Ginny & Georgia Season 3 called out for obvious age jump; fans can't ignore Austin's sudden glow-up: 'That's not a 9-year-old'
Austin's growth spurt is hard to ignore in Ginny & Georgia season 3
Austin is supposed to be nine years old in the story, but Diesel La Torraca, the actor who plays him, is now 14 in real life. Since there's no time skip in the show, his sudden transformation is pretty obvious on screen. Diesel even acknowledged this in interviews, saying the team used tricks like slouching, lowering his voice, and standing on apple boxes to make him look younger. Still, viewers could instantly tell that the young kid from previous seasons is now clearly a teen.
Fans are having a field day with the age jump.
The casting mismatch didn't go unnoticed. Fans quickly took to social media to react to the change, and many of the posts have been hilariously spot-on. Some fans joked that Austin now looks old enough to have kids of his own, while others compared the situation to sitcoms where characters age overnight.
One user wrote, "I can finally say that #GinnyandGeorgia s3 is SO good. The work Brianne Howey is doing is Emmy-worthy. Felix Mallard is another standout. Show has leveled UP. Loved it start to finish (but we have to time jump eventually because Austin is about to be a 5th-grade senior citizen)".

Another added, "Ginny and Georgia season 3 is kind of killing me. Like, who thought it would be a good idea to have a show take place in the same year but span over 3 seasons?" Austin's voice is actually killing me. Like, that's a middle schooler, not a 9-year-old."

A third frustrated fan mentioned, "Netflix needs to just start cancelling shows if they're going to take literal years to start filming a new season, lmfaoooo. The time jump from season 2 to 3 of Ginny & Georgia was literally supposed to be like 3 days. Austin went from a 9-year-old to a 15-year-old in a WEEKEND?"

"Help, I can't watch season 3 of Ginny and Georgia because of the obvious puberty Austin is going through. He's trying to talk in a high-pitched voice, but it's not working," a fourth fan highlighted.
Help i can't watch season 3 of ginny and georgia cause of the obvious puberty austin is going through 😭😂 hes trying to talk in a high pitched voice but it's not working
Diesel La Torraca didn't shy away from the chatter about his glow-up. He posted a playful TikTok with co-star Connor Laidman, poking fun at how much both of them had grown since their last scenes. 'Y'all think I grew up,' he joked in the caption, showing just how noticeable the changes were for both Austin and Zach.
About Ginny and Georgia
The series first launched in 2021 and centres on Georgia, a young mom trying to start over with her two kids in the quiet town of Wellsbury, Massachusetts. The main cast includes Brianne Howey, Antonia Gentry, Diesel La Torraca, Felix Mallard, Sara Waisglass, Scott Porter, and Raymond Ablack.
Season 3 took longer than expected to arrive. Although Season 2 wrapped filming in early 2022, the next chapter was delayed due to the writers' and actors' strikes. Production didn't resume until much later, making the return feel even more overdue for longtime fans.

Love Is Blind UK season 2 finale: Katisha and Javen's romance tested as Demola stirs drama — can they make it to the altar?
Love Is Blind UK season 2 finale: Love Is Blind UK season 2 is keeping Netflix viewers glued to their screens, and the drama is only getting stronger as the experiment moves from blind dates to real-life tests. Hosted by real-life couple Matt and Emma Willis, the season premiered on 13 August 2025 and has been unfolding in weekly batches. Instead of dropping all at once, the staggered release has given fans plenty of time to speculate, gossip, and debate about which couples will actually make it to the altar. Love Is Blind UK: What the show is about The concept is the same one that made the U.S. version a phenomenon. Thirty singles from across the UK and Ireland step into the 'pods,' where they date and connect without ever seeing each other face-to-face. They can only hear each other's voices, which forces them to build connections based on personality and conversation. If the bond feels strong enough, proposals happen right there in the pods. After engagements, the show sends the couples on a retreat to test chemistry in person, then moves them into apartments in London to see how they handle real-world living. Everything builds up to a wedding day decision: say 'I do' or walk away. Love Is Blind UK season 2: What has happened so far? The first episodes focused on the pod connections and the first wave of proposals. The standout engagements include Kal & Sarover, who seemed deeply in sync during pod dates; Jed & Bardha, whose quick connection led to one of the earliest proposals; and Kieran & Megan, who surprised viewers with their intense chemistry. Meanwhile, other storylines have been less smooth. Katisha & Javen are one of the most talked-about pairs this season, thanks to a rocky journey that's been overshadowed by a love triangle involving Demola. By episode 5, when all the couples meet in person at a group event, the cracks between Katisha and Javen become more obvious. Javen openly admitted he still hasn't said 'I love you,' sparking doubts about their future. Katisha, on the other hand, made it clear she doesn't want to settle for less than full commitment. The cast also includes singles like Ashleigh Berry, Billy Jervis, and others who brought their personalities into the pods but didn't all walk away engaged. Fans have been quick to pick favourites, and social media is already buzzing with speculation about who will make it down the aisle and who will bow out before the final episode. Love Is Blind UK season 2 finale release date and time The finale will officially drop on Wednesday, 27 August 2025, continuing the story as couples move from pod fairytales to real-life pressures. Release times were as follows: 12:00 am PT / 3:00 am ET (United States) 8:00 am BST (United Kingdom) 12:30 pm IST (India) The eight episodes released so far are streaming now on Netflix worldwide, so fans can catch up immediately. The season wraps up with the final set of episodes, 9 and 10, when the wedding decisions will finally be revealed.

Stranger Things creators step away from Netflix ahead of season 5 release, sign deal with Paramount
The Duffer Brothers, known for crafting one of the most beloved web shows of recent times – Stranger Things – will be stepping away from Netflix. Matt and Ross Duffer have signed a four-year deal with Paramount Global and its parent company Skydance, marking the end of their long-term partnership with Netflix. According to Variety, the Stranger Things creators have entered into a contract with Paramount for 'ambitious' and 'large-scale theatrical films,' as well as television and streaming projects. Their new deal with Paramount will begin after their contract with Netflix ends in April 2026. However, as reported by Deadline, the brothers will continue to remain involved in the Stranger Things franchise and its spinoffs, including the upcoming shows The Boroughs and Something Very Bad Is Going to Happen. The Duffer Brothers expressed excitement about this new career endeavor. They told Variety, 'We couldn't be more thrilled to be joining the Paramount family. To be part of that mission is not just exciting – it's the fulfillment of a lifelong dream. And to do so at a studio with such a storied Hollywood legacy is a privilege we don't take lightly.' The duo also reunited with Cindy Holland, Paramount's new head of streaming. Cindy, who previously served as VP for Original Content at Netflix before joining Paramount, had greenlit Stranger Things on Netflix. They have also reconnected with Matt Thunell, president of Paramount Television, who collaborated with them during their time at Netflix. Speaking about reigniting these earlier associations at Paramount and how it will help them take their vision forward, the brothers said, 'We're also excited to reunite with our friends Cindy [Holland] and Matt [Thunell], who were among the very first to believe in us and an unusual little script we wrote that became 'Stranger Things.' They took a chance on us in 2015, and they're taking a chance again – we can't wait to create new stories together.' The Duffer Brothers are currently focused on the fifth and final season of Stranger Things, which will release in three parts in November. The hit Netflix series stars Winona Ryder, David Harbour, Finn Wolfhard, Millie Bobby Brown, Gaten Matarazzo, Caleb McLaughlin, Natalia Dyer, and Charlie Heaton in lead roles.
