Bindi Irwin's Daughter Grace Stole Her Mom's Phone for the Sweetest Reason & the Resulting Photo Is Perfect

Yahoo10 hours ago
No phone is safe from a toddler on a mission. Somehow, these kids already know how to navigate your Disney+ app, send silly emojis to grandma, and even go through pictures in your photo album. (We've even heard of toddler's placing online orders through their parent's phones!) But when Bindi Irwin's daughter Grace Warrior stole her mom's phone, Bindi had nothing to worry about. The 4-year-old did the sweetest thing, and it'll make your heart melt.
Bindi shared the sweet story of Grace using her phone on Instagram. The toddler wanted the phone to take a heartwarming cuddling picture of her parents. 'This is the first photo Grace has ever taken of us, 🥹' Bindi, who shares Grace with husband Chandler Powell, captioned the snap. 'She asked me if she could take a photo on my phone, looked at it, and said, 'cuuute'.'

Is that not the sweetest thing ever? In the snap, Bindi and Powell are bundled up in jackets as they snuggle each other on a porch swing. Bindi looks casual with her hair pulled back in a ponytail and no makeup on, as she tucks her knees in and leans into her husband. They proud parents both look so happy — it's no surprise Grace wanted to document the moment!
'Everything about these few minutes in time makes my heart happy,' Bindi added in her caption. 'It's the little moments that really mean the most.'
Bindi's mom Terri Irwin noticed another adorable detail in the picture: 'I like the shadow of her tiny finger in the bottom left of the photo,' Terri wrote. 'So sweet!' We didn't even notice it the first time, but looking back, you can definitely see the blurry finger in front of the lens. This is definitely a moment they will cherish forever.
Apparently, Grace loves taking pictures, just like her professional wildlife photographer uncle Robert Irwin. Last month, Terri shard a sweet selfie taken by Grace, with Terri, Bindi, and Powell smiling slightly out of focus in the background with Grace's big brown eyes right in front. The rest of her face was out of frame, but it doesn't matter. It's still the cutest selfie we've ever seen.
'Grace is officially in charge of selfies!📷💕' Terri captioned the post. Robert replied, 'And she's doing a great job! 🫡'
Bindi added, 'My favourite family photos are the ones that Grace takes 🥰'
We love their enthusiasm and praise for Grace's talent. No matter what she decides to do when she grows up, we know the whole Irwin family will be behind her!Best of SheKnows

Woman Speaks Out After Her Mom Is Accused of Prioritizing Family Photo Over Her Pregnancy Reveal in Viral Video (Exclusive)

Olena Perez and her husband tied the knot in May 2022 After a year of trying, she finally discovered she was pregnant on Father's Day 2023 Perez decided to post her mother's reaction to her pregnancy announcement on TikTok, and the video went viralWhen Olena Perez found out she was pregnant after nearly a year of trying, she could barely wait to tell her family. She decided to break the news during a casual dinner at a sushi restaurant, choosing the patio as the perfect spot to stage a group photo. But instead of a snapshot, someone was secretly recording the viral moment to come. In the video that was filmed back in 2023, Perez is seen holding up her positive pregnancy test, hoping for a heartfelt reaction, especially from her Ukrainian mom, who often asked when she'd finally be expecting. However, to Perez's surprise, her mom was so determined to capture the family photo that she neglected her daughter's big news. 'I thought she would be more excited and happier, but this was a typical reaction from my mom,' Perez tells PEOPLE exclusively. Since posting her mother's reaction online, the video has racked up over 30 million views, with some commenters suggesting the daughter should have announced the news differently. However, Perez says she had grown tired of being constantly asked if she was pregnant or when she planned to have a baby, and decided it was time to get it off her chest when they all got together. 'It took me a year to get pregnant and I was holding this news to myself for a bit as my parents were traveling and this was the first time we were seeing each other in person,' she explains. 'My mom also insisted on going to a sushi restaurant, so I needed everyone to understand up front why I wasn't eating anything," she adds. Looking back at the video, the 34-year-old says it was clear that everyone was confused, as no one seemed to be expecting the announcement. Besides her husband, Perez's mom, stepdad, uncle, aunt, and brother were all unaware she was pregnant. Apparently, Perez's mother thought her daughter had taken out the positive pregnancy test by mistake. 'I was annoyed she ruined the cute content moment, that's for sure, but I know my mom loves and cares about me and she is just the way she is,' Perez admits. 'People can perceive her as cold but to me she's just an Aquarius Sun and Scorpio Moon/Rising.' Her mom always pushed the family to take photos so she could post them on Facebook. Ironically, on this particular day, they ended up only recording the video – and never actually took a single photo. ''I'm not upset or surprised because my mother is a main character. She loves getting the photo,' Perez explained in a 'story time' update on TikTok. 'She will harass everyone to get a family photo – and thank God, 'cause now we have memories – but that day, we have no memory other than this video that came up in my memories randomly and I decided to repost.' Never miss a story — sign up for to stay up-to-date on the best of what PEOPLE has to offer, from celebrity news to compelling human interest stories. Perez tells PEOPLE that if her mom hadn't been out of town when she first found out she was pregnant on Father's Day 2023, she would have shared the news with her privately. 'My advice would be to do it in private with just your mom so you can have a moment together and then announce it to the whole family,' she says. Despite her mom's underwhelming reaction, Perez, who gave birth to her son in February 2024, says she is the most loving grandmother to Mason. Perez plans on hopefully expanding her family with her husband in the near future. Read the original article on People
