So if you've got perfume you haven't opened or designer clothes you don't wear, you'll need to take notes.
Jesse, 20, started Vinted in the hopes of making a bit of extra cash, but now sells full-time on the marketplace app.
While many thought she would only make an 'extra tenner' a week by selling on the app, Jesse has revealed that she has since cashed in almost £160,000 - yes, you heard that correctly.
The reseller, who is now able to spend her days going out for lunch and enjoying Pilates classes, has earned a whopping £159,234.28 in total through the app.
Now, she even has her own e-guide to help others sell on Vinted and claimed she 'loves helping girlies elevate.'
As well as being able to go on three holidays this summer thanks to her impressive earnings, Jesse currently has four items listed on her Vinted account, which could see her cash in an extra £320.
Jesse acknowledged that rather than selling her own second-hand items on Vinted, instead she uses suppliers to purchase cheap products in bulk, for a reduced price.
Then, she will then sell these on for profit and not only lists items on Vinted, but also uses eBay, Facebook Marketplace and Depop too.
Jesse shared the four items that have made her the most profit - the first of which was a posh perfume.
Jesse was able to buy a Tom Ford Bitter Peach Eau De Parfum for just £30, but sold it on Vinted for £115, making a profit of £75.

As well as this, she has made money by flogging hair tools too.
She used her supplier to get a Dyson Airstraight for £80, which she then sold for £299, making a profit of £219.
And that's not all, as the young woman has also made a huge amount of profit by selling clothes too.
Jesse got her hands on an Essentials 'Fear of God' Shorts set for only £3, but was then able to sell it on for £100, giving her an impressive profit of £97.
As well as this, as Jesse also got a Nike Windrunner Shorts and T-Shirt set in lilac for just £12, which she was able to flog for £115, giving her a profit of £103.
Do you need to pay tax on items sold on Vinted?
QUICK facts on tax from the team at Vinted... The only time that an item might be taxable is if it sells for more than £6,000 and there is profit (sells for more than you paid for it). Even then, you can use your capital gains tax-free allowance of £3,000 to offset it.
Generally, only business sellers trading for profit (buying goods with the purpose of selling for more than they paid for them) might need to pay tax. Business sellers who trade for profit can use a tax-free allowance of £1,000, which has been in place since 2017.

One user begged: 'Hey hun, can you share your supplier please?'
Whilst another eagerly asked: 'Supplier please.'

The AI trick that means you can ‘sell anything' on Vinted & it's perfect if you're a rubbish photographer
Plus, everything you need to know about paying tax on items sold on Vinted SO 'APPY The AI trick that means you can 'sell anything' on Vinted & it's perfect if you're a rubbish photographer ARE you desperate to make some extra cash on Vinted but are having no success? Thousands of cash-savvy fashionistas are using the popular marketplace to flog their pre-loved garments, with some raking in over £5k. 2 Taking to TikTok, the savvy fashionista revealed she was using a special app that generates photos for her Credit: Tiktok/@vintylook 2 So far, there have been over 28,000 jaw-dropping transformations, with many sellers giving the service the maximum of five stars Credit: Tiktok/@vintylook Chucking your old T-shirt on the bed, or taking a snap of it on the hanger, is probably the easiest option when creating a listing. But while this may save you time, shoppers are more likely to click 'Buy' when they see what the item looks like on a person. When using Vinted, photos are key if you want to make quick cash - but what to do if you're rubbish at taking snaps? According to one TikToker, there's a solution - and it means you won't have to model any of the garments either. Taking to TikTok, the savvy fashionista revealed she was using a special app that generates photos for her - and the ''super simple trick'' has made her Vinted sales ''go way up''. Before discovering the game-changer of a solution, the TikToker would post images of the second-hand items on a hanger - a method many sellers use. The technique rarely worked in her favour though, as the pieces ''took forever to sell or never did''. However now, the seller uses VintyLook to create AI-generated photos of the clothing being worn by a 'person'. This, she said in the video, meant there's ''no modelling'' and ''no stress'' involved. One of the items she managed to flog thanks to the app was a tie dye long-sleeve top, which the TikToker first listed with a basic photo on the bed. I was so smug to bag a £1k designer gown for £60 on Vinted but the item I received was 'terrible' and not even close ''Poor lighting, bad angles, nothing worked.'' But VintyLook instantly made the listing and photo more interesting - and the same top was allegedly sold in just two days. Raving about the hack, the TikToker (@vintylook) wrote in the caption: ''It's called VintyLook, you paste your listing link and it generates a clean 'worn' photo for you. ''I've been doing this for a week and already sold more than the past month.'' According to the site, which boasts more an impressive 4.9-star rating, ''unengaging photos slow down sales and limit your reach''. Do you need to pay tax on items sold on Vinted? 'I've got the best in the biz': TikTok star Lauren Whelan on hiring a financial adviser and starting a pension at 23
That's the breakdown of the Gen Z grind, as explained by Lauren Whelan on the latest episode of the Money Talks podcast. Whelan, a popular 23-year-old content creator from Carlow, has established herself as a bona fide social media sensation in recent years, building up an audience of 1.7 million on TikTok alone. So, how does one go about achieving such numbers? Whelan started off by tapping into trends before giving comedy skits a go. It was her move into fashion and beauty content that really raised her game, though, attracting the attention of not just brands, but professional management companies. Influencing might still be a relatively new career option, and its unconventional nature often provokes criticism, but Whelan and the team around her take it very seriously indeed. 'I actually have no fears,' she says. 'Maybe that's a bit delusional of me, but I've seen how far the other girls in my management company have gone, they've been doing it so much longer than I have and they all have their own brands. 'They've ventured off into new things. They've invested in different things. They've taken different routes; they've gone into TV and media. So, I think I'm in a really nice position. 'It's nice to have that platform because you can kind of venture into different things from it,' she adds. 'I'm never in my ear like, 'Oh, I must get a more traditional job because this is a real job.' And like any job, there are long-term financial considerations. Despite her young age, Whelan is already securing her future. 'I am very lucky in that I'm set up with a really good financial adviser and accountant... I have the best in the biz,' she said. ADVERTISEMENT 'I have a pension, which is mad to say at 23. I know it's a bit like, 'Oh, what does a 23-year-old need a pension for? But I think everyone should have one, no matter what age you are, and no matter how much you put into it.' You can hear the full conversation with Lauren Whelan on the latest episode of Money Talks, available now wherever you get your podcasts.
