Rebecca Gibney doesn't look like this anymore! Packed to the Rafters star unveils dramatic transformation
The 60-year-old actress has been synonymous with her signature shoulder-length blonde tresses since she first appeared on Packed to the Rafters in 2008.
On Monday, Rebecca took to Instagram to unveil a more natural look, showcasing her freshly cut brunette hair.
'Did a thing. Then stole my sons beanie. 60 going on 14. Some things never change,' she wrote, while thanking her hairdresser for 'indulging' the request.
Rebecca couldn't contain her happiness in the carousel of pictures she shared.
The actress' smile reached her eyes, as she showed off the shoulder-length bob cut and fresh highlights in her brown-toned locks in a few selfies.
While the actress has occasionally dyed her hair brown for particular roles, she has always reverted back to her trademark bright blonde.
Chestnut bronde, a blend of blonde and brunette, was declared the shade of 2025 by hairstylist Chris McMillan— the man behind Jennifer Anniston's hair on Friends.
The in-between shade, seen recently on the likes of Ariana Grande, Hailey Bieber, and Margot Robbie, tends to trend in times of global economic hardship because it requires less salon upkeep.
The change comes after the actress admitted filming the new season of Dancing With The Stars was 'the most challenging thing' she has ever done.
'Will I come out of it a pro dancer? No. Has there been tears? Yes. Lots. But it's also the most rewarding, amazing thing I've ever done,' she recently posted to Instagram.
'I've been asked a few times, and never been able to do it,' she told Stellar magazine.
'And I've always gone, "But I wouldn't anyway, because it's too hard and it's not my field."
'Then I found myself saying yes; the voice in my head said yes, even though the rest of me was going no,' she added.
'I was having this inner dialogue with myself, going, "What are you doing?"
'I realised that – particularly with turning 60, it's apparently the third act – I want to say yes more than no.
'I want to do things that frighten and challenge me, and hopefully that will give me a little bit extra longevity.'
Rebecca is the fourth woman ever to be inducted into the TV Week Logie Hall of Fame.
She follows Noni Hazlehurst, Kerri-Anne Kennerley and the late Ruth Cracknel.

Sophie Kasaei takes swipe at Towie's Ella Rae Wise after explosive row erupts
Click to share on X/Twitter (Opens in new window) Click to share on Facebook (Opens in new window) SOPHIE Kasaei has taken a swipe at Towie's Ella Rae Wise after their explosive row. The Only Way is Essex season 36 kicked off in style last night and saw the cast locked in an almighty group row. 6 Sophie Kasaei has taken a swipe at her Towie rival Ella Rae Wise Credit: ITV 6 It came after Ella branded Sophie 'irrelevant' Credit: ITV 6 Last night's opening episode saw an explosive row between the cast Credit: ITV 6 Sophie and her boyfriend Jordan Brook rowed with the other cast Credit: ITV The argument started when Freddie Bentley and Ella revealed their annoyance at certain members of the group failing to support her during her stint in the Celebrity Big Brother house earlier this year. Freddie had sent a group chat message to encourage the cast to post in support of Ella in order to conjure up votes for her stay in the famous house. But with many of them choosing not to, it left a sour taste in Ella and her best pal Freddie's mouths. The main targets of the pair's frustrations appeared to be Sophie and her boyfriend Jordan. Tensions began to reach boiling point as Freddie ranted at Jordan. Sophie then shouted over to Ella: "Ella what's your problem? To which she replied: "I don't really have one, you're irrevant!" Not missing a beat Sophie bite back: "So are you love, and you always will be!" Now the former Geordie Shore star has taken another swipe at her Towie rival. Towie's Ella Rae Wise denies dumping Dan Edgar for CBB as she reveals the 'real reason' for split It came after Sophie made a comment under the new series promo picture on Towie's Instagram of the whole cast together. She wrote: "Don't you worry my girl I'm the only Geordie in the village .' Co-star Saffron Lempriere then replied: 'Well your relevant up and down the country honey x' Sophie replied: ' I'm needed in all postcodes .' Meanwhile, as the tension continued on last night's episode of Towie, Jordan walked over to talk to Ella and insisted that his loyalty to her ex Dan Edgar had prevented him from supporting her in the CBB house. Ella then snapped back: "Do you know what your f***ing best mate did to me before I went in (into the CBB house)?" She then made a reference to Sophie by saying that she would not be happy if Jordan went "on a bender" - implying that Dan's partying was the reason she dumped him. As Sophie joked back that she wouldn't care, Ella hit back: "Yeah, because you are desperate!" Clearly wound-up, Jordan insisted "don't call my bird desperate" as Ella attempted to walk off. Ella and Sophie then began to scream at each other from across the pool as they clashed over Ella's remarks as she insisted Sophie was old and irrelevant. Things were only just beginning as Freddie branded Jordan the problem, leading to a three-way confrontation between him and the couple. Sophie then got very close to Freddie's face as he barked back at her: "What are you gonna do about it - you f*** off!" 6 Sophie was seen shouting at Ella Credit: ITV 6 Ella was left fuming at the argument Credit: ITV Stepping in, Jordan then came into Freddie's face and then launched his body at his co-star to push him out of the way. As Freddie stumbled, Jordan appeared to take another lunge at him as Freddie asked: "Who are you pushing?" The cameras then appeared to cut to a group setting as the scuffle could be heard continuing out of sight. It seemed other cast members had got involved as a security guard's arm could be seen holding Freddie back as Junaid Ahmed also appeared to be escorted away from the scene. Sophie later ranted that they were "so rude" to her face as Jordan bluntly remarked: "Yeah I nearly chinned Freddie but I'm alright." Watch the drama unfold on Towie tonight at 9pm on ITV2

The couple looked loved-up in some photos, while Diletta caused a stir with her bold outfit choice for her daughter's birthday. Despite the unusual fashion statement, her fans still showered her with compliments in the comments section of the post. One wrote: "Beautiful and beautiful." While another added: "Always beautiful and unique". A third commented: "You are amazing". And a fourth posted: "You are always wonderful". Others left more negative comments on the outfit choice for the occasion. 12 Diletta cut the cake at the elaborate bash Credit: Instagram @dilettaleotta 12 She blew out the candle with little Aria Credit: Instagram @dilettaleotta Diletta boasts a whopping 9.2MILLION followers on Instagram, where she is always sharing updates of her life away from the TV cameras. As well as her incredible social media following, Diletta is a host for DAZN's football coverage in Italy. But the Italian has come under criticism in recent months for her on-screen outfits. Valentina Maceri, who presents Champions League coverage on Swiss broadcaster Blue, slammed Diletta and a number of her DAZN colleague's outfits as "lacking in class" and "vulgar". Diletta has been with former Liverpool goalkeeper Karius since 2022, with the pair welcoming little Aria in 2023 before tying the knot last year. Karius now plays for Bundesliga 2. side Schalke after leaving Newcastle in 2024, meaning the pair have to juggle their relationship over two countries. But the shot-stopper has said their relationship is in safe hands despite the distance, explaining in a recent interview with Sport Bild that Diletta is supportive of his move. He said: "Diletta even advised me to extend at Schalke. She thinks the club is great and she likes everything she has seen here so far. "Diletta also thinks that royal blue is the perfect choice for my sporting success. She is fully behind this decision." Karius, however, admitted it's tough not seeing Aria every day but FaceTime is saving the day. He added: 'But of course it's hard for me when I can't see my little daughter Aria for days. "But that's what FaceTime is for and we see each other regularly - as often as possible." 12 Diletta and Karius have been together since 2022 Credit: Instagram @dilettaleotta 12 Diletta's outfit caused a stir online Credit: Instagram @dilettaleotta 12 The presenter's dress was see-through from head to toe Credit: Instagram @dilettaleotta 12 Diletta has come under criticism for her outfits on DAZN too Credit: Getty 12 Loris Karius has lifted the lid on what it is like to be apart from Diletta Credit: Instagram / @dilettaleotta

‘Wall-to-wall action' spy thriller shoots up Amazon Prime Video top 10 ranking
Just days after Amazon Prime Video dropped Butterfly, the tale of international espionage has been climbing the streamer's top 10 ranking of film and TV. Set in the bustling South Korean city of Seoul, the six-part drama stars Daniel Dae Kim (of Lost and The Good Doctor) as the semi-retired gun-for-hire David Jung. Now sitting at the third spot on Amazon Prime, the show kicks off in a high-end hotel, where a visiting politician is under surveillance for a bold assassination attempt (think Day of the Jackal vibe) which is being organised by a shady and deep-pocketed private intelligence agency. The young assassin on the job is Rebecca, played by Reina Hardesty. Next on her kill list is the rogue and not-really-retired agent David, who's highly trained in field work. Adapted from a graphic novel by Arash Amel and Marguerite Bennett, it turns out that David and Rebecca are known to one another. The former intelligence agent is on a mission to protect his wife and daughter, while also reckoning with an incident from his past that comes back to haunt him. Ominous stuff. To view this video please enable JavaScript, and consider upgrading to a web browser that supports HTML5 video Kim has described Butterfly as 'the realisation of a longtime dream… to create a show that bridges two cultures I love deeply.' 'A central question in our entire season is, 'Who can you trust?',' Kim told USA Today. 'And just because they're family, can you trust them? The ending to our season really speaks to that question.' Kim was an executive producer on the show and has already teased what they could tackle with a second season, saying there's 'a lot more story to tell, and there are places for all of our characters to go that I find really intriguing'. He added: 'So let's hope people like it enough to make that happen.' So far so good on that front. The show has totted up a 71% rating on review aggregator Rotten Tomatoes, with several positive write-ups to its name. More Trending Collider praised the 'wall-to-wall action' in the show, while The AV Club wrote: 'With a tight focus and impressive performances, Butterfly's basic spycraft story feels both elevated and entertaining.' TV Guide described the show as 'slick' and a 'solid spy series'. However, not every review can be glowing and The Hollywood Reporter bemoaned the show 'needed more time in the chrysalis'. You be the judge! A version of this story was originally published on August 13. View More » Butterfly is available to stream on Amazon Prime Video. Got a story?
