Brian Kelly and the LSU Tigers have added another piece to an already impressive 2026 class. Four-star offensive lineman, Emanuel Tucker, announced his commitment to the Tigers on Thursday afternoon.

Tucker is a 6-foot-7, 295-pound offensive tackle from New Albany, Mississippi, and he chose the Tigers over two in state schools: the Ole Miss Rebels and Mississippi State Bulldogs. Tucker was formerly committed to Mississippi State before reopening his recruitment and committing to the Tigers.

Tucker ranks as the No. 203 overall recruit and No. 16 offensive tackle in the 2026 class according to the On3 Industry Rankings. He becomes the third offensive lineman to commit to the Tigers in 2026, joining four-star offensive tackle, Brysten Martinez, and three-star interior offensive lineman, Jalan Chapman.
Tucker made a trip to Baton Rouge this past week where the Tigers seemed to have sealed the deal with the four-star. After the official visit, it seemed LSU were the favorites for his commitment.
LSU's 2026 class, which is headlined by five-stars Tristen Keys and Richard Anderson, still ranks second in the country behind the USC Trojans, who have 28 commits to LSU's 10. Both programs have held the top spot at some point in these past few months, and the Tigers are making their case to secure the top spot in the rankings.
Nine of LSU's 10 commits rank inside On3's top-300 prospect rankings. Jalan Chapman is the only one outside of the top-300 at this time.

This is another nice addition to a 2026 class that looks to be one of the best in the country when it's all said and done.

Two Georgia Bulldogs make freshman All-American team

Georgia football will have to rely on some young players contributing to reach their goals for the season. On3 dropped their freshman All-American team and Georgia has two players on that list. On offense, offensive lineman Juan Gaston was a selection. The freshman is listed at 6-foot-7, 360-pounds is in a three-man competition for the starting right guard job. Gaston has amazing size and head coach Kirby Smart has said that he has been getting into better shape since being an early enrollee. Gaston was ranked a five-star recruit and the nation's No. 18 ranked player, per 247Sports. On defense, highly-touted defensive lineman Elijah Griffin was another Georgia freshman All-American selection. The 6-foot-4, 310-pound defensive lineman already has drawn comparisons to Georgia great and All-Pro defensive tackle Jalen Carter. Griffin is the headliner of this freshmen class that could see several key contributors for the Bulldogs. Expect to see Griffin, a former five-star recruit, to put his talent on display on Saturday for the Bulldogs early and often. Griffin was ranked as the consensus No. 1 defensive lineman and a top-five recruit across all recruiting services. Three Georgia Bulldogs also earned USA TODAY Sports preseason All-American honors.
