For all the gamers who have booted the game up to see an error message asking to turn on Secure Boot, they have probably not yet entered into any warfare.

The EA support site, the game publisher, has elaborated on what Secure Boot is and does for all PC gamers. Some EA games require Secure Boot. It is a Windows 10 and Windows 11 security feature that ensures your PC only loads safe software during startup.
Secure Boot allows games supported by EA Javelin Anticheat to detect and remove bad actors, resulting in fewer cheaters and a better experience for players. It basically helps the Battlefield 6 team fight back against would-be cheaters.

How to check if Secure Boot is on
Select the Windows Key + R. This will open the Run window.
Type msinfo32 and select the Enter key or OK.
Select System Summary from the System Information window that opens.
Scroll down to find these values: The BIOS Mode value should be UEFI, and the Secure Boot State value should be on.
If Secure Boot State is Off, we'll need to check the BIOS Mode and then enable it.
If Secure Boot State is Unsupported, check with your motherboard manufacturer's specification sheet or manual to see if Secure Boot is supported.
If BIOS Mode is UEFI, then you can move on to
how to enable Secure Boot
.
If BIOS Mode is Legacy, you'll need to check if your Windows disk is MBR or GPT.
How to turn on Secure Boot
How you enter your BIOS depends on your motherboard. Each brand has its own key you press repeatedly during startup, usually F2, F10, F12, or Delete. But if you're on Windows 11, there's an even easier way to enter into the BIOS without restarting your PC.
Open your Start menu, then click the power button on the bottom right.
Hold the Shift key and click Restart. This will boot your PC into the Windows Recovery Environment.
On this blue screen, select Troubleshoot > Advanced Options > UEFI Software Settings > Restart.
You will now enter the BIOS. Look for one of two menus: Security or Boot. Either way, within one of these menus will be the Secure Boot toggle. Set Secure Boot to enabled. Now, the next step is to ensure that the settings are saved. After everything is done, leave the BIOS to boot up Windows 11.

Apple brings back blood oxygen feature for Apple Watch users in the US, but there's a catch
Apple restored blood oxygen monitoring to its smartwatches Thursday after more than a year-long absence, but users must sacrifice convenience for the comeback. The iPhone maker is now rolling out the redesigned feature for Apple Watch Series 9 , Series 10, and Ultra 2 owners through software updates. Blood oxygen readings now only viewable on iPhone, not Apple Watch Apple's workaround strips away the feature's most convenient aspect: on-wrist viewing. While the Apple Watch still captures blood oxygen measurements, all processing now happens on the paired iPhone instead of the watch itself. Users must check the iPhone's Health app under the Respiratory section to view readings, a departure from the seamless access they previously enjoyed. This technical restructuring allows Apple to sidestep patent violations that triggered the International Trade Commission's import ban. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like Play this game for 1 minute and see why everyone is addicted. Undo The restored feature only applies to watches sold after January 17, 2024, identifiable by serial numbers ending in "LW/A." Earlier models and international versions retain original functionality. The feature is back but Apple is still fighting Masimo A recent US Customs ruling enabled Apple to reintroduce the health tracker by redesigning how it operates, a significant development in Apple's bitter patent fight with medical device maker Masimo, which forced the original feature's removal in late 2023. But, Apple's ongoing war with Masimo continues. The California-based pulse oximeter manufacturer accused Apple of stealing trade secrets and infringing multiple patents when it sued in 2020. The dispute escalated when the ITC upheld Masimo's patent claims, forcing Apple to temporarily halt Apple Watch sales during the crucial holiday season. Apple fired back with its own lawsuit, claiming Masimo's smartwatches copy the Apple Watch design. Apple's 916-page appeal challenging the ITC ban continues, though Masimo's patents don't expire until 2028, potentially prolonging this legal standoff. AI Masterclass for Students.
