. And the Minecraft advice-giver had one final note for people looking to enhance their game. "ALWAYS BREAK THE CHEST," they said. "Bedrock tends to have issues with multiple maps pointing to the same chest, even if there's another one closer to where the map was found." Earlier this year, with the help of the Mirror revealed 18 secrets Minecraft doesn't tell you. They included: Llamas can be handy to have around if you find you keep running out of inventory space. If you click on a llama while holding a chest, that chest becomes the animal's inventory space. When you break a block, the breaking pattern always appears on its north side. This can come in handy if you need to quickly orientate yourself. In earlier versions of Minecraft, diamonds were most likely to appear between five and 12 levels down. Now, they appear between 15 and 63 levels down - and the deeper you dig, the more likely you are to find them.

Oasis fans livid as Heaton Park's Gallagher Hill shut down by 'kill joys'
Oasis fans without tickets to the extremely hard to get Heaton Park shows have been left fuming. Police and organisers have appeared to put an end to the 'free concerts' outside the venue. 80,000 lucky fans have been able to head to Manchester to watch Liam and Noel Gallagher reunite on home turf. Those unlucky to bag the hot tickets managed to still catch a glimpse of the action from a nearby hill. Fans flocked to 'Oasis Hill', also dubbed 'Gallagher Hill', to watch and listen to the iconic band perform. However, a large fence has now appeared blocking the view. One fan who passed by the site ahead of Wednesday's performance spotted a large green fence that now blocks the gap where the stage could be seen. They declared: "Gallagher Hill is no more!!!" Fans shared in the devastation as one said: "tell them to take it down plzzzz it's only locals." Another added: "Won't let anyone have any joy!" Someone else commented: "Hahaha a fence like this won't stop people from going on the hill!" Police have already been cracking down on ticketless fans in the area as some even tried to hop the fence in order to see the Gallagher brothers. Get Oasis updates straight to your WhatsApp! Greater Manchester Police reported six people had been arrested for trying to get into the shows with "fake accreditation", while others had been caught trying to force their way through a perimeter fence. Oasis are set to play another three shows at Heaton Park on 16, 19 and 20 July. Images taken at the scene showed one man in handcuffs as a member of Greater Manchester Police escorted him away, while another was carrying a ladder. Another image showed a line of police officers standing outside several entrances along the perimeter to stop people attempting to gain access for free. However, those watching from a distance on Gallagher Hill appeared to be having the time of their lives as they watched the massive screen below. Oasis: What's Their Story? An unofficial celebration magazine on sale now! A few simple words on social media on August 27 in 2024 were enough to spark pandemonium among Oasis fans and were the catalyst for the most eagerly awaited UK gigs of all time. This special unofficial magazine, available to order here, marks the reunion and honours the band both now and down the years with our incredible archive of photos and interviews - and with exclusive reviews and photographs of their first show! It even caught the attention of Oasis guitarist Paul 'Bonehead' Arthurs, who is credited with reuniting Liam and Noel. He shared a video of fans enjoying the concert from outside the venue, alongside the caption: "No tickets needed," alongside red heart emojis. Those in attendance in and outside of Heaton park saw the show on huge screens, measuring 84 meters by 12 meters, a whole 20 meters bigger than those in Cardiff at the first reunion shows. They are also the largest ever used at a concert in the UK. Greater Manchester Police have urged people without tickets not to travel to Heaton Park. The force added: "We would advise all fans travelling to and from the coming events to ensure they keep an eye out for information from our partners about transport options and road closures, allow enough time to get to the concert, keep hydrated and look out for each other."

The 52-year-old television personality is recognised for fronting shows including The X Factor, This Morning, The One Show and numerous others. He's now set to test his skills as a quiz show presenter, working alongside Olympic hockey champion Sam Quek. The Hungry Bear-produced programme centres around American football and is reportedly still in its developmental phase, with insiders suggesting Dermot and Sam make an excellent on-screen duo, reports the Mirror. "The show is at pilot stage but Dermot and Sam have really good chemistry so everyone is excited about taking this to a full series at some point," an insider revealed to The Sun. "Hungry Bear are the masters in this realm, and NFL is such a growth area." Meanwhile, Sam gained recognition through her appearance on I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! where she made it to the final four. She previously served as a guest panellist on sports quiz show Play to the Whistle and BBC's A Question of Sport. She's also fronted various sports programmes, including The NFL Show, rugby union coverage on Channel 5, field hockey on BT Sport, and football for Channel 4. Her latest venture saw her competing on the 22nd series of Strictly Come Dancing. She continued: "The whole team's been lovely, and I'm just excited to get stuck in and learn from people I really admire." When discussing her ideal co-hosting partner, Olivia revealed: "If I ever get to host with Alison, I'm so sure we'd just laugh for two hours straight. Probably three." This Morning airs weekdays on ITV1, from 10am.
