The Fallout TV show on Prime Video blew everyone away with its gritty, retro-futuristic take on the post-apocalyptic world. After a wild first season, excitement for Season 2 is through the roof. Here's the scoop on when it's coming, who's in the cast, and what's cooking for the plot, all served up fresh for fans hungry for more. Fallout Season 2 Release Window
Word from Prime Video is that Fallout Season 2 will land in December 2025, just in time to spice up the holiday season with some irradiated chaos. Filming wrapped in May 2025, even with wildfires in Southern California causing a brief hiccup earlier this year. The show's big sets, wild creatures like Deathclaws, and heavy CGI meant a long post-production haul, but the team pulled it off. There's talk Amazon might ditch the all-at-once drop from Season 1 and go weekly to keep folks glued to their screens, like they do with The Boys . No exact date's out yet, but expect a big reveal around Fallout Day on October 23. Fallout Season 2 Expected Cast
The main crew's back for more. Ella Purnell's returning as Lucy MacLean, the wide-eyed Vault-dweller facing tough lessons. Walton Goggins is back as The Ghoul, aka Cooper Howard, stealing scenes with his mix of grit and charm. Aaron Moten's suiting up again as Maximus, now a proper Brotherhood of Steel knight with new challenges. Kyle MacLachlan's back as Hank MacLean, Lucy's dad, whose shady moves last season set up some serious drama. Moisés Arias as Norm MacLean and Leslie Uggams as Betty Pearson are likely back too, with flashbacks probably featuring Sarita Choudhury as Lee Moldaver and Frances Turner as Barb Howard.
Big news: Macaulay Culkin's joining the party as a 'crazy genius' type, sparking chatter about him playing a mad scientist or a quirky New Vegas character. Whispers about Aaron Paul jumping in are floating around, but nothing's solid yet. There's also buzz about Kumail Nanjiani possibly playing a Brotherhood bigwig, which would be a huge get. Rafi Silver might return as Robert House, the New Vegas boss from Fallout: New Vegas , though some think they'll recast for a meatier role. Fallout Season 2 Potential Plot
Season 2 is expected to start after that jaw-dropping Season 1 ending, with Lucy and The Ghoul chasing Hank to New Vegas, the glitzy, faction-packed city from Fallout: New Vegas . Hank's power armor escape sets up a high-stakes hunt in the Mojave Wasteland. Expect casinos, shady deals, and clashes between groups like the New California Republic and Caesar's Legion, teased in leaked set pics. The Brotherhood of Steel, now armed with a game-changing cold fusion gadget, faces new headaches, and Maximus might start questioning his orders.
Deathclaws are confirmed to stalk the screen, with showrunner Graham Wagner hyping them up after their skull popped up in Season 1's finale. The story will mix wasteland action with pre-apocalypse flashbacks, digging into The Ghoul's past and his hunt for his family. Lucy's journey gets darker as she wrestles with her ideals after last season's betrayals, with Ella Purnell teasing a tougher, more layered arc. Vault-Tec's dirty secrets will unravel further, and Robert House might emerge as a puppet-master villain.

Madelyn Cline KJ Apa The Map That Leads To You Interview

Madelyn Cline and KJ Apa have both starred in two of the biggest teen TV shows in the last 10 years: Outer Banks and Riverdale. Now, the duo is teaming up for their new romance movie, The Map That Leads to You, which I can say with my whole heart that I loved so much. It might be one of the best young adult romance movies in recent years. Based on the novel of the same name by J.P. Monninger, and directed by Lasse Hallström, the movie tells the story of Heather (Cline), who is traveling Europe with her best friends when she meets Jack (Apa). Soon, the duo embarks on a whirlwind summer of romance and travel together, with Jack visiting various locations his grandfather wrote about in a journal. So, to celebrate their new movie, we had Madelyn and KJ take a costar test to see how well they really know each other behind the scenes, and it might be one of the most hilariously chaotic costar tests we've done. Yes, out of the gate they had nicknames for each other. For starters, KJ felt extremely confident that he knew the first time he met Madelyn, but she quickly pointed out that he was wrong and they actually met at a gym years prior. They also agreed on their favorite behind-the-scenes memory from filming The Map That Leads to You, which was when one of their security guards "almost decked a guy." And while they didn't know everything about each other, like what Madelyn's go-to snack at craft services was, the whole thing was just so delightful because they love to goof around together. Like, I genuinely have not seen costars make each other laugh so much in a long time. You can check out Madelyn and KJ's full costar test below: And be sure to watch The Map That Leads to You, which is streaming now on Prime Video.

Thanks to AI tools, this actress is the real star of a popular Prime Video movie

Idris Elba and John Cena starred in Heads of State, an action comedy that premiered on Prime Video last month. Elba and Cena are billed as the film's top stars. However, AI tools showed that the film's third lead, Priyanka Chopra Jonas, was the real force behind the movie's success. Amazon MGM Studios bypassed theaters for Heads of State and released it directly to Prime Video on July 2, 2025. The decision to head to streaming paid off. Per Deadline, the action comedy registered over 75 million worldwide Prime Video viewers in just over one month. Recommended Videos Heads of State is the fourth-most-watched Amazon MGM Studios film on Prime Video of all time, behind Red One, The Accountant 2, and The Tomorrow War. One could assume that global stars like Elba and Cena would be the reason behind the surge in viewership. According to AI tools, Chopra Jonas was the biggest draw. Per Variety, representatives for Chopra Jonas used Grok and ChatGPT to measure and analyze viewer sentiment. Using an AI breakdown based on volume, headlines, and quoting intensity, Chopra Jonas had a buzz rate of around 50% to 60% on the film. The same formula had Elba and Cena between 20% and 25%, nearly half the amount generated by Chopra Jonas. 'I don't think she would normally be credited for [the film's success] because she's not the lead. She's not a 'Head of State,'' Anjula Acharia, Chopra Jonas' manager, said to Variety. But in this case, the data doesn't lie.' The data support Chopra Jonas' huge crossover appeal thanks to her career as a Bollywood actress. AI is changing how Hollywood operates. Saying AI around someone in the business will almost always generate a negative reaction. Most people fear that increased AI will lead to the loss of jobs. Acharia, conversely, believes AI can help gather data points to use during contract negotiations for future roles. 'You can really see where the cultural heat is building, and it gives you that data really fast,' Acharia added about using AI tools to help her client. Heads of State is now on Prime Video.
