Gangster Mark Richardson's younger brother 'battered' at Edinburgh Oasis gig
Cocaine kingpin Mark Richardson 's brother was reportedly "attacked by thugs" at an Oasis gig in Edinburgh.
Dale Richardson, 37, is said to have been set about by "several people" after the reunion concert at Murrayfield Stadium earlier this month. A group of young men in their early twenties allegedly jumped Richardson.
A source told our sister title, Edinburgh Live: "His brother's in jail - but Dale is a quiet guy who coaches football. He's not a gangster but I think he's getting himself involved with stuff where he's going to end up badly hurt or worse."
They continued: "The Richardson crew have been terrorised by TMJ for months with very little retaliation. He is embarrassed, especially with everything that's went on."
Associates of caged Richardson have been targeted for months in an ongoing turf war with Dubai-based Mr Big Ross McGill and the shadowy TMJ - or Tamo Junto - group of hoods he is believed to control.
It remains unclear what injuries his brother sustained during the incident.
They source added: "Dale got attacked again but as far as I know it was after the gig then he copped it but it wasn't meant to be a serious attack like what Baigrie did to him with a machete."
In November 2021 George 'Dode' Baigrie launched a sinister attack on Dale Richardson in the middle of a Tesco supermarket in Gracemount. Police had warned Baigrie earlier that day there were threats to his safety.
Baigrie then went out armed with a machete and carried out the brutal assault in front of terrified shoppers. He was jailed for 15 years in February 2025.
Dale was again targeted in the ongoing gang war when his home was damaged in May. Images from the time showed blue tarpaulin covering a window on the ground floor as police were called to the address.
The alleged Oasis attack on Dale came before Tamo Junto, the gang behind a series of firebombings and retribution attacks across Edinburgh and Glasgow, allegedly carried out an attack on a private hire firm on Gorgie Road.
Capital Cars caught fire around 3am on Sunday with two men, aged 25 and 26, later arrested and charged.
Tamo Junto later took credit for the incident in a video, saying "Your friends stole from us and we aren't going away. There are a lot more of us than you think."
The video also mocked Dale's Oasis run-in, posting: "Did Dale enjoy Oasis?", with fist and laughing emojis.
A series of shootings and firebombings have rocked Edinburgh since March - understood to have been triggered after an associate of Richardson ripped off McGill in a £500,000 cocaine deal paid for with fake notes.

Knife-carrying man caused Meliden school to be locked down
Peri Johnson, 29, of Ffordd Pennant, was jailed for a year at Mold Crown Court today (August 20) for what was described as 'extreme' and 'unjustifiable' behaviour. Johnson had previously admitted charges of possession of a bladed article in public, and threatening behaviour. Prosecutor William Griffin said that on June 24, a dispute broke out between Johnson and another man, Liam Richardson. Mr Richardson later sent Johnson a Facebook message, warning him that whatever had happened should not be repeated. He later attended Johnson's home, and a 'frank exchange of words' ensued between them, with Johnson telling him it was 'game on,' and Mr Richardson responding in kind. After Mr Richardson walked away from Johnson's home, the defendant followed him down towards a playing field, with a large silver kitchen knife in his hand. A nearby after-school club had to be locked down as a result of safety concerns, meanwhile. Mr Richardson started to record Johnson on his phone, which prompted him to tell Mr Johnson to 'put the camera away like a real man'. Children could be seen screaming and asking Johnson not to do anything as he continued to follow Mr Richardson. Johnson was arrested later that evening when officers attended his home; when interviewed by police, he accepted that he 'lost his temper' at Mr Richardson. His nine previous convictions include two for possession of a bladed article in public. Representing him, Simon Killeen said he is a qualified chef and is now 'completely off drugs and alcohol'. Mr Killeen added that there are 'some seedlings of promise that he can fit back into the community' upon his release from custody. He has a partner, who attended today's sentencing, who has children with whom he 'clearly has a significant attachment'. Johnson was also said to have a 'very close bond' with his mother, and to suffer from mental health issues. Sentencing, Judge Rhys Rowlands told Johnson: 'You didn't start this incident, but you reacted to it in an extreme and wholly unjustifiable way. 'This is the third time that you've taken a knife out onto the street.' The kitchen knife was ordered to be forfeited and destroyed.

More info A group of brazen East Lothian youths were caught on camera appearing to take cans of booze before "running out of the store". The incident took place on Saturday, Tuesday, August 19 at the Day Today on Bridge Street in Tranent. Shopkeepers claimed a group of teens entered the shop, one as young as eight or nine, and took several cans of Four Loko, an alcoholic beverage. CCTV footage from the convenience store seems to show the youths entering the shop and heading to the drinks cooler. They appear to select several cans of the alcoholic beverage and slip them inside their coats. Another clip seems to show them exiting the shop without paying. Police confirmed they are looking into a report of theft at the Bridge Street store. (Image: Supplied) Shopkeepers told Edinburgh Live: "Today, three underage individuals entered our shop — two girls, around 13 to 14 years old, and one boy, around eight or nine years old. "While inside, they took three cans of Four Loko and handed them to the younger boy before running out of the store. "This is a serious matter, as it involves alcohol and underage children. We have recorded the incident on our CCTV and are reporting it to the relevant authorities. "We're sharing this to keep our community aware and to remind parents/guardians to be mindful of what their children are doing. "As a local business, we work hard to serve our customers honestly, and situations like this are very concerning." The Day Today in Tranent has reported theft consistently in the past. Edinburgh Live recently reported on a man who allegedly swapped a vodka bottle for one he had filled with water. Family ‘thought bomb had gone off' when ‘drunk driver' ploughed through living room
A family of four 'thought a bomb had gone off' when a suspected drunk driver crashed into their living room. The home of Alex and Wayne Richardson in Strelley, Nottingham, was left with a gaping hole in its facade after the incident early on Sunday. Mrs Richardson, 44, said she feared their home was on fire after the Vauxhall Astra careered off a roundabout, through a hedge and into their home. 'The car went through the hedge, over the little wall in the garden, through the window into the living across the room and then into the kitchen wall,' she said. 'How lucky we were to have been [upstairs]. If it had been to the left or the right, we wouldn't have been able to stay in the property, we would have been killed.' Nottinghamshire Police arrested a 22-year-old man who fled the scene on suspicion of a series of offences including drink-driving. He has since been released on bail. Mrs Richardson said she rushed her two children, aged 15 and 12, to their car before they realised that the Astra had crashed into the house. 'My husband said it was as if a bomb had gone off,' she said. 'We bolted upright, saying, 'What was that?'. 'My husband ran down, and I followed him. The dust was so thick that I honestly thought the house was on fire, so I was screaming at the kids 'to get up and put on some clothes - we've got to get out now!' 'It was horrendous, I'm 44 and it's the scariest thing I've ever been through. I've had a car accident before, but this was way scarier. My concern was all about the kids, getting the dog out of the house. We got in the car and out of the house. 'The police responded really quickly, and then the fire engines came within minutes of them. We weren't allowed in the house until a structural engineer came and looked. It was quite a few hours before he had been. They were really good with us.' The family thought their pet tortoise had died in the crash – only for it to be found alive. 'Every living being in the property survived, luckily,' Mrs Richardson said. 'We are all shaken up, obviously. My daughter couldn't even stay in the house because she feels so traumatised.
