A STRICTLY Come Dancing winner's show has been shelved by ITV after one series on air.
Chris McCausland lifted the glitterball trophy last December with his pro partner Dianne Buswell in a historic win.

Since then, the 47-year-old has been inundated with TV work offers and even starred in his own Christmas movie with comedian Lee Mack.
However, in a blow to the blind comic, his ITV chat show has been pulled off air after one series.
The programme - titled The Chris McCausland Show - debuted last year on Saturday mornings on ITV1.
It was part of a schedule shakeup, which saw bosses axe Laura Whitmore and Oti Mabuse's similar shows.
A source said: "ITV appears to be moving away from studio-based chat shows in their weekend schedule.
"In the last number of years they've invested heavily in their daytime programmes and have given new faces an opportunity to shine.
"Chris was a breath of a fresh air, but ultimately there are no plans for his show to return."
All 11 episodes of Chris' first series are available now to stream on ITVX.
Chris has already landed another telly gig - on rival channel the BBC - with a one-off special documentary exploring the future of technology.
He'll explore how new tech will impact him personally as he lives with retinitis pigmentosa, a condition that took his eyesight when he was a child.

Meanwhile, Loose Women star Katie Piper has had her programme renewed for a third outing, but with a major shakeup.
The 41-year-old has ditched her studio in favour for a countryside backdrop, with ITV rebranding the show Katie Piper's Weekend Escape.
Oti Mabuse has addressed her ITV series being axed in a new interview.
Speaking to Prima, Oti said: 'When I look back on Strictly, I think the whole seven-year journey was amazing. I still work on the show. I still do choreography, I'm still talking to the producers.
"I say that the show brought me everything, like me sitting here today, and the relationship still very much continues.
"There were ups, there were downs; if you can imagine being the first Black anything, anywhere, there will always be ups and downs."

Ncuti Gatwa shares emotional post after leaving Doctor Who
Gatwa's 15th Doctor regenerated in Saturday's finale (May 31), and regenerated into the returning Billie Piper. Now, he has shared a social media post thanking co-stars Millie Gibson and Varada Sethu. Taking to Instagram, Gatwa shared a picture of the trio, and said: "Three queens of the sky, "Twas an experience like no other and thank God we were by eachothers side. "There aren't quite the words for how much you both mean to me but I am so grateful I got the opportunity to work, learn from and laugh with you both everyday. "You're both just simply incredible and it has been nothing short of a blessing to share this journey with both of you. "Ruby Sunday and Belinda Chandra will live in mine and the Whoniverse hearts forever. "Also shout out to the CAPTAIN of all 15's companions. Captain Poppy. Ultimate top dog of this season! (lil Sienna brought so much life and magic to us all on set ) I love you guys. We did it." It was the first of two Instagram posts Gatwa has shared since his exit. Doctor Who: All Fifteen Doctors in Order In a statement released by the BBC, on his decision to leave, Gatwa said:'You know when you get cast, at some point you are going to have to hand back that sonic screwdriver and it is all going to come to an end, but nothing quite prepares you for it. 'This journey has been one that I will never forget, and a role that will be part of me forever. "There are no words to describe what it feels like to be cast as the Doctor, nor are there words to explain what it feels like to be accepted into this iconic role that has existed for over 60 years and is truly loved by so many across the globe. 'I've loved every minute of it, but now is the time to hand over the keys to that beloved blue box and let someone else take control and enjoy it every bit as much as I have. "I'll truly miss it, and forever be grateful to it, and everyone that has played a part in my journey as the Doctor.' Is Billie Piper the new Doctor on Doctor Who? After Gatwa's exit, the 15th Doctor is seen regenerating into Billie Piper. Piper, 42, first appeared in the series as the companion to the Ninth Doctor in 2005, playing Rose Tyler alongside Christopher Eccleston's Time Lord. She stayed on and was the companion to the 10th Doctor, played by David Tennant. However, despite her introduction on the show, it has not been confirmed she is the 16th Doctor. ‘An audible gasp': Doctor Who fans shocked by Billie Piper return
Nearly two decades since she first appeared on Doctor Who, Billie Piper made a spectacular return to the show on Saturday night, in the latest season's finale, The Reality War. After just two series, Ncuti Gatwa's Doctor regenerated into a grinning Piper, who greeted viewers with a 'oh Hello!' in the episode's final scene. The 42-year-old is best known to Doctor Who fans for playing the Doctor's companion Rose Tyler for two seasons, alongside Christopher Eccleston, when the show was reintroduced to TV screens in 2005 after a 16-year break. Her return came as a genuine shock to fans, many of whom were impressed that the BBC had managed to avoid leaks. But it has also left them with questions – will Billie Piper play the Doctor in the show's next series? And will there be a next series at all? In February the BBC denied reports the show faced the axe – but said any decision wouldn't be made until the latest series had been broadcast. Its statement pointed out half of the 26 episodes agreed with Disney+ still had not aired. Twenty-one out of those 26 have now aired, leaving a five-episode spinoff starring Russell Tovey, the trailer for which aired after Saturday's finale. TV critic and Doctor Who fan Scott Bryan, 35, said the reintroduction of Piper to the show came at a pivotal time for Doctor Who, amid speculation about its future. 'I think it felt a bit like, towards the end of the episode, a pitch to Disney to say: 'Hi, please renew us, we've got Billie Piper'.' 'Of course we've not had any confirmation about whether the Disney deal will be renewed, but also when or if these episodes will be aired. Nothing has been confirmed regarding filming. It's a moment in TV that has raised more questions than answers, but that's how Doctor Who works.' Concerns have been raised about falling viewing figures, which have struggled to rally since Russell T Davies' return in 2023. Two episodes during this series, which aired in May, got less than 3 million viewers – the lowest since the modern era began airing in 2005. The coordinator of the Doctor Who Appreciation Society, Tony Jordan, 66, from Staffordshire, said he was concerned about the show's future. 'Obviously if it had been a stellar success then they would have recommissioned it already,' he said. 'It is a concern that it is not going straight back into production but, to be fair, there have been times since it came back in 2005 where you've had a year-long break.' Whether Piper will play her old character Rose, the Doctor or another character is also unclear. The credits, which showed Gatwa and Jodie Whittaker as 'the Doctor' did not do the same for Piper. Eccleston, her former Doctor, told an event in the US in 2021 he backed the idea of his former assistant taking on the role. He said: 'I was saying to somebody today in the green room that Russell T Davies is coming back, right, and who's going to be his Doctor? I think it should be Billie Piper actually. Catherine Tate's great but, I think there's your Doctor.' Dan McLaughlin, 30, who was watching the finale with fellow fans at a cinema in Manchester when Piper appeared said: 'There was an audible gasp when she came on, definitely. There was maybe about two or three cheers, and someone behind me swore.' Bryan said: 'It was a real surprise. I think Billie Piper is fantastic, she was one of the reasons why the 2005 series landed so well and led to 20 years of a hugely successful show and a reboot. But a surprise nonetheless.' He added: 'I'm intrigued by what they decide to do with her, and the fact that there's mysteries around the fact that we don't know whether she's playing the Doctor, it's a bit open ended.' McLaughlin said he felt 'deflated' by Piper's appearance as it indicated a lack of new ideas behind the show. He said: 'Billie Piper's amazing and Rose was a wonderful character, but you want something new now, you want to be excited. I loved [David] Tennant in the 60th anniversary special, but bringing back characters loses its novelty if you just keep on bringing the old ones back all the time. It's lacking in original ideas.'

I felt so honoured to be a part of that, to just make them happy, make them go away with these beautiful memories. "It was so emotional and magical– I look back on it and just feel grateful to be part of that. "I want to keep doing charity work, be a real advocate for the deaf community and work with charities like Make-A-Wish. "These are the things I'm passionate about, I want to help people when I can. That's what is really important to me." The deaf dancer also opened up about her own struggles with her disability. She added: "I do still face difficulties today, but, you know, it doesn't compare at all to that these children go through every single day. "Everyone has their own difficulties, dealing with disabilities and illnesses, but these children live in a hospital, and for Make-A-Wish to provide an experience where it's all accessible, they can travel and they look after them. "It's so important to have that in the world, because the world can be so sad and scary sometimes. It's nice to have that positive light in their lives."
