What Is Charlize Theron's Net Worth in 2025?
Charlize was on Forbes' highest paid actresses list in 2017, coming in at number six on the list with $14 million thanks in part to her hit action movie Atomic Blonde. But things only went up from there. According to Celebrity Net Worth, Charlize made $23 million between 2017 and 2019.
We can all agree that's a huge amount of money, but she's had to fight for equal pay over the years. Per the Hollywood Reporter, Charlize negotiated to be paid the same amount as Chris Hemsworth for Snow White and the Huntsman (somewhere north of $10 million).
Charlize told Elle (via The Telegraph), 'I have to give them credit because once I asked, they said yes. They did not fight it. And maybe that's the message: That we just need to put our foot down. This is a good time for us to bring this to a place of fairness, and girls need to know that being a feminist is a good thing. It doesn't mean that you hate men. It means equal rights. If you're doing the same job, you should be compensated and treated in the same way."
According to Celebrity Net Worth, Charlize earned $3 million to endorse Raymond Weil watches back in the early aughts. But her most lucrative collaboration came from Dior, who allegedly paid her $55 million for an 11 year contract as the face of J'adore Dior, which ended up being about $5 million per year. She's since been named a jewelry and skincare ambassador for the brand.
So, Charlize's salary hasn't been revealed just yet, but Netflix pays a lot. Like, a LOT. They famously dolled out $25 million to Jennifer Lawrence for her role in Don't Look Up, and more recently were said to have paid Jennifer Lopez $16.5 million for her role in Atlas. So, it seems safe to assume Charlize made over $10 million (her asking price back in 2012) for the highly anticipated sequel.
Charlize's Hollywood Hills Mansion is presumably worth multiple millions, but she purchased it for "just" $1.65 million in 1998. On top of that, she owns a property in Ojai which she bought for $4.2 million and is apparently worth over $15 million. I could cry!
Prepare yourself: According to Celebrity Net Worth, Charlize has $200 million in the bank. And it's unclear if that number factors in Netflix's Old Guard 2 pay, so...the figure could actually be much higher.
