BTS' Jin admits he doesn't speak to Jungkook ‘carelessly' despite being his hyung, says ‘We have scary fans'
BTS' oldest member, Jin, recently appeared on tvN's variety show Handsome Guys. Having made his acting debut in Netflix's Kian's Bizarre B&B, he has now become a top celebrity choice for producers, who believe his wit and easygoing charm can instantly boost a show. The Epiphany singer joined Cha Tae Hyun, Kim Dong Hyun, Lee Yi Kyung, Shin Seung Ho, and Oh Sang Uk for a food-themed trip around Seoul's Hannam-dong area, and while chatting with the team, he revealed the names of two BTS members who are big foodies and would be perfect for this kind of trip. Fans were excited to see him back, especially because he was part of the show's very first episode.

Jin, who was praised for showing 'true brother' chemistry with the show's cast, revealed during the conversation how comfortable he felt around them, even calling the boys 'like my own team.' In one scene, the cast was sitting around a table enjoying dishes when, all of a sudden, the focus shifted to which BTS members would also fit in with the Handsome Guys crew. Jin revealed, 'I think the concept of the show fits Jungkook. Jungkook really eats well.' The group's maknae sure does love eating, as shown in various BTS variety shows including In the SOOP and Run BTS, where the Euphoria crooner could be seen bugging Jin to cook something delicious for him and even goofing around in the kitchen experimenting with dishes. Next up, Jin revealed, 'I think V would match the team's vibe well. He has a laid-back personality that can take jokes well.' For the unversed, Taehyung also appeared on a cooking reality show earlier, titled Jinny's Kitchen.

Fellow 'big eaters' Shin Seung Ho and Oh Sang Uk got a little too excited listening to the revelation, and Sang Uk, who is a 96-liner, joked that since V is 95 and Jungkook is 97, they're technically his juniors, so they should come on the show. He said, 'Since I'm '96, you guys can appear on the show as my juniors.' Kim Dong Hyun then added, 'Will you be okay after this?' Jin didn't miss the chance to chime in and warned, 'We have scary fans,' he said with a straight yet playful tone. 'Even I don't speak carelessly to Jungkook.' Even as his hyung, being born in 1992, the oldest, admitted he's careful with his words when it comes to Jungkook because of how protective fans can be. Oh Sang Uk instantly changed his tone and nervously asked, 'Should I send him a video message?' He ended up saying, 'I hope you can join us on the show once. We're even willing to follow you abroad, so please let us know if you have the time. We will go to you,' He bowed politely while saying it, leaving the rest of the cast in stitches.
Despite what Jin says, fans were quick to jump into the conversation, saying they don't have a problem with Jin bossing around Jungkook and V, as they enjoy their banter and even praised the Astronaut crooner's kind and careful nature towards the members. One fan said, 'But we love when you school Jungkookie like an absolute hyung.' Another said, 'We are not that scary when it comes to members—we are protective of each one of you.' A third added, 'But with Jin and Jungkook, they are the ultimate duo who can't go a day without bickering.'
As for Jin, who returned from his military service earlier, he announced his first solo world tour back in April that included 9 global cities, South Korea, Japan, California, Texas, Florida, New Jersey, London, Amsterdam, and more. The tour will continue till August. Meanwhile, in June, all 7 BTS members will reunite upon the discharge of RM, Jungkook, Taehyung, Suga, and Jimin, who are still in service.

Mercy For None review: So Ji-sub leads Netflix's gritty revenge drama that hits hard but lacks originality and depth
Netflix's latest K-drama 'Mercy For None' lives up to its title — there's truly no mercy, especially from its lead character, Nam Gi-jun. A former gangster turned avenger, Gi-jun (So Ji-sub) sets out on a relentless path of vengeance after the death of his younger brother, Gi-seok (Lee Joon-hyuk). From the first scene to the last, Gi-jun has one goal: make those responsible for his brother's death pay, no matter the cost. The premise is as straightforward as it gets: younger brother dies in suspicious circumstances, older brother seeks revenge, and a blood-soaked trail of justice follows. The show is set firmly in the criminal underworld, dominated by two major gangs — Ju-woon and Bong-san — who maintain an uneasy truce until that balance is shattered. Gu Jun-mo (Gong Myung), the arrogant and short-tempered son of Gu Bong-san, orders the killing of Gi-seok, triggering the central conflict. Watch the show's trailer here: So Ji-sub plays Nam Gi-jun with his signature stoicism, a trait fans of 'Doctor Lawyer' or 'A Company Man' will recognise. He's ice-cold, ruthless, and unwavering — a man whose pain fuels his cruelty. If you were even remotely involved in Gi-seok's death, you're either dead, or barely holding on with broken ribs. While the story lacks originality, the performances add weight. Gong Myung is a surprising standout as Gu Jun-mo. Known mostly for his soft, romantic roles, Myung turns menacing here — his violent outbursts chilling and unpredictable. Choo Young-woo also delivers a strong performance as the hidden mastermind, Lee Geum-son. His transformation from a reluctant prosecutor to a cold-blooded heir to a crime empire is one of the show's few satisfying twists. The action choreography is one of 'Mercy For None's clear strengths. The scenes are slick, brutal, and impressively shot. Two moments, in particular, stand out. The first is a chaotic brawl in a computer cafe — our first glimpse at how terrifyingly efficient Gi-jun can be in combat even with a missing Achilles Heel. The second is the final scene, where Gi-jun, bloodied and broken, sits at his remote campsite and imagines his brother beside him. He breaks down, overwhelmed with grief, and dies quietly. It's the only moment we see his vulnerability, and it lands with genuine emotion — though it feels a little too late. Unfortunately, 'Mercy For None' falls into the trap of overdoing the hero's invincibility. Gi-jun takes more beatings, stabbings, and bullets than any man should, yet keeps going like he's made of steel. During the final face-off with Lee Geum-son, he's shot twice and still manages to make it to his secluded campsite. It stretches believability to the limit and gives the show a slightly over-the-top, almost Bollywood-style flair that doesn't quite fit the otherwise gritty tone. In the end, 'Mercy For None' is a visually polished, well-acted revenge drama that doesn't bring much new to the genre. It delivers brutal fights and emotional beats, but the story is too thin and predictable to leave a real mark. So Ji-sub is compelling as ever, and Gong Myung is a revelation in his role — but the show doesn't do enough with its characters to elevate itself beyond average. Verdict: Watch it if you're a fan of dark dramas, but don't expect it to break new ground. 2.5 out of 5 stars for this tale of revenge.

Aamir Khan Welcomes Sachin Tendulkar Home; Sitaare Zameen Par Cast Jumps With Joy
Last Updated: Aamir Khan welcomed Sachin Tendulkar home and introduced him to the Sitaare Zameen Par cast. The video is going viral. Aamir Khan welcomed Sachin Tendulkar home in the presence of well-known names from the film industry. As a video from their meeting goes viral, fans can't help but notice the joy on the faces of the newly-launched Sitaare Zameen Par cast after spotting the former Indian cricketer. Sachin, who is close friends with Aamir, arrived to meet him with his wife Anjali. After the video went viral, fans drew speculations about the setting of the meeting. While some social media users claimed it took place at Aamir Khan's house, others believed it happened after a special screening of Sitaare Zameen Par. In one video, a guest is seen informing Aamir that Sachin has arrived while the former was playing foosball, prompting him to warmly welcome both Sachin and Anjali. The moment the cricket legend appears, the other guests light up with excitement and begin chanting his name. Sachin, visibly humbled, remained calm as he greeted the guests and Sitaare Zameen Par cast one after the other. Take a look: God of cricket Sachin Tendulkar arrived at #AamirKhan 's home last nightThe way the sitaares chanted for him was special. #SitaareZameenPar should be watched by everyone for these 10 special people 🙌 — RAJ (@AamirsDevotee) June 7, 2025 Meanwhile, Aamir Khan exclusively spoke to News18 Showsha and refused to call Sitaare Zameen Par his comeback film. The superstar was last seen in 2022 film, Laal Singh Chaddha. 'Well, I'm not considering it a comeback film, quite honestly," Aamir told us exclusively. 'My films usually come out once in three years anyway. A lot of actors have 8 to 10 flops, but we don't call those comebacks, do we? I've had just one flop, and you're calling it a comeback? I haven't gone anywhere," he added. Aamir explained that he was drawn to Sitaare Zameen Par because its story felt like a natural continuation of the message delivered in his 2007 film Taare Zameen Par. 'The script felt like an extension of what we were trying to say in Taare. That film was about inclusion, about a child with a learning disability. But in Sitaare, the challenge is even greater. It deals with individuals who have intellectual disabilities—children on the autism spectrum, with Down syndrome—who are much more atypical compared to dyslexia. And what's even more beautiful is that this time, it's not the neurotypical person helping them, but the other way around. The neurodivergent kids help the coach. That's why I feel this film goes ten steps ahead in the same theme." Aamir added that the story resonated deeply with him, so much so that it felt like a 'spiritual sequel" to Taare Zameen Par, which is why the makers settled on the title Sitaare Zameen Par. Sitaare Zameen Par is directed by RS Prasanna, and produced by Aamir Khan and Aparna Purohit. Also starring Genelia Deshmukh and ten newcomers, the film is a remake of the Spanish film, Champions. It releases on June 20. First Published:
