£3m star joins, Kuhn leaves, 21 y/o talent signs - Celtic's dream XI if the latest transfer rumours are true
The return of Scotland international Kieran Tierney was sealed last month, while ex-Celtic academy product Ross Doohan also arrived on a free transfer from Aberdeen. The arrival of £1.2million 'bargain' Benjamin Nygren from FC Nordsjælland saw the champions open up the cheque book for the first time this summer - though it is not expected to be the last time they dip into the pot. Youngster Callum Osmand has also arrived following the expiry of his contract at Fulham.
Elsewhere, links to Royal Antwerp winger Michel-Ange Balikwisha continue to rumble on, while Celtic continue to look for strikers as they aim to add to their striking options. Cameron Carter-Vickers was linked with a £20million move to Sunderland earlier in the window, though these rumours have died down, but Nicolas Kuhn looks set to depart Parkhead this month after reports claimed Celtic had agreed a fee of £16.5million with Italian side Como.
With so the rumours continuing to float around, Celtic's squad could have a completely new look when the season gets underway on August 3 against St Mirren.
Here, The Scotsman consider how Celtic's dream starting XI would look if the latest rumours are true - though, that can never be guaranteed, as we know!
1 . GK: Kasper Schmeichel
Had a fairly solid debut campaign at Celtic, lifting two trophies as the club dominated domestically again. The goalkeeper spot is his to lose. Will face competition from Viljami Sinisalo and Ross Doohan next year for his role though. | SNS Group Photo: SNS Group Photo Sales
2 . RB: Alistair Johnston
One of the club's most important players, the Canadian was the best performing right-back in the division last season and starts whenever he is fit. | Getty Images Photo Sales
3 . LB: Kieran Tierney
Re-joined his boyhood club on a free transfer last month following his release from Arsenal. With Greg Taylor now having left Celtic, Tierney is clearly the number one choice at left-back for Brendan Rodgers. | SNS Group Photo: SNS Group Photo Sales
4 . CB: Cameron Carter-Vickers
Linked to Sunderland and Leeds United this summer, speculation around the American has died down in recent weeks and Celtic will be hoping he begins the season in a green-and-white hooped jersey. | SNS Group Photo: SNS Group Photo Sales

Giuseppe Ambrosino moves Celtic transfer goalposts as Louis Munteanu mystery cleared up
Brendan Rodgers is still looking for more firepower ahead of next week's Champions League playoff first leg Celtic-linked Giuseppe Ambrosino has made a U-turn on his future at Napoli. The Italy Under-21 youth star is one of many strikers thought to be on the radar of Parkhead scouts. However, Celts aren't the only club keeping tabs on the youngster, who is out of contract next summer. Serie A rivals Cremonese have been leading the chase to prize Ambrosino away from the Scudetto winners. The 21-year-old has been training on his own in Naples after being left out of Antonio Conte's pre-season training camp. But Italian outlet Corriere del Mezzogiorno reports that Ambrosino is determined to stay put and fight for his future in Naples. It's said that academy graduate is willing to stick around and compete with Romelu Lukaku and Lorenzo Lucca for the centre forward spot. Cremonese were confident of securing a loan deal with an option to buy but Ambrosino has now moved the goalposts. The in-demand attacker spent last season with Frosinone in Serie B where he chipped in with five goals and four assists. Meanwhile another forward Celtic have been linked with has dropped out of CFR Cluj's Europa League squad. Romanian hitman Louis Munteanu netted 25 goals last term and was reportedly the subject of a Hoops bid in January. French sides Nice and Lille have also been monitoring the goal machine - who previously insisted that he's happy in Romania. However, it emerged tonight that the 23-year-old has not travelled to Portugal for Thursday's Europa League showdown with Braga. That prompted rumours that Munteanu could be edging towards an exit. But Cluj president Cristi Balaj quelled the speculation by revealing Munteanu had been ruled out through injury. He told DigiSport: "Louis Munteanu has a minor muscle problem. It's a contracture. When you have a contracture and you don't follow the treatment for a few days, you risk a muscle tear." David Gray spells out Hibs second leg danger - but protection is not part of the plan

David Gray urged his Hibs players to go all out for victory as they bid to kill off Partizan Belgrade and book their place in the Conference League play-off round. The Hibees pulled off a 2-0 win in Serbia last Thursday to put themselves firmly in the driving seat to face the loser of the tie between AEK Larnaca and Legia Warsaw in the next round. Advertisement Hide Ad Advertisement Hide Ad But Gray is not taking progress for granted and has urged his side, who squandered a 2-0 lead in Sunday's 2-2 draw at home to Kilmarnock in the William Hill Premiership, go into Thursday's second leg at Easter Road with the mindset that the tie is still level. (Photo by Ewan Bootman / SNS Group) | SNS Group 'It's half-time in the tie, nothing's been achieved yet, other than we're in a brilliant position,' said the Hibs boss on Wednesday. 'But it's 0-0 in this game. We go into every single game trying to win the game, and we'll be no different going in tomorrow night with that mindset. 'If you try and hold on and protect and protect and protect, you'll leave yourself exposed, so I will definitely be approaching the game as if it's 0-0 with all to play for. 'We know the threat and the danger that Partizan possess. But it's another sell-out at Easter Road, European night, under the lights. We know how good the atmosphere was in the Midtjylland game and I expect it to be exactly the same again. Everything's geared up for a fantastic night, hopefully.' (Photo by Ewan Bootman / SNS Group) | SNS Group 'They will come and have a go' Hibs capitalised on Partizan being reduced to 10 men last week and Gray remains wary of the threat posed by the Serbs, who won 7-2 at Napredak on Sunday. 'They'll be full of confidence,' said the manager, who welcomes Nicky Cadden back from injury. 'They made a few changes on Sunday and had good players coming in so whatever eleven they select, they'll be good players. 'They're a young, fearless side, we saw that when they went down to 10 men because they still threw absolutely everything at it. I fully expect it to be exactly the same again with the intensity, the way they press, the way they come after us, and they've got real good quality technical players. 'It'll be another huge test for us and we need to be at our very best to make sure we get a positive result.
