Alley Cats: hyped New York-style pizza restaurant is opening a third site in London

Time Out3 days ago
A few years ago, Neapolitan pizzas were all the rage. Now, that craze has burned out and a new cheesy-tomato hero has risen from its ashes – the New York pie is here to save us from the sourdough.
There are loads of great NY inspired restaurants popping up across the capital, including some which are so good one store just isn't enough. Alley Cats – a spot so aggressively Italian-American that they often project episodes of the Sopranos directly onto the walls – opened in Marylebone back in 2023, before a second location came forth last year. Now, a third Alley Cats has been announced.

The selected spot is on Westbourne Grove in Notting Hill, in place of previous Italian occupants Verderame. It's expected that the menu, developed by head chef Francesco Macri, will remain pretty similar to its predecessors. Expect huge 14 inch pizza bases with creative toppings like pepperoni with jalapeños and honey, and wild mushrooms with red onion jam and fried sage. If that's not your thing, there's always the classic margherita. Macri has worked across restaurants in London and Rome, so he definitely knows what he's doing.
Time Out London editor Joe Mackertich particularly rated Alley Cats' creamy vodka sauce pizza when he headed to the Marylebone branch, describing it as 'every bit as moreish and comforting as the dish that inspired it'.
As if that wasn't enough, you can also enjoy a range of starters, including the signature garlic and cheese bites, and a tiramisu to top it all off. We're getting hungry just thinking about it.
It's not known exactly when the doors will open on the brand new pizzeria. Based on the caption on the Instagram announcement, which says the restaurant is coming 'VERY soon', it may be arriving very quickly indeed.
The best pizza in London, according to Time Out.

Kiki Morris doesn't look like this anymore! Busty reality TV star who swapped life in Australia for Bali reveals wild transformation

Kiki Morris has a penchant for changing up her appearance. And The Bachelor star has once again stunned her fans with a new look, sharing her updated makeover to Instagram on Tuesday. The 37-year-old posed up a storm for selfies that showed her bright blonde locks and heavily tanned skin. Kiki also flaunted her sizeable bust and puffy pout, which she highlighted with a face full of glamorous makeup. The former reality star also showed off her figure in a barely-there crochet bikini that left very little to the imagination. The latest transformation comes just months after Kiki last switched up her appearance late last year. At that time, she shared a gallery of photos to Instagram from her luxury beach holiday in Thailand and unveiled her stunning hair transformation. She had been recognisable for her wavy caramel locks and lengthy hair extensions, but changed up her look for a jet-black bob. Kiki looked strikingly different with her new jaw-dropping style as she posed up a storm for the cameras while having the time of her life in Phuket. In August last year, Kiki relocated from Australia to sunny Ibiza, Spain, to live with her rumoured fiancée Jorge. She has since been spotted wearing what appears to be a glitzy engagement ring, but has never commented on rumours they are set to tie the knot. Bidding farewell to Australia at the time, she wrote on Instagram: 'It's not goodbye, it's see ya later. Last weekend in Sydney with my beautiful girls! Tomorrow is the day.' Kiki is now based in Bali, where she takes part in charity efforts to save stray cats and dogs in the area. The Bachelor fans will remember Morris from Richie Strahan's season in 2016. After being dumped on the show, she later returned to screens in spin-off series Bachelor In Paradise - but failed to find love there. In 2023, she won a decent pay cheque of $100,000 when she took out the crown on The Challenge. Just weeks after the finale aired, she became the latest in a long line of reality stars who signed up to the X-rated site OnlyFans for a quick payday. The star invited her followers to subscribe to her page for free and hoped to secure a sale once on board. 'Hi guys, I am so excited to finally join you all here. I will be sharing with you what you want to see feature on my page so let me know what you want to see of me, or just stop and say hi,' she wrote in her initial post.

Reality TV fans might have felt sad to see the conclusion of Love Island on Monday night. But fear not, the ultimate social experiment is returning to our screens this autumn for its third year on ITV, running for a total of seven weeks. This time around, the iconic eye has been filled with multiple eye like marbles rolling around. Shown to the public in an exclusive promo during Love Island's final on ITV2, the eye can be seen making its way through multicolored tubes. The broadcaster wrote: 'Eye spy with my little eye, something beginning with B…et ready — Big Brother, the original social experiment, returns!' 'The nation's most renowned residence, the Big Brother house, will yet again play host to all the mischief and mayhem which has undergone a makeover that's easy on the eye. More Trending 'Viewers can expect more new twists and turns, elaborate tasks, intense nominations and live evictions as the cast of housemates go up against one another in a bid to be crowned the winner, and walk away with a life-changing cash prize.' The reveal of the eye comes after Jack P. Shepherd won the most recent Celebrity Big Brother edition. The series was filled with numerous controversies, such as when Mickey Rourke was removed from the house for offensive comments, and saw JoJo Siwa and Chris Hughes fall in love.
