Nick Cannon: 'Bre Tiesi is an amazing mom and amazing businesswoman'

Nick Cannon says Bre Tiesi is an 'an amazing mom and amazing businesswoman'.
The 44-year-old father-of-12 shares son Legendary Love, three, with the Selling Sunset star and Nick is proud of how she has handled herself on the Netflix reality TV show.
He told PEOPLE: 'She's built for this. She's a rockstar. She's a superstar. She's an amazing mom, amazing businesswoman and truly like a boss.'
'I mean when you see her on Selling Sunset and even how she moves on her own, you know, it's content, [but] it's not a façade. She don't need [advice], I need to get some advice from her.'
Nick shares his 12 children with six different women, including Bre, 34, and his former wife Mariah Carey, 56, and his and Bre's unconventional relationship has caused some issues with her castmates on Selling Sunset.
Her co-star Chelsea Lazkani said on season six: 'I find Nick Cannon and Bre's relationship rather off-putting. Ultimately the way I live my life is very different to her as a Christian, so I don't know if we will ever be super, super close friends."
Chelsea also told Entertainment Tonight: 'I think she wants to kill me, and I want to stay alive for a very long time. So, you know, I just think I'll keep my distance from her.
'I mean, I get it. She doesn't like me. And some of the things I said were very hurtful. So, I completely acknowledge that.'
Bre previously told PEOPLE: 'You know, as I said on the show, I'm perfectly fine in a room with a bunch of b****** that hate me. I could not care less. It seems more like a you problem, to be honest."

Meghan, Duchess of Sussex wished a happy birthday by her As Ever brand

Meghan, Duchess of Sussex's As Ever brand has wished "the woman behind it all" a happy birthday. The royal turned 44 on Monday (04.08.25) and has marked the occasion by releasing new wine products through her lifestyle brand and delivering a gushing social media tribute to herself via the company's social media. A new Instagram post from As Ever is captioned: "Celebrating the woman behind it all. "She pours her heart, vision and magic touch into every detail, and today, we raise a glass to her! Happy birthday to our founder." The former Suits actress - who was known as Meghan Markle before she married Prince Harry in 2018 - also revealed on her birthday that As Ever's signature pink wine will be available to customers on Tuesday (05.08.25), making the tipple's first restock since it was unveiled in the brand's June product drop. An email message reads: "Today, our founder celebrates another year (Happy Birthday, Meghan!) and tomorrow, we're raising a glass to celebrate our newest release! "We are thrilled to share that our 2024 Napa Valley Rose is available tomorrow, Tuesday August 5." The note added: "Harvested under the California sun, this dazzling vintage embodies everything we love - it's where timeless elegance meets the spirit of summer. "We've worked thoughtfully to bring these exceptional bottles to you, and more of your other favourite As Ever products are also being restocked shortly. There is so much to celebrate, and we're honoured to share these special moments with you." Meghan and Harry - who have children Prince Archie, six, and Princess Lilibet, four, together - stepped back as senior working royals in 2020 and moved from the UK to California but it was reported recently that the pair's lucrative Netflix contract, said to be worth around $100 million, will not be renewed once it expires in September. The pair worked on a number of shows for the streamer - including the tell-all documentary Harry and Meghan and the Duchess' lifestyle series With Love, Meghan - but both parties feel that the arrangement has come to a natural end. A source told The Sun newspaper: "The deal is done; no more shows will be made. Netflix feel they've got all they can from the couple... They're not unhappy with how things turned out — they got those initial hits, and produced one of the most talked-about shows of all time. "There's no animosity from either side. Things have just run their course." Another insider told the Daily Mail newspaper: "They're just waiting for the credits to roll. They're letting it expire without drama. There's no appetite for anything new."

Sharon Stone claims she had a heated 'argument' with Michael Douglas before Basic Instinct

Sharon Stone had an "argument" with Michael Douglas before they starred in Basic Instinct together. The pair featured as the leads in the 1992 erotic thriller but she recalled that they had previously got into a row at the Cannes Film Festival which meant they didn't do a screen test together. In an interview with Business Insider, Sharon said: "(He) did not want to put his bare a** out on the screen with an unknown - and I understood that. "He wouldn't even test with me, but that was also for a different reason: We had an argument prior to that." The 67-year-old actress continued: "A bunch of us were all sitting, and he was talking about someone and their kids. I really, really knew this person he was talking about. "So I said something and he responded to me, saying, 'What the f*** do you know?' It was in regard to a father-child relationship. "Clearly, it triggered him. So he screams this at me across a whole group of people. And I'm not the person who goes, 'Oh, excuse me, superstar.' I pushed back my chair and said to him, 'Let's step outside.' That's how we first met. "I explained to him what the f*** I knew about this family he was speaking about, and that I was best friends with the children and the parent. And then we parted, I wouldn't say as best friends, but amicably. "So, fast forward to casting Basic Instinct, I don't think he wanted me to be his co-star." However, Michael's representative Allen Burry claims that the Wall Street star, 80, is "very surprised" by Sharon's claims as "he doesn't remember any argument in that timeframe" between the pair. Burry told People: "He actually only remembers seeing and meeting Sharon for the first time when he saw (director) Paul Verhoeven's screen test of her for Basic Instinct and (Michael) said, 'Absolutely, she's the one.'" He added that Douglas "definitely spent time" with Stone at Cannes but that was when they were promoting Basic Instinct. Burry said: "And by the time they'd done the movie, they were friends." Sharon added that the previously fraught dynamic between the duo "worked great" once they got on set as she was "not rattled" by his fiery temper. The Casino star said: "That was interesting for the character because Michael has a temper, and I didn't care. That worked well in our dynamic." Sharon stressed that the argument is in the past and that the pair are now good pals. She said: "Eventually, we became the greatest of friends, to this day. "I admire him tremendously."

Nick Cannon doesn't want daughters to date men like him

Nick Cannon hopes his daughters don't date people like him when he's older. The Masked Singer presenter - who has 14-year-old twins Moroccan and Monroe with ex-wife Mariah Carey; Golden, eight, Powerful, four, and Rise, two, with Brittany Bell; three-year-old twins Zillion and Zion and Beautiful, two, with Abby De La Rosa; Legendary, two, with Bre Tiesi, Onyx, two, with LaNisha Cole; and two-year-old Halo with Alyssa Scott, the mom of his late son Zen who died aged five months in 2021 - admitted having girls has made him change his own ways because he wants to be a good example to them. He told Extra: 'When you have five daughters and you're like, 'All right, I at least want to be able to be true and honest,' but like I can't live the same life that I've always been living and attempt to right my wrongs in that sense of where like hopefully my daughters learn from my mistakes and not date people like their dad." The 44-year-old star believes the future will see people turning to robots and AI to find love and companionship. He said: 'I think everybody's about to start dating robots. Between AI and the technology of making things we are definitely in the Total Recall/ Terminator-era where people are just sick of humans and they going to design the love that they want… I joke, but we are like right there.' Nick "absolutely" believes in love at first sight but doesn't know if it forms the basis for lasting relationships. He said: 'It's chemical though… when your endorphins and someone else's energy kind of collide, I think you should act on it. I think you should dive deep into it. 'I don't know if love at first sight always equates to longevity. 'The best type of love is when it just naturally and gradually happens and that usually will have longevity because you didn't rush into anything. As they say, fools rush in.' Nick recently admitted fathering five of his children in one year was down to "careless activity". He told Vulture: "It was also a little bit of, like, OK, God, how did I have five kids in one year? "Probably careless activity."
