Justin Bieber Admits He Feels ‘Unqualified and Unequipped' in Candid Post Amid Concerns About His Health
Not even five Diamond certifications, two Grammy awards, and a nearly two-decade long career can keep Justin Bieber's imposter syndrome at bay. In a candid Instagram Story post, the musician opened up about feeling 'unqualified and unequipped most days.'
'People told me my whole life 'wow Justin u deserve that' and I personally have always felt unworthy. Like I was a fraud,' Bieber wrote. 'Like when people told me I deserve something. It made me feel sneaky like damn if only they knew my thoughts. How judgemental I am, how selfish I really am. They wouldn't be saying this.'

The post was set to an audio titled 'Sneaky Sneaky' and continued: 'I say all this to say. If you feel sneaky welcome to the club. I definitely feel unequipped and unqualified most days.'
The post follows weeks of speculation and concerns from fans about Bieber's well-being. In February, representatives for both Bieber and his wife, Hailey Bieber, called comments on his mental and physical health 'exhausting and pitiful and shows that despite the obvious truth, people are committed to keeping negative, salacious, harmful narratives alive.' The pair welcomed their first child, Jack Blues Bieber, in 2024.
The statement noted that Bieber recently 'ended several close friendships and business relationships that no longer served him' and has been working on new music. His most recent album, Justice, arrived in March 2021. Last year, Mk.gee revealed he had been in the studio with Bieber. 'He's searching,' the singer-songwriter said. 'Anything that comes out of his mouth: That's pop music. You can really do pretty wild stuff behind that, just because it represents something.'
Bieber's recent statement builds on concerns he previously expressed about his complicated relationship with success and his career.
'There's all these opinions. And in this industry, you've got people that unfortunately prey on people's insecurities and use that to their benefit. And so when that happens, obviously that makes you angry,' he told GQ in 2021. 'And then you're this young angry person who had these big dreams, and then the world just jades you and makes you into this person that you don't want to be. And then you wake up one day and your relationships are fucked up and you're unhappy and you have all this success in the world, but you're just like: Well, what is this worth if I'm still feeling empty inside?'

However, she appeared to be absent from the stage in London, and fans especially noticed during Saturday night's show. It's not yet clear why Marshall didn't appear onstage or if she'll be making a return soon. The concert marked Beyoncé's second of six shows at the stadium. Conan Gray Announces New Album ‘Wishbone'
Conan Gray surprised fans this morning by announcing that his fourth album, Wishbone, will be released on August 15th. The lead single, 'This Song,' is set to drop next week. Gray shared the news in a lengthy post, revealing that he had been slowly writing new music on his own, late after shows and between tours over the past two years. 'I'd come back home and write all the things I felt nobody wanted to hear,' he explained, 'maybe even the things i didn't want people to hear.' 'But over time, I began to feel something I'd never felt before,' he wrote. 'I started to need the music. I listened in airports, in long cab trips, blaring in the shower. In heartbreak, then in joy. I started to play it for my friends, and they started to need it too. In car ride requests with the windows down, in a split pair of wired headphones on the subway home. It became an egregiously niche soundtrack to our own lives in real time, singing just for us.' After playing the songs for frequent collaborator Daniel Nigro, Gray began to record the album. 'It felt like the music was reminding me who I am, at an experimental time in my twenties where 'who I am' had no definition at all,' he continued. 'My driftwood childhood in texas. My lucid summers in London. My blue striped bed sheets in my college apartment.' Gray added that every song was written by himself, in his pajamas, in his bed. Nigro, along with Ethan Gruska, Noah Conrad, Elvira Anderfjärd, and Luka Kloser, produced the album. The fantastical album cover depicts Gray dressed like a sailor floating on a pillow and holding a large wishbone of the album's namesake. 'Here's so much left to say, but I'll say it in the music,' he wrote. In a postscript to the message, he added that 'a wishbone never breaks even.' Gray released his third LP Found Heaven last April. He subsequently went on tour that summer in support of the album. He'll be playing Governors Ball in New York this June.
