Naidu inaugurates Vision Action Plan Units in 26 districts, 175 constituencies in A.P.
Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu announced that the establishment of Vision Action Plan Unit offices at all district and constituency levels marks a formal launch of the 'Swarna Andhra 2047' vision. Until now, MLAs had no dedicated government office at the constituency level, and that gap has now been filled through these units. Each unit will be staffed with a team of nine members, and ₹10 lakh has been allocated per office for its operations, he said.
Addressing MPs, MLAs, Collectors, and officials during a virtual inauguration from the State Secretariat, the Chief Minister called on them to drive the implementation of this vision forward. This initiative is a valuable opportunity for MLAs. The public representatives can make citizens active participants in the transformation journey, he said.
Mr. Naidu said that 'Talli Ki Vandanam' programme will be launched this month and free bus travel scheme for women from August 15. 'Our goal is to ensure 15 lakh Golden Families are adopted by mentors by August 15. A referral system will be introduced, and officials who facilitate more mentor-families will be rewarded,' he said.
Focus on services sector
MSME parks will be set up in each constituency and Ratan Tata Hubs in Amaravati. The government is focusing heavily on the services sector. As incomes grow, more welfare schemes can be implemented. Technology is being integrated into governance, which should be rooted in a humanitarian outlook, the Chief Minister said.
Mr. Naidu interacted via video conference with public representatives and officials across the 26 districts and 175 constituencies. He assured that each Vision Action Plan Unit will function in full capacity with proper funding and staffing. Each Constituency Vision Action Plan Unit will be chaired by the local MLA. A Special Officer will serve as the Executive Vice-Chairperson. Other members will include the local MLC, Municipal/Urban Panchayat Chairperson, RDO/Sub-Collector, Tahsildar, MPDO, and Municipal Commissioner. The MPDO will act as the Convener.
CM praises Union Minister
Union Minister Rammohan Naidu, who participated in the Vision Action Plan launch, announced that he would adopt 10 Golden Families under the P4 – Zero Poverty initiative. Mr. Naidu appreciated his commitment and urged other public representatives to follow suit and become mentors.
Ministers, MLAs, Collectors, and senior officials also took part in the event.

1 2 Vijayawada: Chief minister Chandrababu Naidu has set a target of completing 1,040 km of national highways (NH) in the current financial year with an outlay of 20,067 crore. In a review meeting with the officials of R&B, NHAI, and the contractors executing the road works on Monday, Naidu stated that all issues related to land acquisition, forest, and wildlife clearance should be resolved by the end of July. Naidu expressed dissatisfaction with the contractors for the delay in the execution of projects. He emphasised that no road construction should be delayed. Meanwhile, officials informed the chief minister that 770 km of roads were completed during the last fiscal year under NHAI and MoRTH with an investment outlay of 11,325 crore. The state has a total of 8,744 km of roads, including 4,406 km of NHAI roads, 641 km under PIU-MoRTH, and 3,697 km under NH(R&B). Currently, 3,483 km of roads are under construction across 144 projects under NHAI and MoRTH with an investment of Rs 76,856 crore. Some projects are set to begin soon, including 1,392 km under NHAI and 2,091 km under MoRTH. As part of the 'Mission Pothole-Free Roads' initiative launched by the chief minister in November last year with 860.81 crore, officials explained that 97% of the work was completed as of June 6. They stated that potholes have been filled, and repairs completed on 19,475 km of roads. Officials said the remaining road repairs are expected to be completed by July 31.

Andhra Pradesh home minister Anitha launches 2047 vision offices in Vizianagaram
Visakhapatnam: Home minister V Anitha on Monday inaugurated the Swarna Andhra 2047 vision document implementation unit at the Vizianagaram district collectorate. Later, chief minister Chandrababu Naidu participated virtually in the event from Amaravati. Speaking to the media on this occasion, Anitha said that unit offices have been established in all constituencies to achieve the goals outlined in the Swarna Andhra 2047 vision document. She said this as a step forward across all sectors. "The vision documents have already been prepared at the district, constituency, mandal, and secretariat levels in every district. These documents outline the development to be achieved over the next five years as well as the long-term goals to be attained by 2047. The action plan includes increasing per capita income, creating employment opportunities, developing infrastructure, and other related aspects of growth. The foundation for this initiative was laid within a year. A team of five members has been appointed for each constituency to oversee the implantation of the vision plan. The P4 policy is one approach to eliminating inequalities. The government's goal is to identify about 20 lakh guides to support the identified families," said Anitha.
