Patriots Legend Rob Gronkowski Tees Off On Bill Belichick After Report

Rob Gronkowski is not exactly one to take the moral when it comes to dating women, as the future Hall of Fame tight end was known as quite the party-boy back in his playing days for the New England Patriots.
However, after the seemingly unending news cycle concerning his former coach, Bill Belichick, and Belichick's new paramour, Jordon Hudson, even Gronk felt comfortable to chip in.

Speaking to radio hosts Fred Toucher and Rob Hardy of the "Toucher and Hardy" on 985 The Sports Hub, Gronkowski revealed his thoughts on the latest updates in the Belichick/Hudson saga, after reports that Hudson had been barred from the UNC football practice facility, something that UNC subsequently denied.

After being asked whether the 4 x All-Pro found the situation funny, Gronkowski replied, "It is, you know. And back of your head too you're just thinking to yourself as well: when you were on the Patriots, the whole goal was to eliminate all the distractions that can possibly happen while you are on the team."
"And don't bring those distractions to the team and in the locker room. And we're just looking down at the program in North Carolina and it feels like there are just distractions 24-7 down there; there is no football talk as well."

The 4 x Super Bowl champion also noted that he was looking forward to football season and watching how the team played when they get on the field for real in August.
As for Belichick, if you are getting clowned by Gronkowski - even jokingly, things are probably not looking good.

Patriots coach Mike Vrabel shares update on WR Stefon Diggs

New England Patriots coach Mike Vrabel shared an update on wide receiver Stefon Diggs when speaking with media members ahead of mandatory minicamp. The four-time Pro Bowl wide receiver has been working through the offseason program as a limited participant due to the ACL injury he suffered with the Houston Texans last season. He was seen at OTAs running drills and helping to coach up his teammates from the sideline. Advertisement Along with contributing on the stat sheet, the Patriots are hoping Diggs can help bring the younger receivers along in their development. Vrabel is pleased with how Diggs has remained engaged despite being limited with the ACL injury. "He's trying to figure out where everything is and what his role is and making sure that as we add those situations—the third down, the no-huddle and red zone—that he's staying up on it, working hard in his rehab," said Vrabel, via NFL Network's Tom Pelissero. "Certain drills he can be out there and there's certain drills that he won't be, but I think he's engaged and I like his energy." Diggs stepping in and contributing right away as a locker room leader is a great sign for the Patriots. There are currently 12 receivers on the roster with plenty of untapped talent. It could be a game-changer if Diggs could get some of those players going, including second-year wideouts Ja'Lynn Polk and Javon Baker. Advertisement Sure, the Patriots needed a top receiving weapon, but they also needed a leader in that room with the resume of a true No. 1 receiver. They might have found both with Diggs. Bills Offense Goes Back To Square 1 In Development

Bills Offense Goes Back To Square 1 In Development originally appeared on Athlon Sports. The Buffalo Bills have one of the best offensive units in the entire NFL The reigning MVP in Josh Allen is back, and he's got a collection of solid receivers, and a 1,000-yard runner (assuming James Cook eventually shows up), and a top-five offensive line are all part of the Bills' dominant offense. Advertisement As the team prepares for another year together - and a Super Bowl push that begins with this week's minicamp - the Bills have a difficult task. ... a hump to overcome. In short? It's easy for a talented offense to get stale after so many years together. It's why their play-caller, Joe Brady, will be under immense pressure this season. Brady has a plan to keep the offense from falling into that trap, though. And it starts with pushing the entire group back to Square One through offseason workouts. "I think a problem every coach faces every year is if you think you can just pick up where you left off, you lose sight of the details, you lose sight of the how, you lose sight of what got you to that point," Brady said. "There are elements of what we did last year that we obviously need to continue to sustain, but there are so many elements we've got to get better at." Advertisement Buffalo has always been one of the more efficiently explosive offensive units in the league over the last few years. They have gone toe-to-toe with the best ... and won more than their share. The Bills believe themselves to be Super Bowl contenders. Time will tell if that is the case in 2025. And going back to Square One is part of that plan.
