Our Yorkshire Farm fans 'can't wait' as Amanda and Clive Owen announce new TV series

Daily Mirror24-04-2025

Amanda and Clive Owen will be back on TV screens with a new series of Our Farm Next Door: Amanda, Clive and Kids
Fans of the hit show, Our Farm Next Door: Amanda, Clive and Kids, can't contain their excitement as news of the second series has been revealed.
The country life saga is set to return with Amanda and Clive – both initially famous for Our Yorkshire Farm – gracing our screens once more in a fresh chapter of the spin-off series, premiering on More4 on 29 April.

This forthcoming series follows the family's journey as they breathe new life into an abandoned property nearby.
With anticipation growing, production company Wise Owl Films teased: "The hard work continues...but there's also plenty of laughs in store."
They continue, promising: "Balmy sunny days, a winter wonderland, goats in coats and the return of Tony the Pony as we enjoy Summer to Spring in the new series of Our Farm Next Door: Amanda, Clive and Kids."

Social media channels are buzzing with eager comments, with one fan posting, "I'm so looking forward to this new series," and another adding, "Great to see the date of the start of the second series of this brilliant show."
Due to the popularity of Our Yorkshire Farm, audiences were captivated by Amanda and Clive's eventful lives and their large brood, which consisted of Raven, Reuben, Miles, Edith, Violet, Sidney, Annas, Clementine, and Nancy.
However, amid all the excitement, it's not forgotten that in 2022, the couple shared the somber news of ending their 22-year marriage.

Fans might have been gutted about the split, but the dynamic duo have kept their friendship alive, continuing to collaborate professionally and successfully share parenting responsibilities, reports Leeds Live.
Over the past three years, Clive and Amanda haven't shied away from discussing their separation publicly, making individual TV appearances to talk through the dissolution of their marriage.

On ITV's Lorraine, Amanda spoke candidly about her ongoing friendship with Clive: "We've got a lot of room and a lot of distractions. First and foremost we're farming.
"It's yet another diversification, we have our fingers in so many pies that it's just unbelievable. There is enough work to go around times a zillion."
"It's tough trying to spin all the plates, but that's why this programme is relatable, that's why we've been so popular with viewers. You don't always get the happy ending you want, but it's how you negotiate it."
Our Farm Next Door returns to More4 at 9pm on Tuesday, 29 April, and will be available to stream on Channel 4.

The 'super flattering' outfit is from one of her favourite fashion retailers and is currently on sale. Tuesday, June 3 saw the 54-year-old arrive at the office sporting a striking mango-coloured Karen Millen two-piece set as she declared 'the future is orange'. She donned the brand's Premium Linen Wide Leg Tailored Trouser and matching Premium Linen Structured Pleated Tailored Bandeau Top , and both items are now available with a 40% discount. Sharing her outfit details with her 2.5 million Instagram followers, Amanda raved about the 'beautifully soft' set. Despite their bold colour, they're surprisingly adaptable, with Karen Millen suggesting them as suitable attire for summer weddings or race day events. The top , meanwhile, offers a sculpted look that 'flatters the figure'. Its strapless design makes it ideal for summer soirees and garden parties, with the neckline providing the perfect canvas for statement necklaces, reports the Mirror . Elsewhere, the high street is offering plenty of mango inspo, proving it's a shade well worth incorporating into your wardrobe. PrettyLittleThing offers several budget-friendly options on their site. Similarly, Nobody's Child has embraced the colour trend with their Orange Broderie Anglaise Starlight Midi Dress available for £110. What truly won Amanda over was the Karen Millen co-ord set's crease-resistant material, meaning less hassle with ironing. She shared: "I thought oh, if I'm going to sit down all day it's going to crease up and look awful by the time I leave but look it's absolutely fine." What's more is that fashion fans can style the set in at least three ways to get more bang for their buck. Pairing the top with light blue jeans and heels could be stunning for cocktails or brunch, while teaming the trousers with a plain white tee and trainers offers a relaxed vibe, ensuring buyers can enjoy multiple outfits whether on holiday or in an office setting. Amanda is a keen admirer of Karen Millen, having chosen the brand on numerous occasions in the past. In May, she opted for the Cotton Stripe Belted Woven One Shoulder Top and paired it with the Stretch Denim Snaffle Trim Mini Skirt, both of which are still available. Bridge of Allan mum reveals what it was like behind the scenes on Location, Location, Location

A Bridge of Allan mum has revealed what it was like behind the scenes on popular TV property show Location, Location, Location. Lorraine Macleod starred on Wednesday's episode of the Channel 4 programme with her daughter Emma Carman. Hosts Phil Spencer and Kirstie Allsopp were trying to help the pair – who were living with Lorraine's parents – find a new home on a budget of £275,000. Despite offering well above the asking price for a cottage in Torbrex, Lorraine and Emma lost out on that house. However, a few weeks later, they bought a 'perfect' three-bedroom townhouse in Bridge of Allan for £255,000. Lorraine, 48, told The Courier that her mum convinced her to apply to be on Location, Location, Location. She said: 'We were struggling to find a property, and we were living at my mum and dad's place at that point and had been for around six months. 'Mum is a particularly huge fan of the show, and she said, 'You qualify, you're chain-free, you could do this'. 'I think it was her way of saying, 'Please leave!'' From there, it took months of screening to be approved to go on the Channel 4 show. The Stirling episode was filmed around a year ago. Lorraine told The Courier that about 90 properties were looked at before the final four were selected for the pair to view. It was also a huge surprise when Lorraine's daughter, Meg, returned from Australia. She and Emma had prioritised a three-bedroom property in their search so that the 24-year-old would have a place to stay when she got back to Stirling. Lorraine said: 'They were looking to get hold of Meg to include her by doing filming with her over Zoom while she was still in Australia. 'It wasn't working out and we weren't getting the timings right, etc, but actually, as it turned out, she was paying us a surprise visit and on her way home. 'That's why we couldn't get her. 'It was a bit of a shock when she walked through the door.' Meg returned to Australia in January and is 'living her best life' at Bondi Beach. Location, Location, Location also inspired Emma, 20, to start working for an estate agent alongside her law studies. While the pair lost out on the Torbrex cottage, the mum-of-two says it 'wasn't meant to be'. Lorraine said: 'We ended up with an incredible property that's really perfect in Bridge of Allan. 'What's for you won't go by you.' Lorraine says she is grateful to be close to her sister, who has young children, and to have a thriving high street on her doorstep. Meeting Phil and Kirstie was also a highlight for Lorraine. She added: 'They're really nice people. 'We thoroughly enjoyed being part of it. 'I would definitely recommend it if anybody else was looking for a little bit of help in that direction.'

Loose Women's Kaye Adams hints at major life change after saying 'I lost my job'

Loose Women star Kaye Adams has opened up about the impact of the ITV daytime cuts, saying she may have to move into a one-bedroom flat after "losing her job" Kaye Adams from Loose Women has hinted at the possibility of downsizing to a one-bedroom flat after joking about "losing her job" on the hit ITV programme. Last month, ITV revealed major shake-ups in their daytime TV line-up, resulting in the loss of over 220 jobs and cutbacks to popular shows such as Loose Women and Lorraine. ‌ The broadcasting schedule now sees Loose Women airing for only 30 weeks per year, with Lorraine Kelly's programme also reduced to a half-hour format. ‌ In a significant shift, Good Morning Britain will be produced by ITV News at ITN instead of ITV Studios, extending its broadcast from 6am to 9.30am every day. Despite the changes, ITV Studios will continue producing This Morning, Lorraine, and Loose Women, which are set to air from a new central London location, reports Glasgow Live. On her How to be 60 podcast alongside Karen MacKenzie, the 62 year old presenter discussed the potential need for drastic lifestyle adjustments following the network's announcement. Adams shared: "I agreed ages to do this programme called Yorkshire Auction House, the whole thing is they get people like me who are ready to get rid of big bits of furniture, downsize and they take them to an auction house and they sell them off and they film it." Kaye Adams revealed she hasn't told her partner Ian that a film crew will be arriving at their home to collect various items she's given away, saying: "They're coming tomorrow with the truck apparently and I haven't told Ian. For the last week, I keep trying to start the conversation with him 'by the way, there's a film crew coming and I've told them that they can have that sideboard, that chair and that desk. ‌ "I was deliberating about the baby grand piano, but if I move into a smaller place I don't know where I'm going to put it. And now I've lost my job, I might be in a one-bedroom flat somewhere." The presenter previously told the podcast that the cuts "came out of the blue "and that she had suffered a few "sleepless nights". She said: "I didn't anticipate it, which is probably stupid in retrospect. You get into a sort of rhythm of life." The situation led to a few restless nights, with Kaye explaining: "I had a couple of sleepless nights I have to say, because it's just like the rug's been pulled from under your feet – what has been familiar." ‌ Despite the challenges, Kaye tried to find a positive perspective: "It's going to have an impact. Lots of people will lose their jobs completely which is terrible. It's a huge change. But I gave myself a talking to and I listened to my own advice for once – change is hard, but it can be good." She continued to focus on looking forward, rather than dwelling on the past: "The past is a trap, don't fear the future – I'm telling myself all these things. And maybe this is the nudge that I needed to make some changes in my life and I'll just have to go with it." ‌ Meanwhile, Kaye's Loose Women colleague Nadia Sawalha also voiced her disapproval of the cuts, describing them as "absolutely brutal" to production staff and completely "out of the blue". Speaking on her YouTube channel, Nadia praised the success of Loose Women and the Lorraine show, hitting out at what she described as "misogynistic" talk concerning recent cuts. The star said: "What people don't realise at Loose Women is that we're self-employed, I am self-employed. Every contract is a new contract. "I could be let go tomorrow, I could be let go in five years, you don't know because we're not employees. "What's been brutal, absolutely brutal, over the last week, honestly I feel tearful about it, is that hundreds of people... are going to be made redundant out of the blue, these are all the people behind the scenes that support us in every way."
