EA FC 26 cover stars confirmed as Jamal Musiala joins Jude Bellingham as faces of EA Sports FC

Jude Bellingham has remained as the EA Sports FC cover star, but a new face joins him on the front of EA FC 26
Jamal Musiala has been confirmed as a new EA FC 26 cover star, with the Bayern Munich star featuring alongside Jude Bellingham on the front of the new game.

After months of anticipation, EA Sports is finally starting to reveal information about EA FC 26, the newest instalment in the EA Sports FC series. EA recently updated all of its social media profile photos with the EA FC 26 logo to mark the start of the EA FC 26 era, and that began at the start of the week, with Zlatan Ibrahimovic being unveiled as the new EA FC 26 Ultimate Edition cover star.

Now, the new EA FC 26 cover stars for the standard edition of the game have been revealed. EA FC 26 leaks confirmed that Bellingham would remain on the front of the game for EA FC 26, but a later leak revealing that he would be joined by Musiala has now been proven true, with the German lining up on the EA FC 26 cover alongside the Real Madrid midfielder.

The faces of EA FC 26 revealed
The EA FC 26 Standard Edition cover has been released by EA, featuring both Bellingham and Musiala. The image features the duo, rocking the new Real Madrid and Bayern Munich kits respectively, walking out of a tunnel, with fans cheering them on from either side.
The image also features Champions League advertisement in the background, confirming that the competition will be fully licensed in EA FC 26. But, the biggest tell from the EA FC 26 cover is that Bayern Munich will be a partner club for EA FC 26.

Bayern Munich were previously licensed with Konami's eFootball, but that partnership ended earlier this year, opening up the door for a full return to EA FC 26. This means that, for the first time since FIFA 19, the Allianz Arena will be available to use in-game.
After making his debut on the EA FC 25 cover, EA FC 26 marks the second time Bellingham has been an EA Sports FC cover star, while it's also the first time that Musiala has appeared on the front of the game. In fact, Musiala is the first German and Bundesliga player to star on the cover since Marco Reus in FIFA 17.

The Open hawks swoop into action to scare off Portrush seagulls

The Open hawks swoop into action to scare off Portrush seagulls Harris hawks drafted into Portrush to scare off the seagulls Birds are seen at The 153rd Open Championship at Royal Portrush Golf Club The Open hawks have made a flying start at Royal Portrush and a bald eagle is set to join the party, writes Craig Swan. ‌ Tournament chiefs have drafted in the initial quartet of the birds to protect fans and keep seagulls away from the Dunluce Links. ‌ Harris hawks are here to do the job with a handler taking each of them around the course to take to the skies if any seagulls hover and scare them off. ‌ The four have been on the course since Sunday and falconer David Trenier told BBC News NI the hawks are making sure golf fans can enjoy their food in peace. He said: 'They are very, very sociable, used to working with large crowds and are big enough to spook the gulls enough to move them off.' The birds, named Aurora, Belle, Caine and Cheyenne, will rotate in shifts throughout the tournament and come from the Clear Skies Falconry Pest Control is specifically tasked with patrolling the skies over areas where food is served. He continued: 'When they come in, the presence of the hawk on the course puts them off, they make sure the gulls don't come down.' ‌ Previous Open Championships at Troon and St Andrews have similarly called on birds of prey, while Rufus, an American Harris hawk, has been scaring pigeons at Wimbledon for more than 15 years. Trenier said: 'It is so lovely to see the public reaction, they want to talk and they want to ask questions. The kids want to have a picture taken and know more about them.' Pilgrim, a 24-year-old bald eagle, will be at The Open this weekend and Trenier added: 'He will definitely disturb the gulls.' ‌ Follow Record Sport on Twitter, Facebook and Instagram for all of the up-to-the minute breaking news, video and audio on the SPFL, the Scotland national team and beyond.
