Shuvee Etrata, Anthony Constantino exude rom-com charm in ‘Unang Hirit' segment ‘Almuserye'
In the episode, Shuvee portrays Vee, the younger sister of Jay, played by UH's resident chef JR Royol, while Anthony takes on the role of Tony, Vhie's suitor.
Presented in split screen, the series launch featured Vee in the 'Unang Hirit' studio and Tony at a wet market, assisting Jay in collecting fish.
To win both Jay's approval and Vee's heart, Tony eagerly helps with market chores and cooking escabeche.
While doing some market chores, Tony charmed Vee with some pick-up lines.
'Google ka ba? Cause you're everything I'm searching for,' he said, sending Vee into a kilig frenzy.
'Sabi ko na nga ba eh! Worth the wait,' Vee responded by making a half-heart on the screen, which Tony completed with his own.
As the first episode came to a close, viewers were left hanging, eager to see whether Tony would earn Jay's approval to pursue Vee—a question that will unfold in the episodes to come.
Fans will see more AnVee crumbs in Jenzen Guino's 'Marupok' music video, which will mark Anthony and Shuvee's first project together.
The music video is set to be released on August 22 at 8:00 p.m.
Shuvee was among the 20 housemates of 'Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition.' She and her fellow housemates recently reunited for 'The Big ColLove' concert at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.
During the concert, Shuvee gave a shoutout to Anthony, once again saying that he is her TDH—tall, dark, and handsome.
Anthony was one of the people who welcomed Shuvee back to the outside world after she and Klarisse de Guzman were evicted from Bahay ni Kuya.
The model, who signed with Sparkle earlier this year, has been courting Shuvee even before she joined PBB.
Meanwhile, Shuvee currently appears in "Encantadia Chronicles: Sang'gre" as Veshdita, a Mine-a-ve warrior.
