Inside Tom Allen's 'first ever relationship' with actor boyfriend after years of being single

Tom Allen has become a familiar face on TV in recent years but away from the TV shows the Cooking with the Stars host is loved-up with his famous partner
Tom Allen is one of the UK's beloved presenters but who is his famous boyfriend?

The comedian has become a regular on TV screens in recent years thanks to stints on shows like Live at the Apollo, Bake Off: The Professionals and 8 Out of 10 Cats.

Tom also presents BBC 's The Apprentice: You're Fired. Currently, he is hosting ITV 's Cooking with the Stars, along with Emma Willis which has returned for its fifth series.

Away from the TV shows though, Tom is loved-up with boyfriend Alfie Garston.
Alfie is an actor and events organiser who works as a freelance host and performer for the Walt Disney Company. His job at Disney has seen him work all over the world, including Paris, Tokyo and London, presenting the annual Halloween and Christmas Parties.
He also previously worked as an actor for the Glad Rags Production Company. Speaking previously about Alfie - who Tom is thought to have started dating in 2021 - Tom revealed that he is his 'first ever relationship'.

He told The Independent in 2022: 'Alfie's been amazing. He's a very kind person and calming for me. He's very grounded. This is my first ever relationship and it just calms you down a bit.'
In 2019, Tom also shared with iNews that he had never been in a relationship. He said: 'I used to think that was a bit of a scandal in itself, an unusual thing.

'But I've met more and more people who are like that. There are people who find it very easy to get into relationships and I've always just not.'
Tom and Alfie, who live together in Bromley, regularly share updates from their life on their social media - including sun-soaked trips abroad. They have also made several pubic appearances too, and recently attended Mel B's wedding in July.
What's more, in March this year, Tom sparked engagement rumours after fans watching him on Comic Relief spotted an engagement ring.
One person mused on X at the time: 'Is that an engagement ring I spotted on @tomallencomedy? Congratulations if true. Alfie seems such a lovely man. #comicrelief"

BBC Antiques Road Trip star 'holds back tears' and shares heartfelt confession

Antiques Road Trip star Angus Ashworth has opened up about the emotional experiences he's had with owners of antiques over the years Antiques Road Trip star Angus Ashworth "held back tears" as he made a heartfelt confession on the show. The BBC antiques expert admitted that emotions often run high when dealing with the estate of a loved one who has passed away. ‌ Angus, who currently appears on The Yorkshire Auction House, shared some touching experiences with owners of antiques. He explained that while he often witnesses "incredible" reactions, there have been those who are "just in it for the money" over the years. ‌ Angus revealed when talking to the Express: "We've had a lot of good reactions. It's usually people that are not doing it for the money. They're doing it because they've got to clear the house, so they've never really considered the value. It's just part of the process, then all of a sudden you tell them they've made £10,000. ‌ "There's been several like that where they're absolutely speechless. We've had some incredible reactions. People genuinely do break down into tears. "On the telly, a chap's wife was badly ill [with cancer] and he wanted to raise enough money to get a second-hand stairlift put in to help her mobility. "He was hoping to raise £2,000 because that's what he needed for the stairlift and we made him £9,000. He just couldn't comprehend it." The TV auctioneer continued: "You've always got to be mindful when you step into a house. You've got to read the room, and read the client. Everybody's situation is different - some of them, it's very straightforward and businesslike. "But what you've got to remember is even if something is not saleable, and doesn't have a commercial value, it has a sentimental value. I've always gone by the mantra that whenever you talk about something, you've got to remember it belonged to somebody's late father, mother, brother. ‌ "That might be their prize item. You can be enthusiastic about something, just because it's not [worth much commercially]. There's a lot of empathy that's got to be given, put yourself in their shoes." He added: "I suppose that's partly why people get us in - because we can take a non-attached approach to it, we can just do the job. But there are odd stories you get where you go, 'Ugh, that's tough'." ‌ Angus then recalled meeting a woman who was moving to Spain to start a new life after her son had died. "I'd not long had children at that point and I was [holding back tears]. Every once in a while you're just... taken aback," he said. Angus further shared: "A slightly different one that hasn't aired yet was a military veteran who was badly injured and suffered very badly with PTSD, and we were the first people he'd let in his house for 15 years. That was a different sort of emotional. "He got us because we've got the military connection and he felt he could let us in - that was a massive step for him. It's not always about people who are deceased. It's a unique job." He concluded: "Then you get clients where it's all about the money and they're there to the penny, saying 'You didn't quite get what we were thinking'. Auctions are like that - some things will do better than expected, some things will do worse."

The 44-year-old ring star, who came third in the main ITV 2012 series, is now set to join the spin-off show in South Africa. Sign up for the Entertainment newsletter Sign up 3 David Haye is in advanced talks to join I'm A Celebrity's All Stars edition 3 David in camp, 2012, pictured with Ashley Roberts and Charlie Brooks Credit: Brian Roberts - The Sun It comes after The Sun revealed the former world heavyweight champ is in a battle with the taxman over unpaid debts of almost £600,000. David is now famed for his three-way 'throuple' relationships with girlfriend Sian Osborne, 33, and other women. And if he joins the South Africa-based spin-off, he could be urged to spill the beans on his exploits by other celeb camp mates. A source said: 'David was delighted to get the call from ITV. As viewers know, no chats are off-limits around the campfire, so they can expect to see David grilled over his quirky relationships.' He came third during his previous stint in the jungle, behind Pussycat Dolls singer Ashley Roberts and EastEnders actress Charlie Brooks, who won. Nicknamed The Hayemaker, he made an estimated £20million boxing. But last week we told how court papers revealed HMRC believes his firm, Hayemaker Boxing Ltd, dodged tax. Debts mounted up after he had failed to pay corporation tax from 2010 to 2013. David has been dating model Sian since 2020 and the pair welcomed ex-Saturdays singer Una Healy and ex-Corrie star Helen Flanagan into their relationship. Other stars in talks to appear on I'm A Celebrity… South Africa include retired footie boss Harry Redknapp, 78, who won the main series in 2018, and Towie's Gemma Collins, 44. Maura Higgins reveals major The Traitors US bombshell after causing 'carnage'

Maura Higgins has hinted in an Instagram video that she causes 'utter carnage' while taking part in The Traitors US as she revealed the experience was 'unique' Former Love Island star Maura Higgins has hinted that she will be causing 'utter carnage' on our screens as she is confirmed to be taking part in the fourth series of The Traitors US. ‌ Maura, 34, is thought to be causing some trouble as the host of the show Alan Cumming gave fans an idea of what to expect from the new series. He described one of the scenes as the 'greatest moment in Traitors' history'. ‌ Alan told The Playlist: "In this new season, there is chaos again, once more. There is chaos, and it's brutal. It's brutal. About halfway through, there is a scene in it that is the greatest moment in Traitor's history. Honestly, I just cannot wait for the world to see it. It's utter carnage and utter just mad. It's just brilliant!" It comes after David Beckham speaks 'as a father' in 'family' announcement after latest Brooklyn snub. ‌ Maura then took part in a Q&A with her followers, where she hinted that she agrees with what Alan stated. She shared one of Alan's quotes on her Instagram story before she posted a video where she described the experience as 'unique'. The reality star said: ' Do you know what's the craziest thing? Is that I actually do forget that I've done it. Like it feels so long ago but it's not that long ago. I can't obviously say much about it." She added: "But it was an experience.... I kind of went in there thinking 'yeah, this is probably going to be a piece of p***. Like, I've done the jungle, nothing's going to be harder than that. I hadn't watched the show so I didn't really understand the concept, like obviously I have heard stuff before. "But yeah, it's a unique one I will say and I'm very glad I've done it. But I can't say anything about it, very hush hush.' The update comes after Maura has had a busy few months after moving into her £1.25million five-bedroom dream home in Essex. Maura has earned an estimated £3.2 million in the years since she found fame on the ITV dating show back in 2019 and has now bought a home. ‌ Marua has reportedly snapped up a five-bedroom property in the south east of England. The semi-detached house boasts an impressive garden and has huge, floor-to-ceiling windows that allow plenty of natural light to flood in. She wrote alongside some images that she shared on her Instagram: "After the busiest few months.... she's finally in." She added a house emoji and a padlock and key emoji. ‌ The drama comes after reports suggest that Maura is heading for an awkward run-in with McFly's Danny Jones at this year's National Television Awards. It will be their first joint public appearance since they became embroiled in a scandal after they were seen kissing at a BRIT Awards after-party, despite Danny being married. Speaking to The Sun, they said: 'Danny is expected to attend the NTAs on September 10, as have all previous reigning jungle winners — and Maura is also going." The source added: 'There will have to be some clever choreography to ensure they don't end up next to each other when walking the red carpet, but they could both end up on stage if I'm A Celebrity wins. Maura won't be answering any questions about the kiss. She's put the incident behind her and feels she has nothing to be ashamed of."
