Donald Trump makes his return to Disney World ride with new speaking role

Donald Trump has made a centerstage return to Disney World's freshly reopened Hall of Presidents - with a new and improved look from his first term. The animatronic political attraction in Magic Kingdom discreetly opened its doors on Sunday morning after being closed for five months. It shuttered on January 20 after Trump was inaugurated into his second term. The display shuts down after every presidential transition so Disney can update the show. Disney World did not announce the well-known display's sudden reopening - leaving both guests and employees confused. Cast members inside the Hall of Presidents' theater on Sunday morning told The Park Place they had no clue the show was returning and only found out when they came to work. Other than Trump's animatronic having a speaking role, no major changes have been made to the mechanized performance. The 20-minute demonstration begins with a narrated history lesson featuring all the country's former commander-in-chiefs, with Joe Biden's robot seen on stage behind Trump. A robotic Abraham Lincoln recites the Gettysburg Address, followed by a speech from George Washington. This time around, those invested in Disney's portrayal of the president have noticed the robotic figure has been upgraded to bear more resemble to the real life Trump The realistic Trump figure, situated in the middle of all the presidents, then gives his oath of office speech while mimicking Trump's hand gestures and mannerisms. He states: 'I, Donald John Trump, do solemnly swear that I will faithfully execute the office of President of the United States and will, to the best of my ability, preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States, so help me God.' When Trump was elected for his first term, people accused the theme park of creating a Hillary Clinton animatronic and sloppily switching it to Trump after she lost the 2016 election. Critics on pointed out how the robot meant to look like Trump looked far more like Clinton. 'Here (sic) me out on this. Clearly Disney had Hilary's (sic) robot ready to go and then had to try to make it look like Trump,' one user wrote on X, which was Twitter at the time. 'Don't hate me. This is just a necessary and painful fact we all need to deal with.' 'The more I see of Disney's 'Hall of Presidents' Trump, the more I'm convinced they made a Hillary one first and had to redo it,' another user agreed. 'Disney was so sure Hillary would win they just made a Hillary robot for their hall of presidents and when Trump won they just put a trump skin over it and it looks like something straight from hell,' someone joked. This time around, those invested in Disney's portrayal of the president have noticed the figure has been upgraded to better resemble to the real life Trump. 'Damn. I will miss Hilary (sic) Trump,' one person joked on X, as another added 'I guess that's an improvement.' 'AA [audio animatronic] was fixed and looks much much better now,' one man agreed. 'Maybe they could update the animatronic to better look like him. The last one they did was poorly done,' a user, who had not yet seen the new version, asserted.

Olivia Rodrigo goes (almost) unnoticed dancing in Glastonbury crowd ahead of headline slot

She is set to headline Glatonbury's Sunday night on the Pyramid stage. But on Saturday, Olivia Rodrigo, made sure she fully immersed herself in the festival spirit as she was spotted sat on top of her boyfriend Louis Partridge's shoulders, singing her heart out to Common People during Pulp's surprise set. The Disney star turned pop-punk singer, 22, appeared in high spirits as she belted out the iconic lyrics, whilst waving her arms about. Olivia kept it casual as she wore a black and white sleeveless vest, which she paired with leopard print shorts and a hunter wellies, with white over-the knee socks. Despite trying her best not to stand out from the crowd one person who did spot her in the crowd was none other than Radio 1's Greg James. Taking to his Instagram story, Greg could be seen singing along with fellow Radio 1 DJ Huw Stephens. As the pair sang along, videoing themselves and the crowd, Greg wrote over the top: 'Watching Pulp with Olivia Rodrigo'. He then panned the camera round where Olivia could be seen, just a stones throw away from him, with the crowd seemingly blissfully unaware of the headliner's presence. Greg, dressed in a Varsity style shirt, baseball cap and sunglasses, then subtly pointed to Olivia and jokingly asked his followers: 'Who's that?' Olivia, 22, last performed at Worthy Farm back in 2022 on the smaller Other Stage. It is thought she has been brought in this year to appeal to a much younger audience. During her performance in 2022, she brought out special guest Lily Allen with the pair singing Lily's 2009 hit F**k You in response to the US Supreme Court 's decision to overturn Roe v Wade. At the time Olivia took to The Other Stage at Worthy Farm where she said she was 'devastated and terrified' by the ruling which ended the constitutional right to abortion in the US, meaning individual states could decide whether abortion can be made illegal. She said: 'I'm devastated and terrified [by the ruling] and so many women and girls are going to die because of this and I wanted to dedicate this next song to the five members of the Supreme Court who showed us at the end of the day they truly don't give a s*** about freedom.' After her words prompted huge applause from the audience, Olivia went on to address the Supreme Court justices individually, saying: 'This song goes out to the justices Samuel Alito, Clarence Thomas, Neil Gorsuch, Amy Coney Barrett, and Brett Kavanaugh.' Fellow pop star Lily, 37, was seen giving the middle finger as she stood on stage, before saying: 'We hate you guys!' as the pair launched into the expletive-filled song. Since that appearance, Olivia has amassed almost 40million followers on Instagram and won three Grammys. She also headlined British Summertime festival on Friday night and surprised fans when she welcomed superstar guest Ed Sheeran on stage during her set at Hyde Park. The American songstress, sent fans wild and joined the singer songwriter, 34, in a duet of his mega 2011 hit The A Team. Together the pair strummed their guitars while belting out the iconic lyrics while the 65,000 strong audience cheered in delight. Olivia looked incredible on stage in a skimpy metallic crop top and matching mini skirt while belting out her hits. Her headline BST performance brought the crowds out to The Amex Experience which had been given a full Olivia Rodrigo makeover for the show. Fans queued around the House to get their hands on exclusive purple Olivia Rodrigo water bottles, and were able to try Olivia inspired SOUR Grape soda, filled with all of her favourite flavours at the brand new Soda Bar. As fans walked into the festival they were also greeted by Olivia's GUTS World Tour bus presented by American Express, which had travelled around London letting her fans see tour outfits, hear an exclusive message from Olivia and snap photos with her iconic red megaphone.
