ITV News3 days ago
After more than 16 years, Oasis will return to the capital.
Following a run of homecoming gigs in Manchester's Heaton Park, the group, fronted by Gallagher brothers Liam and Noel, will take to the stage at London's Wembley Stadium on Friday.
The rock band announced their highly anticipated reunion tour in August last year, after Noel quit in 2009 after a backstage brawl at the Rock en Seine festival in Paris.
With five nights scheduled, the group posted door and stage timings on their Instagram account with an hour-by-hour breakdown of the evening.
Here are the timings:
2pm - The East Village Fan Zone will open, serving food and drinks. Fans will need to present a valid stadium ticket to enter. The stadium's bag policy also applies to anyone visiting the fan zone. Alcohol will be served until 6.30pm and the zone closes at 7pm
5pm - Gates open: Wembley advises arriving as early as possible to get through security.
6pm - Support act, rock band Cast.
7pm - Support act, singer Richard Ashcroft.
8.15pm - Oasis will take the stage for a two-hour set.
Getting there:
All three rail/underground stations serving Wembley Stadium are open.
Wembley Park Station (London Underground Jubilee and Metropolitan lines)
Wembley Stadium Station (Chiltern Railways)
Wembley Central Station (London Underground Bakerloo line, London Overground, London Midland and Southern lines
If you're an Oasis fan from overseas, you'll be able to get to Wembley Stadium from any of these international airports by train - Heathrow Airport, Gatwick Airport, Stansted Airport, London City Airport, Luton Airport or London St Pancras Station for Eurostar.
The group kicked off their Oasis Live '25 world tour on July 4 at the Principality Stadium in Cardiff, receiving five star reviews from critics at The Guardian, The Telegraph and The Times.
They are playing Wembley for five nights this summer - 25, 26, 30 July, 2, 3 August. If you missed them this time around , they'll be back on the 27 and 28 September.
The group has also dominated the UK album charts, with three top five albums, according to the Official Charts Company.
While fans were excited at the reunion, some were outraged after some standard tickets in the UK and Ireland jumped from £148 to £355.
The controversy prompted the Government and the UK's competition watchdog to pledge to look at the use of dynamic pricing.
After their final London gig on August 3, the group will move north to Edinburgh's Murrayfield Stadium before performing at Dublin's Croke Park.
The band will then head to Japan, South Korea, South America, Australia and North America.
Formed in Manchester in 1991, the band was led by lead guitarist Noel and lead vocalist Liam during their 18 years together.
Oasis signed to independent record label Creation Records in 1993, rising to fame with the release of their debut chart-topping album Definitely Maybe on August 29 1994.
They had hits with songs including Don't Look Back In Anger, Champagne Supernova, Wonderwall and Live Forever.
Dig Out Your Soul, the band's last studio album, was released in 2008, just months before the Paris row.

Lewis Capaldi puts Noel Gallagher feud behind him at Oasis gig with famous pal

The Scots singer was spotted smiling with The View frontman Kyle Falconer. Lewis Capaldi and Noel Gallagher's infamous public feud hit headlines back in 2019 but appears to now be put to bed as Lewis attended the Oasis Live 25 tour in London. ‌ The Someone You Loved singer and The View frontman Kyle Falconer were spotted smiling for the camera at Wembley stadium as they waited for Oasis to take to stage at the weekend. ‌ Kyle and his wife Laura shared the snaps on Instagram as the doting dad took his young daughter Wylde to see her favourite band. ‌ Many fans would be surprised to see Lewis at the gig given his feud with the eldest Gallagher brother, Noel. Their spat first began when Noel said during an interview on Radio X in 2019 that he didn't know who Capaldi was. Despite Lewis' debut album ,Divinely Unexpired to a Hellish Extent, having just peaked at number one in the UK and Ireland, making it the fastest selling album of the year, Noel said: "Music is f***ing w*** at the moment". ‌ He then insulted the Glasgow-born star as he said: "Who's this Capaldi fella? Who the f***'s that idiot?" However, in true Capaldi fashion, the Scots singer left fans rolling about laughing as he took to his Instagram stories to celebrate Noel's comments in a sarcastic manner. ‌ While watching the interview, he responded: "F***ing c'mon! F***ing peaked – slagged off by Noel Gallagher! "Number 1 single – who gives a f***? Number 1 album – who gives a f***? Noel Gallagher has just slagged me off. This is dreams coming true." ‌ Capaldi didn't stop there as he wished Gallagher a happy Father's Day while he filmed himself enjoying Oasis' 2002 hit 'Stop Crying Your Heart Out'. Noel was quick to hit back with a tweet that poked fun at Capaldi's track Someone You Loved. ‌ He captioned the post: "@LewisCapaldi you big daftie. You might wanna try and find some joy in your tunes, you're destroying the 11yr old is in bits." Lewis further tormented the High Flying Birds frontman with a backstage photo beside his then-estranged brother and former Oasis bandmate, Liam Gallagher. ‌ A furious Noel referenced Capaldi's stunt in an interview with Variety and took things a step further as he poked fun at Lewis' appearance. He said: "F****** Chewbacca should enjoy his 15 minutes. The greatest day of his life that I slagged him off or called him an idiot. "It's the greatest day of his f****** life so far. He's just thinking 'wow'. "Well, I know you're Scottish and all that but f****** hell. It is like a third world country but for f***'s sake, man, you must have had a better day than this. Surely." Despite their public jibes, Lewis and Noel have met a few times since, with Noel later branding Lewis as a "good lad" despite his previous comments. Join the Daily Record WhatsApp community!
