Whoopi Goldberg is answering your prayers and giving an update on Sister Act 3.
More than four years after she first confirmed the film was in the works, the EGOT winner shared where the movie-making process stands following the death of costar Maggie Smith.'I had hoped to get it done before Maggie passed, and we weren't able to do that,' Whoopi told Zuri Hall during Live From E!: The Oscars on March 2 (see every star on the red carpet at L.A.'s Dolby Theatre here). 'But they have the script now, so fingers are crossed.'
Both actresses appeared in the original 1992 movie Sister Act—in which Whoopi plays Vegas singer Deloris Van Cartier who hides out in a convent run by Maggie's character Mother Superior and turns a struggling choir into a successful group performing beloved hits—as well as in the 1993 sequel Sister Act 2: Back in the Habit. While The View host originally announced in 2020 that a third Sister Act movie was being made, she noted they had to make some changes after the Downton Abbey star died at the age of 89 in September 2024.

Suge Knight Addresses Diddy's Sex Trafficking Trial: 'Tell The Real Truth, And Bring Everybody Accountable'
Source: Kevork Djansezian / Getty As we enter the fourth week of Diddy's sex trafficking and racketeering case, many of Diddy's former acquaintances have been put on the stand, and now one of his biggest enemies is speaking out. Suge Knight spoke to ABC News, and despite the two being on opposite sides and catalysts behind the decades-old East Coast-West Coast beef, he's not putting all the blame on Diddy for his sexual behaviors, claiming others were involved but falling short of naming anyone. 'If you're going to make Puffy answer, make everyone answer,' Knight began. 'Change the theme of the culture of the problems in Hip-Hop. I think it'd be a great thing to let Puffy tell his truth. Tell the real truth, and bring everybody accountable.' Knight adds that Diddy's freak offs may have become public knowledge in 2023 due to Cassie's lawsuit, but they had been happening long before and were an open secret in the Hip-Hop world. 'Everybody knew that,' Knight said. 'Puffy didn't just pop in the industry and say, 'hey, I want to have sex with everybody.' I mean, we don't have enough time to name all the names.' Suge Knight speaks out about Sean 'Diddy' Combs sex trafficking case. — ABC News (@ABC) June 2, 2025 Knight, who's currently serving a 28-year sentence for a fatal hit and run in 2015, has been mentioned 50 times in Diddy's trial. Most recently, he was a topic of discussion when Diddy's former assistant Capricorn Clark took the stand. She revealed that once Diddy found out that she used to work for Knight, her new boss told her he'd kill her if anything sketchy happened. Diddy's lawyer Marc Agnifilo pressed Clark on why she'd continue to work for someone who was allegedly so dangerous, but Knight points out that it's because of how much power Diddy had. Knight said he felt bad for Clark and applauded her for her ambition and desire to succeed in the entertainment industry. 'A lot of people might say, well, Capricorn could have did anything else she wanted to do. She did try,' Knight said. 'If you go get a job at Universal and Puffy makes a phone call, you're not getting that job. If you go get a job at a counter agency or in the movie business and Puff make that call, your career is over.' Even with their long-standing beef, Knight doesn't think prosecutors should take 'Puffy and lock him up and throw away the key,' because he thinks he can 'do so much good right now.' Knight advises that he take the stand to tell the truth and take a plea deal, which he already turned down ahead of the trial. View this post on Instagram A post shared by Akademiks TV (@djakademikstv) Knight also turned heads recently during another phone interview with Piers Morgan, where he claimed Diddy and Ray J were romantically involved. 'Ray J and Puffy was definitely lovers,' Knight claimed. 'Puffy allegedly gave him $10 million dollars to put out an album about the two brothers loving each other.' Kristin Cavallari's Kids Make Debut Appearance on Mom's Podcast— and Share How They Really Feel About Filming Their Reality Series
Kristin Cavallari's three kids are sharing what they really think about filming their new reality TV series. On Tuesday, June 3, the Laguna Beach alum's kids Camden, 12, Jaxon, 11, and Saylor, 9, appeared on her podcast Let's Be Honest for the first time and spoke with their mom about a variety of topics, including what they thought about filming the family's new TV series Honestly Cavallari. "Some of it was boring and then some of it was fun," Saylor answers when her mom asks what she thought of filming. "What part was boring?" asks Cavallari. "Just when we'd talk," Saylor says. "It's not like we talk like a family ever," jokes Camden. Cavallari again asks her daughter what part was boring, to which she responds, "No, when we were just sitting down." Never miss a story — sign up for to stay up-to-date on the best of what PEOPLE has to offer, from celebrity news to compelling human interest stories. The proud mom then asks all three of her kids what was the most fun about filming the show. "Them putting the mic on you and then you'd be like, 'Check check,' and then they'd look at you and be like," Camden says, showing a thumbs up at the end. "You guys loved having a microphone," says Cavallari. She then asks if her kids liked the show after watching the first episode, to which they all say yes. Cavallari also asks if the experience of filming was what they expected. "I just thought they'd come, put some cameras up, put some mics and then we'd just talk and film," says Camden. Cavallari goes on to say that filming this show was one of the easiest experiences for her since they were just told to be themselves. "I don't think any of it was really scripted except the last part," admits Camden. "She told us some questions to ask you." View this post on Instagram A post shared by Kristin Cavallari (@kristincavallari) Earlier this month, Cavallari shared why she's been posting photos of her kids and letting them join her on her new TV series after previously not sharing them on social media. While speaking to PEOPLE ahead of the premiere of her new E! docuseries, the mom of three shared that her children have been eager to get in on the spotlight. "They have been asking me for years to post them. I guess it was maybe a year and a half ago that I finally posted Camden. He's almost 13, Saylor is 9 — she'll be 10 in the fall. It's sort of the curse of being the second or the third kid. They just sort of naturally do what the oldest is doing. In my perfect world, would they all be 12 [before] deciding if they were posted? Sure. But also, it's just not realistic," she said. For most of the kids' childhood, Cavallari refrained from showing their faces online. Now that they're a little older, she said, she's enjoying being able to fully share them with her audience. "It is nice for me to be able to show that with people because my kids are the biggest part of my life. They always have been since I became a mom," said Cavallari. "And I could only let people in so much without showing my kids, so to be able to now share that world with everybody? People [can] see at the end of the day, I am just a normal mom. That is my life." Read the original article on People
