'Update: bought a life vest that fits!' the mom of four wrote over a screenshot of an infant life vest. 'Good looking out. Honestly didn't think about some of the dangers,' Kardashian Barker continued. 'Thank you for making me aware and hopefully this helps make other mommies aware of the dangers of certain types of boating without a life vest.' Other images included in her Aug. 8 post indicated that Kardashian Barker was in Idaho, where it is required that children 14 years of age and younger must wear a life vest while on the water. Fans expressed concern on social media about Kardashian Barker's move to not have her youngest child wear protective gear during the boat outing. 'Great photo except for the fact the child has no life jacket on,' one person wrote in the comments section of her post. 'You can make those kinds of decisions for yourself. But don't make a decision like that for your child. PLEASE," they added. A user on Reddit said, "Rocky should be wearing a life jacket. Such dangerous neglect," as another wrote, "Kids on boats should always be wearing appropriate life vests, and it looks like it's sitting in the seat right next to them." 'C'mon Kourt. You both should be wearing life jackets ... everyone on that boat should be,' one other person commented on Instagram. Kourtney Kardashian On Rocky Not Wearing A Vest On Boat
This weekend, Kourtney Kardashian Barker took to Instagram to share a collection of moments from throughout the summer. Among them were images of her boating with her 1-year-old son, Rocky, whom she shares with husband Travis Barker. Kourtney, of course, also shares a daughter, Penelope, 13, and sons Mason, 15, and Reign, 10, with her ex Scott Disick. One image showed Kourtney sitting in the back of the boat in what appears to be a bikini with a towel wrapped around her waist. Rocky rested on her chest, wearing a simple black T-shirt and tan bottoms. "Food for the soul ✨," Kourtney wrote in the post, which included other moments of her and her family in nature, including a clip of Kourtney jumping from a cliff and into water while others were swimming below. In the comments, many viewers immediately expressed concern over Rocky not wearing a life jacket. "No life jacket???" one comment with dozens of likes read in part. "Your son needs a life jacket!" another said as a third person reminded Kourtney that it's better to be "safe than sorry." "Put a life jacket on that kid for f sakes," someone wrote, as another called their actions "very dangerous." "C'mon Kourt," one more added. "You both should be wearing on that boat should be." Kourtney later took to Instagram to address the situation and thank fans for "looking out." Sharing a picture of a new infant life vest, she wrote, "Update: bought a life vest that fits!" She also admitted that she "honestly didn't think about some of the dangers" of boating before taking her son out on the water without proper equipment. During the video, Kourtney stood behind her sisters, with just her head sticking out, leading some to think she was intentionally "hiding" to conceal a baby bump.
