Former 'Bachelorette' Hannah Brown missed this celeb's DM
Former 'Bachelorette' Hannah Brown, who has the most Instagram followers out of any member of the 'Bachelor' franchise, was crushed to learn she unintentionally ignored a message from a certain 'Mean Girl.'
'There was something going on with my DMs and I missed a DM from Lindsay Lohan,' Brown, 30, lamented to The Post.

'And I was devastated because Lindsay is our queen now. She's come back.'
When the reality star, who boasts 2.7 million Instagram followers, discovered Lohan's nearly two-year-old note, she felt too much time had passed — and never replied to the 'Freakier Friday' actress.

'It was 102 weeks when I finally saw it, so very upsetting. She wanted to talk,' said Brown, who joined 'Bachelor in Paradise' this season as its head of relations.
'I felt like I really missed the opportunity at that point.'
The brunette beauty, whose followers include Amy Schumer and Lana Del Rey, cannot explain how she became so popular on social media.
'I truly have no idea. People laugh at me … how I never know where my phone is. I'm not this innate content creator,' she said.

'But I think because I'm just myself, maybe that just shines through and people want to follow that. But yeah, I still don't know how that all happened, but I'm grateful for it.'

Brown, a Tuscaloosa native who was crowned Miss Alabama in 2018, took seventh place in Colton Underwood's season of 'The Bachelor' in 2019 and was cast as the leading lady on 'The Bachelorette' that same year.
She got engaged to singer-songwriter Jed Wyatt on the show, but called off the engagement shortly after, once she learned he had a girlfriend.

Now, Brown is getting ready for her wedding this month to Adam Woolard, whom she met on Hinge in 2021 despite 'living three houses down from each other' on the same block in Los Angeles.
'We had a picture on the same street on our profiles. So that's when we both started our conversations,' she said.

Woolard, who works in health care sales, did not recognize Brown from television, but did Google her name before they met in person for the first time.
'He was like, 'I did that 30 minutes before I went on the date. I wish I wouldn't have because then it made me nervous,'' Brown recalled.
Although she was in the midst of wedding planning, the bride-to-be couldn't pass up ABC's offer to join 'Paradise' for what she called 'a made-up job where I do just about everything' — including giving the contestants dating advice.
'I was so shocked when I got a call asking if I was interested. I felt it really aligned with the season of life that I'm in because I feel like I've done so much reflection on my relationships and how I would have done my experience different had I'd known what I know now,' she said.

'I watched 'White Lotus,' I've been a fan. And every time I see the concierge, I'm like, 'That is my job' — just pop up at random times. But no murder on this show.'

Richard Dreyfuss Shares Heartbreaking Health Update, Cancels Appearance At SharkCon
Legendary actor has shared an emotional health update with fans, revealing he's too ill to attend this year's SharkCon, where he was scheduled to appear in celebration of the 50th anniversary of "Jaws." The 77-year-old, who famously played marine biologist Matt Hooper in the classic, appeared visibly unwell in a video posted to SharkCon's official Instagram on Sunday. Filmed from a hospital bed and wrapped in a "Jaws" blanket, Richard Dreyfuss struggled to speak as he apologized to fans and explained his condition. 'Hello fellow cons,' he began. 'I am very, very sorry to tell you that I've been diagnosed with, viral, er… What is it?' His wife, Svetlana Erokhin, could be heard off-screen clarifying, 'Viral bronchitis,' which Richard repeated with some difficulty. 'I've been told by my doctors I cannot fly and I would have to fly five hours to get there,' Dreyfuss continued. 'I'm terribly sorry because I had planned to be there [at SharkCon] and I had been looking forward to it, but I am unable to do so. I don't want to get anyone else sick, and I don't want to get sicker myself.' Despite his discomfort, the "Jaws" star kept his sense of humor. 'I want you all to feel very sorry for me, and very sorry for yourselves. I'm in a lot of pain and that has to come first. My health.' His wife chimed in warmly, 'And such great fans!' to which Richard added, 'She's right, she knows how to do this… So good luck, happy health, happy con. Bye!' I don't want to talk about it,' he told the USA TODAY Network. Still, Dreyfuss agreed to discuss the film ahead of a speaking engagement in New Jersey that included a special screening of the movie. Though he's often asked about behind-the-scenes drama, Dreyfuss said his favorite moment from the film is Robert Shaw's chilling monologue about the U.S.S. Indianapolis. 'That is without a doubt my favorite scene,' he shared. And while pop culture has long speculated about a feud between Dreyfuss and Shaw, the actor strongly denied it ever happened, one reason he disliked "The Shark Is Broken," a Broadway play written by Shaw's son that dramatizes a supposed rivalry. 'I did not like the play because it based itself on a feud that never happened,' he said. As for the shoot itself? Dreyfuss remembers one overwhelming feeling: boredom. 'You spend most of your time waiting, and doing nothing but waiting,' he recalled. 'If there's a sailboat in the background, you have to wait until that sailboat is gone… and then if you finally wait that out, another sailboat pops up.' Long days on Martha's Vineyard were plagued by delays, technical malfunctions with the mechanical sharks, and endless stretches of inaction. At the time, Dreyfuss doubted the film would ever come together. 'I thought it was going to be a disaster,' he said. 'I know I went on at least one talk show where I said this is a total disaster. And then I went back on that same show and pronounced myself the stupidest actor in America. When I saw the film all put together, I realized I was a jerk.' Though he may not want to talk about it, Dreyfuss' performance, alongside Roy Scheider and Robert Shaw, cemented his place in cinematic history. And five decades later, "Jaws" continues to captivate audiences around the world.

Instagram Trial Reels Are Now Available to More Creators

If you're looking for a way to boost your IG performance, Trial Reels could be the thing you need. Instagram first launched Trial Reels last December, providing a means for creators to essentially test whether their Reels will resonate with a broader audience, before sharing them to everyone in the app. As you can see in this example sequence, Trial Reels are shown to a selection of users who don't follow your profile, which can give you early insight into the likely performance of your Reel. Which is the key consideration: Trial Reels are not displayed to your followers, either in the main Feed or via the Reels tab. The idea is that this will give you an unbiased assessment of content quality (without your friends and family skewing the data), while at the same time, it can also help you reach a broader audience by exposing your content to more people who you aren't connected to in the app. Which some creators are now using as a growth hack. Because your Trial Reels are only displayed to people who don't follow you, you can use this to re-post your older Reels as well, which can help you get more value out of your existing content. Instagram doesn't (seemingly) have a problem with this, and it could be a means to maximize your content efforts, while also ensuring more reach. Which, of course, everybody wants. So what do you need to qualify for Trial Reels? Late last week, IG chief Adam Mosseri confirmed that Trial Reels are now available to all creators with at least 1,000 followers and an account set to 'Public.' If you meet these criteria, you'll be able to select Trial Reels within the Reels composer, via the toggle at the top of the detail screen. As per IG: 'Before sharing, tap the toggle to turn on 'Trial'. After sharing your trial reel, you can find it by visiting your profile where it will appear alongside any drafts you have. Only you will be able to see that your reel is a trial. Only you will be able to see that your reel is a trial. It will not be shown to other people on your profile unless you later decide to share it with everyone, and your followers won't see the trial reel in their feed or Reels tab.' Around 24 hours after launching your trial, you'll be able to view key engagement metrics for your clip, including views, likes, comments and shares, so you can get a sense of how it's performing. You'll also be able to see comparative insights against your previous trials. It could be a valuable consideration, providing an actual means to get more reach for your Reels content in the app, among users who you're not connected to. For free. Meta doesn't tend to allow free reach like this for long, so it may close this loophole at some stage. But right now, it could be a worthy consideration for your strategy.
