Elvish Yadav's Father Breaks Silence On Gunshots Fired At Son's Gurugram House: 'He Is Fine'
YouTuber and reality show star Elvish Yadav's father reacted after the shocking early morning firing at his Gurugram home, saying he spoke to his son and he is safe. 'So far, we haven't received any kind of threat or phone call. I spoke to Elvish, and he said he is fine," he told reporters. Officials said the incident took place between 5:30 am and 6 am, when unidentified gunmen reportedly fired more than a dozen rounds at the property.
Police confirmed that three masked men on motorcycles opened fire outside Yadav's Sector 57 house and quickly escaped. Sources said over two dozen shots were fired, though no injuries were reported. At the time, Yadav was not at home, and only the caretaker was inside.
Sandeep Kumar, PRO of Gurugram Police, said, 'Three masked miscreants opened fire outside the residence of YouTuber and Bigg Boss OTT winner Elvish Yadav in Gurugram's Sector 57. The incident took place at around 5:30 AM. More than a dozen rounds were fired. Elvish Yadav was not at his residence at the time of the firing."
Elvish's father said that he had not received any prior threats. 'There was definitely a threat to life — if we had been outside, anything could have happened," he said.
Legal proceedings are now underway, with further action pending a formal complaint from the family. So far, Elvish has not filed an official complaint, sources added.
Reports indicate that the gunfire targeted the ground and first floors of the home, while Elvish resides on the second and third floors. Meanwhile, the Portugal-based fugitive gangster Himanshu Bhau-led gang has claimed responsibility for the attack via an alleged Instagram post.
Elvish Yadav Controversies
Elvish Yadav has faced multiple controversies that drew widespread media attention. In November 2023, he was arrested under the Wildlife Protection Act for allegedly supplying snake venom at rave parties in Noida. Authorities seized nine snakes and 20ml of venom during the raid, with several individuals naming Yadav as the organiser and supplier. He was granted bail after eight days in custody.
In March 2024, Yadav got into a physical confrontation with fellow YouTuber Maxtern (Sagar Thakur). He admitted to slapping Maxtern, explaining that the other YouTuber had allegedly threatened to 'burn" him and his parents alive. The incident sparked a heated debate across social media platforms.

Bike-borne men fire 2 dozen rounds at Elvish's house
Gurgaon: Bike-borne assailants fired over two dozen rounds at YouTuber Elvish Yadav's house in Sector 57 early on Sunday. CCTV footage showed two men discharging their weapons at the three-storey house and unleashing a barrage of gunfire as a third accomplice waited on a bike around 5.30am. Elvish, police said, is out of town on an assignment. Some of his family members and a caretaker were inside the house during the attack, but they escaped unhurt. The house, however, bore the brunt of the gunfire, with bullet holes and shattered glass visible on the ground and first floors, and its walls. The Himanshu Bhau gang claimed responsibility for the attack, accusing Elvish of promoting betting apps that they alleged had "ruined many households". "The firing that took place today at Elvish Yadav's house was done by Neeraj Faridpur and Bhau Ritoliya. With this, today we have introduced ourselves... He (Elvish) has ruined many homes by promoting betting…," the gang's social media post read. An FIR was registered for attempt to murder and under relevant provisions of the Arms Act at Sector 56 police station. "We are investigating the case thoroughly. Teams have been formed to identify the accused. CCTV footage from cameras installed in the house is also being examined," an officer said. Elvish's father, Ramavtar Yadav, expressed disbelief over the sudden attack. "We don't have a rivalry with anyone, nor did we receive any threatening calls or messages.
