FRANKIE DETTORI has been confirmed for a shock link-up with a British trainer in a £2.6million race 'too good to turn down'.
The legendary rider, who filed for bankruptcy earlier this year, has prize money earnings exceeding £2.5m in the States in 2025 alone.

Dettori, 54, made the move to the US after opting to leave Britain behind for the second half of his career.
But at this year's Royal Ascot he said would 'never say never' to racing here again.
And John Gosden revealed he had enquired about the ride on odds-on favourite Field Of Gold in the Sussex Stakes at Glorious Goodwood.
Dettori actually dodged a bullet there as 150-1 Qirat - only in the race as pacemaker to Field Of Gold - produced one of the biggest shocks in racing history.
But his links to Blighty continue to grow stronger since his move across the Atlantic - and the latest is with James Owen.
His 'exciting' Wimbledon Hawkeye has taken up the chance to run in the money-spinning Nashville Derby later this month.
The three-year-old colt was second to Field Of Gold in the Craven in April and his form has been franked massively since then.
He was a two-length second to subsequent Godolphin Group 1 scorer El Cordobes at Newmarket.
And he was pipped just a nose by William Haggas' Arc de Triomphe hope Merchant when last seen at Goodwood.
Andrew Balding won the Nashville Derby with Dettori on Bellum Justum last year.
And Owen says he moved quickly to secure the services of the Italian this time round.
He told the Racing Post: "Wimbledon Hawkeye has been invited for the Nashville Derby and with $3.5m up for grabs it looks too good an opportunity to turn down.
"The trip is just over ten furlongs, which should be ideal for him, and we've already booked Frankie for the ride."

Gianluigi Donnarumma's agent blasts PSG and provides update as 'terms agreed' with Man City

Gianluigi Donnarumma's agent has opened fire on PSG and their treatment of the goalkeeper with his time in Paris up as Manchester City look to swoop in and sign him Gianluigi Donnarumma is set for the PSG exit door and Manchester City have come forward as a likely suitor as the Italian's situation in Paris looks to be irretrievable. Fallout has intensified after a changing of the guard in between the sticks. ‌ The goalkeeper, who helped the French giants claim Champions League glory last term, has found himself shunned by manager Luis Enrique and is not in the squad for Wednesday's European Super Cup clash with Tottenham. New signing Lucas Chevalier has come straight in and is set to be the first choice. ‌ City have wasted no time in seizing on the situation. They have reached an agreement in principle with Donnarumma regarding personal terms, according to L'Equipe. The goalkeeper has already engaged in positive discussions with City boss Pep Guardiola as those at the Etihad look to swoop in. ‌ It could open the door for Ederson, who has been linked with a move away, to join Galatasaray as those in Manchester continue to overhaul their squad. Donnarumma's agent Enzo Raiola, who has been left fuming by the situation, admits England is a serious option. He said: 'We will consider solutions now, maybe in Premier League there will be clubs able to pay what's needed. Paris Saint-Germain are asking for big money. They talk about respect, but it's only about the money. He =added: 'We are shocked by PSG. There's zero respect by the club after 4 years together. We will consider the situation also with our legal team. Gigio was even ready to reduce his salary but PSG changed the conditions again', told Sky Sport. Initial reports had claimed the Italian would be available for around £26million, but others have suggested it could be as high as £40m. City deem the second figure to be too high and may need to negotiate with the Parisians if they are to land the 26-year-old, who has also been linked with Manchester United. Donnarumma's situation has escalated after a contract fall-out, which has reportedly seen the Italian ask for a 50 percent hike on his current £210,000 per week salary - although that contradicts what his agent says - despite PSG wanting to change their wage structure. And on Tuesday he vented his frustration at being forced out by Luis Enrique. He posted on Instagram: 'Unfortunately, someone has decided that I can no longer be part of the group and contribute to the team's success. I am disappointed and disheartened. I hope to have the opportunity to look the fans at the Parc des Princes in the eyes one more time and say goodbye as it should be done.' Wimbledon Hawkeye teaming up with Dettori for Kentucky bid

The son of Kameko – who won the Group Two Royal Lodge as a juvenile – gave William Haggas' potential Arc contender Merchant a fright in Goodwood's Gordon Stakes and his trainer feels the colt has all the attributes to thrive at Kentucky Downs in a $3.5million event won by Andrew Balding's Bellum Justum 12 months ago. Explaining the decision to head Stateside, Owen said: 'After his good run at Goodwood we were invited over for the race and I think it looks ideal, the track will suit him. Wimbledon Hawkeye winning at Newmarket as a juvenile (Mike Egerton/PA) 'Bellum Justum won it last year after doing well in the Gordon Stakes and I think Wimbledon Hawkeye is the ideal horse for it really. 'He has a very good mind, he'll travel over well and handle the whole experience well and he's shown us this year how tough he is by holding his form really well. 'It's great prize-money and hopefully he can go over there with a great chance.' It will be a first runner in America for Owen, who will be hoping for kinder weather at the Franklin track than that which greeted Wimbledon Hawkeye at Goodwood recently. James Owen is looking forward to heading over to America (Mike Egerton/PA) And the icing on the cake for the Newmarket handler has been securing the services of Dettori, who was in fact aboard the victorious Bellum Justum last year and is no stranger to Wimbledon Hawkeye's owners the Gredley family. 'It's great that Frankie can ride him and he's had a lot of success for the Gredleys before and even won the race last year on Bellum Justum,' continued Owen. 'We don't have to take a jockey over which is another plus and having Frankie is a little cherry on top for us and a big part of the decision to go over, it's lovely to have him. 'He's never ridden for me, but I'm looking forward to it.'

Gianluigi Donnarumma's Spurs absence speaks volumes and could change Premier League season

Gianluigi Donnarumma has confirmed he will leave Paris Saint-Germain this summer after a heated contract dispute, and the Italian is good enough to change the upcoming Premier League season Instead of facing Tottenham in the Super Cup in his homeland tonight, the best shot-stopping goalkeeper in Europe is up for sale. ‌ And the signing of the giant Gianluigi Donnarumma by Chelsea or Manchester City would boost their Premier League title hopes or make Manchester United genuine Champions League candidates. The 6ft 5in stopper, with the wingspan of a 747, will have that size of impact at his next club. ‌ The Italian captain - who announced he will be leaving PSG on Tuesday - first tormented English fans by saving spot kicks from Jadon Sancho and Bukayo Saka in the Euro 2020 final penalty shootout. ‌ And the former Milan keeper, still only 26, caused heartbreak for Manchester City, Liverpool, Aston Villa and Arsenal fans as he inspired Paris Saint-Germain to their first Champions League trophy. But only 73 days after the French club's triumph over Inter Milan - and only five days after he was the only goalkeeper named in the Ballon D'Or shortlist - Donnarumma's career at PSG is over in ruthless fashion. While the Champions League winners flew to Udine to face the Europa Cup winners yesterday, the Italy goalkeeper trained alone at the back at the Campus PSG while the club awaits offers for his signature. Last season's all-action hero, popular with his fellow players and fans, will not play for the Qatari-owned club again. At least Marie Antoinette had a trial before she was guillotined in Paris. Donnarumma is out of contract next summer and year-long negotiations to agree a new deal have now stopped. He signed on a free transfer from Milan in 2021 on a gross salary of €10m (£8.64m). After tax breaks and bonuses, his current net annual salary has been £6.5m. ‌ PSG are now offering players lower basic wages with more performance-related bonuses and Donarumma refused the effective pay cut despite his desire to remain in the City of Light. There was a similar standoff with Kylian Mbappe two summers ago when he refused to sign a new deal and he was excluded from a summer tour to Asia. He was reintegrated back into the group after giving up millions of Euros in bonuses and then used less after Christmas when it was clear he was still leaving for Real Madrid. ‌ This time PSG have already signed Donnarumma's replacement. Ligue 1 Goalkeeper of the Year Lucas Chevalier joined this weekend in a €55m deal from Lille, the former club of PSG director of football Luis Campos. And the 23-year-old was bought with the backing of Luis Enrique and guaranteed he will be No.1. The PSG announcement welcoming the signing of Chevalier claimed he is: 'Comfortable on his line, in one-on-one situations, and in the air, he also has excellent distribution skills'. ‌ It was interpreted by the Italian media and Donnarumma's camp as a dig at the Azzurri keeper's ability with his feet. Former Milan keeper Christian Abbiati told Gazzetta dello Sport: "There's something crazy about all this. I would say he won more than half the Champions League for them. And yet, from what I hear, it seems he's bad with his feet. "We can say that there are many players better with their feet than him, but from there to replacing a goalkeeper who has put a Champions League title in your trophy cabinet! In Europe he's made unbelievable saves, saves that few would have been capable of making. 'Someone of his calibre will certainly land on his feet and go to another big club, although it's a shame he has to end like this. I wish him the best because he deserves it."
