Sarri returns as Lazio coach
Details of the deal were not disclosed by the club but Italian news agency Adnkronos reported that the former Chelsea and Juventus manager Sarri has rejoined Lazio on a two-year contract with an option for a third season.
Sarri resigned as Lazio coach in March 2024, almost three years into his tenure. They finished seventh in Serie A in 2023-24, having finished second the previous season.
"Maurizio Sarri has returned home. His return is a choice of heart, conviction and vision," club president Claudio Lotito said in a statement.
"With him we want to resume a path interrupted too soon, aware that together we can bring back enthusiasm, identity and ambition. Welcome back to your home Commander."

"The player gives 100% because he is under contract. We don't have to say thank you every day, he is getting a few pounds every week," Glasner told reporters on Wednesday. "Many of you were surprised he and Marc (Guehi) started against Chelsea, you may be surprised they start tomorrow, but they are committed to the team. "I feel like it was a very positive week," Sinner, who won the Cincinnati title last year, said on Monday. "Making finals of a Masters event, it's always an amazing achievement. So we'll keep going, keep pushing. I have some points where I need to improve if I want to go far in the U.S. Open. And it was a good test this week, trying to understand where my level is." LONDON - Cameroon defender Jackson Tchatchoua, hailed as the fastest player in Serie A last season, has joined Premier League Wolverhampton Wanderers from Italian side Hellas Verona on a five-year deal. Wolves said the deal for the Belgium-born right wing-back included a 12-month option. No financial details were given but the BBC put a €12.5 million (S$18 million) price tag on the signing. Tchatchoua was recorded hitting a speed of 36.3kmh last season, according to the club, and scored two goals with three assists. The 23-year-old is Wolves' fourth new signing of the transfer window.
