Cain makes big promise to Kyle in emotional Emmerdale scenes

Metro02-07-2025
Kyle Winchester (Huey Quinn) will always be someone who can make Cain Dingle (Jeff Hordley) feel better in Emmerdale.
Cain has been struggling in the wake of learning his son Nate Robinson (Jurell Carter) was killed last year. Instead of spending time simply grieving for Nate and trying to move forward though, he's faced a tirade of abuse from Tracy Shankley (Amy Walsh).
Practically from the very start, Tracy has convinced herself that Cain killed Nate. As a result, she has faced off with him a number of times, with Tracy trying her best to push the theory onto other members of the village.
Because she's certain that Cain is a murderer, she's banned him from Nate's funeral. A couple of days ago, Belle (Eden Taylor-Draper) tried to help the situation, but she made it worse and ended up getting the entire Dingle family banned from the event.
Yesterday, Sarah Sugden (Katie Hill) helped Cain view the upcoming funeral from a different perspective. He eventually warmed to the idea that the Dingles could organise their own memorial for Nate, and remember him in their own special way.
After discussing this with Moira Dingle (Natalie J Robb), Cain was touched when she suggested they could also dedicate a corner of a field to Nate as well. That way, after the memorial, people can go and visit the land at any time and reflect on his life.
In this evening's episode, Kyle arrived at the garage to see his dad. Perhaps unsurprisingly, Cain was stressed and had a lot on his mind. More Trending
Kyle presented Cain with an envelope full of pictures of Nate. He said that they could pin them up at the memorial and also play his favourite song, which turned out to be one by Steps.

Cain was touched at the effort Kyle had gone to. He admitted to his son that he made a lot of mistakes with Nate, but reassured Kyle and said he won't make the same ones with him and Isaac (Bobby Dunsmuir).
Cain then hugged Kyle.
He has lost a lot in recent months, and his relationship with Nate will be something Cain feels regret over potentially for the rest of his life, but he knows he has the power to do things differently with Kyle and Isaac.

Danny Dyer reveals he ran 'NAKED' through a council estate while filming new series of Mr. Bigstuff

is back in the buff in series two of Sky's Mr Bigstuff as he revealed he 'ran through a council estate naked'. The actor, 47, portrays geezer Lee, who rocks up to his brother Glen's carpet factory hoping for a new chapter, in the Sky series, which will return to screens on Thursday. Danny has now joked about striping off in 'broad daylight' and how he was worried about it being 'too cold'. Laughing, the former EastEnders star told The Sun: 'Ever run through a council estate naked? It's a whole new ball game, literally. 'I was concentrating on the weather, more than anything else, you know, that it wasn't too cold! It was broad daylight. I didn't go fully [nude], I had a little sock over my Hampton.' Danny said he didn't mind filming naked scenes as it was important to the storyline with his character chasing down a thug, who threw a brick through a window. The actor, 47, portrays geezer Lee, who rocks up to his brother Glen's carpet factory hoping for a new chapter, in the Sky series, which will return to screens on Thursday He added: 'You read this stuff, and you go, 'OK, I've got to physically do it'. But it's important to the show, it's a vital scene. You go, 'He's back'. It's the way of showing the alpha is back.' The show follows two estranged and rather contrasting brothers, Glen (Ryan Sampson) and Lee (Danny), as they discover that their father, who they thought was dead, is actually alive. It comes after Danny opened up about his daughter Dani Dyer's wedding to West Ham United footballer Jarrod Bowen, calling it 'the best day of his life'. The celebrity couple tied the knot in a 'Bridgerton-themed' wedding on May 31 at the plush £500-a-night Langley Hotel in Iver, Buckinghamshire. Dani wowed on the occasion in a £10,000 off-the-shoulder dress created by the award-winning wedding dress designer Suzanne Neville. Jarrod - who wiped away tears as Danny walked his daughter towards the alter - wore a three-piece black suit for the ceremony. Danny, a lifelong Hammers supporter, has regularly gushed about the fact his daughter's seeing his favourite footballer. And he amusingly told Amanda Holden and Jamie Theakston on Heart Breakfast about that on Dani's wedding day he gave her away to the 'man of his dreams'. He said: 'Ever run through a council estate naked? I was concentrating on the weather, more than anything else, you know, that it wasn't too cold! It was broad daylight' Speaking about the wedding, he told the hosts: 'I was in pieces, darling. 'The best day of my life. Honestly, it was just so beautiful. 'I managed, you know, to give my daughter away to the man of my dreams - I don't think that's ever happened in the history of any father giving their daughter away! 'So it was the perfect day. Let me tell you that now, it was just beautiful.' It comes as Danny is reportedly teaming up with acting heavyweight Stephen Graham for a powerful new TV drama - and it's tipped to go head-to-head with 2025's biggest hit, Adolescence. The pair, who last worked together in the 2009 cult horror Doghouse, are in early talks to create a hard-hitting series tackling some of the toughest issues facing society today. A source told The Mirror: 'It's a gritty new drama. They are currently thrashing out what they want to do but it will be in the vein of Adolescence. Something unflinching and moving.' Adolescence, which starred Stephen and was co-created by him and writer Jack Thorne, has become Netflix 's most-watched series of the year. It sparked a national debate and was even discussed in Parliament over its depiction of teenage misogyny and online safety. The series, which follows a father whose teenage son is arrested for murder, hit No1 in 71 countries and clocked up a staggering 66.3 million views in just two weeks. After the shortlist for this year's Emmy awards was announced on Tuesday, it was revealed Adolescence received 13 nominations. Of those Emmy Award nominations, Owen Cooper who starred as Jamie Miller in the series has become one of the youngest nominees ever. He is up for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Limited Series or Anthology Series or Movie category at the Primetime. And at just 15-years-old the school boy will be the youngest-ever male winner in the 76-year history of the 'TV Oscars' if he scoops the accolade for his role in Adolescence. Danny, 47, has publicly praised Stephen's work on the globally successful series, saying: 'It's such an important subject, Steve. You've got to roll me into something. I want a bit of this.' Away from the cameras, it is reported the duo are also planning to reunite on a more personal level, organising a double date with wives Joanne Mas and Hannah Walters. MailOnline has contacted Danny and Stephen's representatives.

Debbie's public outburst leaves Corrie character in shock in new video

To view this video please enable JavaScript, and consider upgrading to a web browser that supports HTML5 video Ryan Connor (Ryan Prescott) feels concerned in Coronation Street soon as Debbie Webster (Sue Devaney) lashes out while at work. Beloved character Debbie was diagnosed with dementia earlier this year. For months, the only person who knew about her health secret was brother Carl Webster (Jonathan Howard). Debbie refused to tell anyone else about it, adamant that she could handle it on her own. This approach lasted until June. At Speed Daal, Debbie collapsed in front of her loved ones, who immediately told her she needed to go to hospital. Debbie said that wouldn't be needed as she already knows what's wrong. Determined to not be defined by her illness, Debbie is still working at her hotels. In upcoming episodes though, Ryan begins to wonder if this is still a wise idea. In this new video, Debbie and Ryan are at the reception desk faced with an angry woman, who claims she didn't sleep at all because of her allergies – and that is somehow the hotel's fault. As the woman starts filming, Debbie has no qualms about entertaining it and speaks to the camera, announcing that the hotel's duvets and pillows are hypo-allergenic for customers, but she does not have an ability to control the pollen count outside. Lacking in empathy, Debbie heads off, leaving Ryan concerned. In the scenes after this, Ryan steps in and manages to smooth the situation over, apologising to the guest and persuading her to delete the footage of Debbie's outburst. More Trending In response, Debbie grabs Ryan and kisses him full on the lips as her way of saying thank you. She obviously doesn't see anything inappropriate in what she's done. Ryan is shocked, but realises that both the outburst and the kiss could be caused by Debbie's dementia. He confides in Ronnie about what happened and tells him that he's worried about her. Ronnie is deeply concerned by what Ryan has told him. Later, Debbie is angry with Ryan, who tells her that he was simply looking out for her because he's a friend and he cares about her. Man travels 500 miles to meet beauty queen and 'future wife' - before discovering sad truth

Michel, 76, from Belgium, believed he was about to meet the 'love of his life,' famous model Sophie Vouzeland. A lovestruck man was left dumbfounded after a 500-mile journey to meet a beauty queen ended in the discovery that he had been catfished. ‌ Michel, a 76 year old from Belgium, believed he was on his way to meet his ' soulmate ', the renowned model Sophie Vouzeland. However, upon arriving at her residence in Saint-Julien, France, he was met by her husband, Fabien, instead. ‌ The smitten senior announced himself as her " future husband", only to be shocked when the man at the door said: "Well, I'm the current one." ‌ Michel had been under the impression that he was communicating with the 2007 Miss France runner-up via WhatsApp. Convinced of their bond, Michel had even transferred a whopping £25,000 as a loan to someone he thought was Sophie, reports the Mirror. ‌ The couple took to social media to share a poignant video of their encounter with Michel, hoping to raise awareness about romance fraud. In the footage, a disheartened Michel admits: "I think she played a dirty trick on me. I am an imbecile." He proceeded to show Fabien the messages they had exchanged. "My wife, no, it's the fake accounts," Fabien clarified. "You have to be very careful." The video was uploaded to Instagram with a caption expressing sympathy for Michel: "I feel so sorry for this man. Watch out for fake accounts. I'm sharing this video to show you it's real and to be vigilant! Take care of yourself." ‌ Sophie, who is expecting a baby with Fabien, expressed that the incident "hurts my heart". The scam has since sparked reactions on social media, with users finding it alarming that their address was known. One individual warned: "Let us all be vigilant! Fake accounts and scams suck." ‌ Another sympathised: "Poor Sophie in the middle of this being pregnant. Fingers crossed this doesn't happen again and ends well. Cheer up to both of you." Grateful for the support, Sophie replied in the comments: "Thank you, it's not easy." A third shared their astonishment: "Oh crazy what a story! Poor gentleman. It's horrible to know that there are still people scamming people. I hope it won't happen again and that you can live your life peacefully." One more person highlighted the risks of online exposure: "The danger of social networks. But I'm surprised how he could get your address. It's absolutely not normal."
