Brentford starlet Iwan Morgan suffered a hilarious tumble against Bournemouth
However, it was one moment that made the match go viral and momentarily steal the spotlight from the Europa League final between Manchester United and Tottenham.
Brentford won a throw-in on 51 minutes down the left flank and Iwan Morgan went to take it on.
Morgan, 19, walked backwards as he planned a long throw into the Bournemouth box.
But the young striker got a little carried away as he tried to take too much space.
That led to him falling over the advertising hoardings with a hilarious back flip.
The fans in attendance were left laughing their socks off whereas the commentator exclaimed: "Whoops!"
Nevertheless, Morgan proved to a be a good sport as he immediately got back up to his feet and carried on.
Fans watching the game were left in stitches as they stormed social media.
One supporter tweeted: "Over 2000 people seeing you do this live btw, I'd retire from football altogether."
Another commented: "Outrageous time wasting method."
A third wrote: "Haha, Bournemouth vs Brentford U21s is stealing the show, brother!"
This fan said: "Yep, proper football, better than Spurs v Man Utd any day."
And that one stated: "It'll still be a better performance than anything [Rasmus] Hojlund does this evening."

Soccer Aid forced to apologise as Tyson Fury drops F-bomb on live TV
Soccer Aid 2025 got off to a rather chaotic start thanks to Tyson Fury's potty mouth. The former professional boxer joins a lineup of major celebrities taking part in this year's event to raise money for UNICEF. Playing for England are the likes of Louis Tomlinson, Jill Scott, Jermain Defoe, Sir Mo Farah, and Steven Bartlett, with Paddy McGuinness in goal. They're facing off against World XI, which comprises Big Zuu, Dermot Kennedy, Tony Bellew, and Gorka Márquez, to name a few. Tyson, meanwhile, is on the management team for England alongside Wayne Rooney. An enthusiastic Manchester United fan, he has declared his pride to welcome England to Old Trafford for the game, which is his club's home ground. Although it seems all that excitement got the better of him ahead of kick-off. This led to presenters Alex Scott and Dermot O'Leary apologising to viewers, as the star dropped an F-bomb. Captured in the training room ahead of the teams taking to the pitch, Tyson gave England a motivational speech. During the talk, he told the players: 'We are f***ing Spartans.' Host Alex, 40, then told audiences at home: 'We do apologise for the swearing. 'It's Tyson; we don't know what's going to happen.' Plenty of viewers saw the funny side of things, with @TJ_DCFC then joking on X: 'Well that's Tyson Fury never being allowed back to Soccer Aid ever again'. 'Tyson Fury dropping the F Bomb at 6:30pm on a Sunday afternoon', wrote @Miss_Terreh, followed by a crying laughing emoji. @96_Mikeys blasted those complaining about his language, urging them to 'grow up', adding: 'God forbid Tyson Fury swearing on Soccer Aid, and people moaning and groaning already!' Fortunately, commentators Jason Manford and Sam Matterface also kept it light when they brought the incident back up later on. Before the players left the tunnel, comedian Jason quipped: 'They've taken the microphone off Tyson.' Sam added that while his earlier speech was 'explicit-laden,' Tyson had 'good intentions'. He also recalled Tyson's promise not to use his 'hands or feet' for the duration of the game while watching from the sidelines. But, as you might have guessed, Tyson went on to swear another time. Midway through the game, Alex checked in with him, asking whether England's strong performance thus far was down to his management. He laughed, saying he had merely been standing in the box, screaming, shouting, and 's**t like that'. Upon being announced as a Soccer Aid coach this year, Tyson said: 'ENGLAND MANAGER! Who would ever have thought it!? 'I have had some big fights in my career, and the prospect of leading my England team to victory this June fills me with just as much excitement as any heavyweight fight! 'Everyone knows that I am a huge Manchester United fan too, so it's even more special for me that the game is at Old Trafford this year—and I get to manage one of my heroes, Wayne Rooney! 'How can we lose!? The work UNICEF does all around the world is so special and so important. 'I really hope that you can come along and support us this summer.' Co-manager Rooney also plays in the match, having scored England's first goal this time. The pair were assisted in England's coaching journey by Harry Redknapp and actress Vicky McClure, while former goalkeeper David James acted as the goalkeeping coach. Joining them on the side of the pitch is Sam Thompson, who was due to play but was withdrawn due to injuries. The podcaster and reality star raised over £2million for UNICEF last week by running and cycling 260 miles in five days to transport the match ball from London to Manchester. His tearful Match Ball Mission saw him encounter various physical and mental obstacles along the way, with his legs ultimately left 'falling apart' and ruling him out of any pitch action this weekend. Cherki sends brutal message to Man Utd after Man City move - 'I didn't like it'
Rayan Cherki is out to avenge Lyon's heartbreaking Europa League exit at the hands of Manchester United after joining the Red Devils' arch-rivals in the transfer window Manchester City new boy Rayan Cherki has vowed to 'kill' Manchester United when he dons the blue shirt next season after Ruben Amorim 's side crushed his Europa League dreams. Cherki, 21, joined the former Premier League champions in a £31million deal earlier this week as Pep Guardiola continues to overhaul a squad that were completely outgunned by Liverpool in the race for the domestic crown last season. And Cherki, still smarting from Lyon's heartbreaking European exit at the hands of the red half of Manchester, has instantly endeared himself to his new fans by taking aim at United. 'I don't like when Manchester United won the game against Lyon because I am a Lyonnais [he was born in Lyon]. Now I am waiting for the game [to] kill them,' he said. Cherki is regarded as one of the most exciting prospects in Europe after a stellar season with the French giants, including a goal in the dramatic 5-4 loss against United in the Europa League quarter-finals. He goaded United fans by grabbing his crotch in celebration before a late, late show left Cherki and Lyon with broken hearts. The attacking midfielder now has his sights set on far grander prizes after swapping Lyon for Manchester and will star for Guardiola's new-look side at the FIFA Club World Cup before participating in the Champions League. And the ultra-confident France star also has his sights set on the Ballon d'Or, too. 'When you see Rodri here, he won the Ballon d'Or — it's clear tht with Manchester City it's possible and I am here for this,' Cherki added. 'I want to win everything with City. When I spoke with Pep [Guardiola] he said he wanted me. He was very, very clear [on that] and the system, the club, the city is very good for me.' Cherki's arrival coincides with the departure of club legend, Kevin De Bruyne, who brought the curtain down on a decade of brilliance last month. The exciting attacker insists he is not a ready-made replacement for the Napoli-bound maestro, though. 'I'm not Kevin de Bruyne - he's the legend (of the club),' he said. 'I'm here to help the team. We have the best players in the world. I work and I wait my turn. I spoke with Pep about my position on the pitch and we spoke about what I enjoy when I'm on the pitch. It's very good for me. He told me he loves a No10, but now I play all the positions in the pitch - so it's not complicated because I just want to play. 'Pep told me, 'When you have the ball, you are free' which is very good for me because it's my first quality to help the team.'
