With just over 20 minutes on the clock, Totti received the ball just inside the centre circle after having the ball played to him from the right side.

However, after just one bounce Totti did the unthinkable and smashed the ball towards goal with his right foot on the halfway line.
The marksman had noticed former Parma and
Frey was backpedalling frantically but had to jump to try and stop the ball from sailing into the net.
However, Totti's shot had directed itself to the very top corner of the goal and there was ultimately nothing the Frenchman could do to keep it out as it snuck just under the bar.

Frey managed to get fingertips to it, but only pushed in onto the woodwork before it hit the back of the 45-year-old and fell into the net as the goalie stumbled into the side netting.
A huge roar went up from the crowd as they took to their feet to give Totti a standing ovation for the brilliant effort.

Totti's team-mates rushed to him to celebrate the extraordinary goal, with one of them seen jumping on his back.
Even Frey, despite his humiliation of conceding from the halfway line, had to respect the audacity of the strike and was seen with a wide smile as he emerged from the goal.
The clash between the two teams, with Totti's Rabona coming up against Sombrero, ended with 14 goals as the match ended 7-7.
One-club man Totti retired from professional football in 2017.
However, the Serie A icon had joked he could still play at the top level and revealed one club - believed to be Cesc Fabregas' Como - had tried to coax him back into playing.
Totti had said: "No, it's not a joke. I took it a bit seriously, so let's see. There are one or two teams who have asked about me.

While Totti's goal record could arguably have been better, he had a more than stellar assist record with the national team with 25, including four at the World Cup in 2006 - two of which came in the quarter-finals.

'Hopefully everyone will have their time to shine' - Hallgrimsson looks to strike balance against
Ireland's rookies will get their time to shine against Luxembourg but Heimir Hallgrimsson won't compromise the need to finish the World Cup preparations on a high. Back-to-back wins over Bulgaria in March were followed by an impressive showing against Senegal on Friday when Ireland came within eight minutes of beating the nation ranked 19th in the world. Those numerals are opposite for the second part of the double-header. Luxembourg may be 91st in Fifa's rankings but their sole victory in the last 11 games was a notable one, slaying Sweden in March. Luc Holtz's side are in the news locally due to the manager continuing to select Gerson Rodrigues despite the star striker being convicted of domestic violence against his former girlfriend Emily Boland. Protesters in attendance at Friday's defeat to Slovenia were forcibly removed, with the federation subsequently issuing an apology for the heavy-handedness. Hallgrimsson doesn't intend overhauling his team in the final audition for the qualifiers kicking off against Hungary on September 6. They also face newly crowned Uefa Nations League champions Portugal and Armenia in a six-match sprint campaign from September to November. Josh Honohan, John Patrick Finn and Max O'Leary are in line to make their debuts. 'The purpose of this camp was to look at new faces and we will make some changes, even though we were really happy with the performance against Senegal,' said the Icelander. 'Hopefully everyone will have their time to shine but we'd like to keep some consistency too and build on what we've been doing well. 'I think we probably played one of our best games as a team and we don't want to miss that in the game against Luxembourg 'As everybody knows, this World Cup campaign comes and goes really quickly.' Repeating the good aspects from the Senegal game and eradicating some of the lapses that cost them late on is the manager's prioriy. 'We are growing as a unit,' he asserted. 'We are saying the same thing over and over again, probably boring for the players to listen to because we are saying the same thing over and over and I have said before that it's basics first before details. 'The excitement comes from that. We can feel that we are growing every time we play. 'Being comfortable against Senegal was one step taken. We can have the same against Luxembourg, so it shouldn't be up and down performances. 'Consistent performances are what we need. 'Luxembourg could have scored more goals against Sweden, so I wouldn't look at it as a shock to the nation if we would not get a good result here. 'A win here would be really good for us at this stage. I hope nobody is taking them lightly.'

He took up running 70 years ago - now 'sprinting monk' finally has gold medal
An elderly monk has shown off his gold medal for winning his first athletic championship at the age of 81 - after 70 years of trying. Dubbed the 'sprinting monk', Father John Gribben - inspired by the film Chariots of Fire - ran the 60m, 200m, and 400m sprint races in aid of poor children in Africa. He has now been pictured with gold medal he won in a 400 metre race - fulfilling an ambition that has spanned decades. Father John, originally from Belfast, first took up running 70 years ago in the 1950s. The pious pacer, said he almost collapsed at the time, but has flourished in the last ten years and now takes two buses every Saturday morning to attend a Parkrun event in Huddersfield, West Yorkshire. He has also raised £6,000 (€7,100) for the Tariro charity, which helps young people in Zimbabwe. In February, Father John beat out the competition to take gold in the 80+ category at the British Masters Indoor Track & Field Championships at the Lee Valley Athletics Centre in London. He completed the race in two minutes, three seconds, 190 milliseconds. Despite the unexpected win, Father John says he doesn't believe there was any divine intervention behind his win, instead crediting it to his hard work and the support others have given him. He said: 'I'd hate to think that I was using something that gave me an advantage of the others other than my training and my strength. But, the encouragement that comes from my faith is a great help. There have been bad nights, or nights when I've had too much to eat, when I'm not in the mood for going out for a run. 'I just say to my saviour, 'if you go with me, I'll go running', and then I start to get my gear on and go out. As to being given an extra surge of energy or strength, I'm not sure that would be fair.' The sprightly monk continues to take two buses every Saturday to attend his local Parkrun before heading home to his Monastery – taking time to stop for a bacon butty first. As well as his gold in the 400 metres, Father John also achieved bronze in the 60 metres with a time of 13.16 seconds, and in the 200 metres with a time of 47.66 seconds. Father John joined the Community of the Resurrection in Mirfield, West Yorks., in 1979, after moving from Belfast. He discovered the monastery on a visit to Liverpool in 1966, while he was watching Brazil play in the World Cup, and was taken by its beauty he made the move 13 years later as there was a lack of Anglican churches in Ireland. He's since devoted his life to prayer, worship, and ministry. For the last 10 years, he's found solace in running and keeps fit by training six days a week, involving a mixture of running around the monastery, at his local Parkrun and hitting the gym.
