The son of iconic singer Cher, Elijah Blue Allman, sparked concern in disturbing footage as he appeared to be in a "zombie-like" state in soaring Californian heat
Shocking footage of Cher's son appearing "zombie-like" in intense heat has emerged. The disturbing scenes show Elijah Blue Allman being spoken to by law enforcement officers.
The footage came shortly before he was rushed to hospital high on drugs. He was seen receiving medical care after he was found by a friend standing 'statue still' in a garden. He is said to have appeared to be in a 'foggy, zombie-like' state during the ordeal.

According to witnesses from the area, the 48-year-old was badly sunburned and had swollen hands and feet. He was seen standing still in the 104F (40C) heat in California.

Footage of the incident was obtained by the Sun. The publication said police searched an AirBnb property, reportedly owned by his friend and Matthew Perry's ex Kayti Edwards, after he was taken to hospital. In the images, it appeared as though heroin and white fentanyl powder was visible across a side-table. There was also rolled up paper visible.
A "Danger" sign was later stuck to the property by they San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department. The notice pinned to the front window explained "evidence of fentanyl" had been discovered. There was also Ring doorbell footage of Elijah looking unsteady on his feet.
Speaking of the situation and Elijah's condition, a friend told The Sun: "Kayti found him just standing there, unresponsive in her front yard, getting badly sunburned.
"He was blinking his eyes rapidly, but didn't acknowledge her at all. His hands and feet were also swollen, with scabs turning black, an affect of the drugs, that was what most concerned Kayti."
The insider claimed Elijah had been staying at the property for over a week after reaching out to his friend. "She met with him and took him out for dinner with her family and he stayed at a house she rents out, but she grew more and more worried about his odd behaviour," they added.

In a statement given to The Sun, pal Kayti said: 'Elijah and I have been close since we were teens. Although the whole thing that happened was really scary for me it could have been a lot worsened I am glad he's in a safe spot getting better.'
Earlier in the week, news of Elijah's hospitalisation was revealed. According to TMZ at the time, Elijah, who iconic singer Cher shares with the late Gregg Allman, is "very lucky to have survived."
An insider told the publication: "Cher is focusing on "doing everything she can to get him the help he needs". They added: "Just like any mother, Cher's only concern right now is for her son's well-being, and she's doing everything she can to get him the help he needs."
Elijah has a history of substance abuse. Two years ago his mum filed for a conservatorship to control his access to his money. The singer had previously claimed he was "substantially unable to manage his own financial resources due to severe mental health and substance abuse issues."

Five free games for iPhone, Android and iPad you'll actually play for hours – you won't touch your PS5 or Xbox for weeks

Click to share on X/Twitter (Opens in new window) Click to share on Facebook (Opens in new window) THERE'S no end of games for your phones and tablets – but plenty of them are a bit rubbish. I'm The Sun's tech editor and I've spent hundreds of hours tapping and swiping my way through mobiles games to find the best free gems that you'll actually want to play. Sign up for Scottish Sun newsletter Sign up 16 Wild Rift is a mobile version of League of Legends Credit: Riot Games 16 The game has an all-star cast of characters – and you may recognise some of them from hit Netflix animated series Arcane Credit: Riot Games 16 You'll battle for control of a map in a bid to destroy the opposing team's Nexus Credit: Riot Games In fact, I'm convinced this lot of titles is so good that you'll even snub your PS5 or Xbox – at least for the moment. Better still, all five of them are available on iPhone, Android, and iPad, so there's something for everyone. These games are truly brilliant, with hours of replayability, immense depth, and no upfront fees to play. Best mobile game #1 – Wild Rift First on my list is Wild Rift, which is a mobile version of PC gaming mega-hit League of Legends. It's a fantasy MOBA (multiplayer online battle arena) where two teams face off with the aim of dominating a battleground. There are dozens of magical and mystical characters to play, each with different abilities. And though it's easy to pick up, it could you take years to truly master. As you progress through the game, you'll find yourself battling more skilled players, so you'll never be short of a challenge. And Riot Games' Wild Rift is constantly being updated with new characters, modes, and mini-games, so there's always something to do. Best mobile game #2 – Polytopia Polytopia is a fiendishly replayable "4X" game – that stands for Explore, Expand, Exploit, and Exterminate. All through your phone screen. The game is turn-based and involves a decent amount of strategy, and is easily paused for you to come back later. It also works offline, so this is a great option for flights. It feels far easier to pick up than the hit Civilisation game series – and is bright, colourful, and suits shorter gameplay sessions. You can ramp up the difficulty of the AI, the number of enemies, and size of the map for extended games – or trim it all back for a quick session. 16 You invest points in a talent tree to customise your gameplay style Credit: Midjiwan AB 16 You're tasked with dominating and destroying opposing tribes Credit: Midjiwan AB And because there are so many different tribes with different perks, you can come at the game from lots of different play-styles. Best mobile game #3 – Kingdom Rush Kingdom Rush is an entire series of games that kicked off back in 2011. They're not all free, but the first one is – and it's a cracker. Kingdom Rush is a tower defence game set in a medieval fantasy realm where you control wizards, archers, and knights to fend off baddies. 16 Kingdom Rush is one of the best tower defence games for mobile devices Credit: Ironhide Game Studio 16 You'll upgrade your defences to stop a horde of baddies Credit: Ironhide Game Studio Your reinforcements and power-ups get more sophisticated as you progress through increasingly difficult levels. And the thrill of creating a truly epic defence is like no other. The Kingdom Rush games are fun and don't take themselves too seriously. They're also easy to pick up, with relatively short levels that can easily be enjoyed on a commute or during a lunch break. And you'll probably find yourself wanting to pay for the sequels. I certainly did. 16 Waves of baddies become stronger as the game progresses – but your ability to defend yourself improves too Credit: Ironhide Game Studio MOBILE GAMING – THE GAME HAS CHANGED Here's a quick take from The Sun's tech editor Sean Keach... Back in the day, most mobile games were cheap and cheerful – but no match for console titles. Soon game makers clocked on to the fact that pretty much everyone has a smartphone and/or tablet. And very few people have consoles by comparison. So developers have poured huge amounts of money into making mobile games, resulting in plenty of brilliant console-rivalling titles. Pair that with the fact that the latest phones and tablets have very impressive computing power, pixel-dense displays, and access to fast internet, and you'll soon find you've basically got a console in your pocket. You can also upgrade your phone or tablet by connecting a Bluetooth controller (like the PlayStation's DualSense joypad) for more console-like gaming. And you could also enjoy actual console games by using a game streaming service like Xbox Cloud Gaming. You'll save money on a console, and get even more value out of the mobile you're already paying for. Mobile gaming is a no-brainer! Picture Credit: Sean Keach Best mobile game #4 – Old School RuneScape RuneScape is such a global hit that it almost needs no introduction. This is the relaunched 2013 "old school" version of the hit massively-multiplayer online role-playing game based on its 2007 version. Created by British studio Jagex, RuneScape drops you into a vast fantasy world filled with brilliant quests, fearsome bosses, and endless areas to explore. This is the sort of game you lose days, not hours, to. 16 Old School RuneScape is one of the biggest games on mobile, and can easily provide hundreds of hours of gameplay Credit: Jagex 16 The whimsical medieval MMORPG gives players plenty of freedom in terms of gameplay style Credit: Jagex It's one of the greatest games ever created and remains wildly popular to this day – so it's a miracle that you can enjoy it on a smartphone. The game receives regular updates with new content, and has a large online community to play with, so every game session feels different. RuneScape's very large base game is free, but you can upgrade it with a monthly membership to unlock an absolutely enormous selection of new zones, quests, and more if you prefer. My only warning: this game is so good, you might find it difficult to put down. 16 There's also a PVP element if you're interested in taking on other players Credit: Jagex Best mobile game #5 – Hearthstone Created by World of Warcraft titans Activision Blizzard, Hearthstone is a beautiful and brilliant online card game. You collect virtual trading cards to build decks that you can then use to battle against the computer or other players. And all of the cards are themed around the Warcraft universe, featuring iconic characters and spells from the smash-hit fantasy game. Hearthstone is very simple to pick up but progresses to very high-level strategy if that's your interest. 16 Hearthstone is a trading card game in virtual form Credit: Activision Blizzard 16 You'll use the cards that you collect to battle against the computer or even other players Credit: Activision Blizzard And you can play on your own, against a pal, or even versus total strangers. Blizzard is constantly releasing new cards and decks for Hearthstone, so it never gets stale. And you don't need to spend a penny on it if you don't want. This is one of the slickest card games out there, and works just as well on a small phone screen as it does on a giant iPad. 16 New cards and decks are constantly being added to the game Credit: Activision Blizzard

Duchess Sophie given cheeky two-word nickname by Royals

The 60-year-old royal has a two-word nickname within The Firm thanks to her tireless work Sophie, Duchess of Edinburgh's two-word nickname, has been unveiled, as she is predicted to take on a prominent role within the Royal Family. The wife of Prince Edward for over 26 years, Sophie has dedicated much of her royal life to charitable work, particularly focusing on women's rights. However, her efforts have often gone unnoticed, with minimal public recognition of her extensive contributions. Veteran photographer Arthur Edwards, who has documented royal events for nearly fifty years, shared on The Sun's Royal podcast that while Sophie is "a joy to photograph," her work rarely makes headlines. However, given the King's recent health struggles and Prince William's children being too young to undertake the rigorous demands of royal duties, some experts believe that Sophie and Edward could offer valuable support to the Prince and Princess of Wales. ‌ The Sun 's royal editor Matt Wilkinson highlighted how Sophie has always been referred to as the royals' "secret weapon," pondering: "I'm just wondering whether the kind of House of Edinburgh could replace the House of Sussex at some stage." ‌ ITV royal correspondent Chris Ship agreed, suggesting: "I think they could be an additional resource for Buckingham Palace." Chris further noted that while the Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh aren't exactly "spring chickens," they provide a sense of continuity, as they represent a generation "in between William and Kate and the King and Queen." Royal photographer Arthur Edwards has suggested that Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie could also provide much-needed support to the royal family's 'reserves bench' by taking on more official duties. Arthur has expressed his puzzlement over the lack of media attention towards the Edinburghs, despite their efforts. He pointed out: "For some reason, newspapers and TV don't publish [the photos], they don't run the stories. They don't go to India when she goes to India, they don't go to Mali and these places where she goes. It just seems that all the good work she does goes unreported." Chris highlighted that the Palace's communication strategy might be impeding Sophie's visibility, mentioning: "Often, they don't tell us in advance where she's going and only tell us when she's already got there – which doesn't help when you've got to dispatch cameras halfway around the world." ‌ Although Sophie and Edward's children, Lady Louise Mountbatten-Windsor, 21, and her brother James, Earl of Wessex, 17, have not expressed a wish to undertake full-time royal roles, Lady Louise has caught the eye of royal enthusiasts as a possible invaluable addition to the family. At 60 years old, Sophie continues to energetically support numerous causes, serving as patron for more than 70 charitable entities, including Childline and the London College of Fashion. The Duchess of Edinburgh is typically involved in over 200 engagements annually, spanning schools, universities, and military establishments. Indeed, with Harry and Meghan having stepped back, and both His Majesty the King and the Princess of Wales needing to pay extra attention to their health, there's a pressing need to bolster the royal family's front line — and this could be Sophie's moment in the spotlight.

Cruz Beckham makes yet another dig at Brooklyn amid family fall-out

Cruz Beckham has seemingly made another dig at his brother Brooklyn Beckham amid a family feud between Brooklyn and Nicola and his parents David and Victoria Beckham Cruz Beckham has appeared to make another dig at the family feud surrounding his brother, Brooklyn Beckham. Brooklyn and his wife Nicola Peltz have fallen out with his parents, David and Victoria Beckham. Taking to social media today, Cruz shared a snap of himself on the guitar as he captioned the post: "Say what you want, I'm happy," a seemingly savage remark amid reports of the family feud rumbling on. ‌ Sources had previously claimed his parents were worried Brooklyn was "trapped" in Los Angeles. An insider said there were hopes that his living in America wouldn't be "permanent", but "this house purchase quashes any last hopes." ‌ Another source told The Mirror: "This house has nothing to do with family dynamics. Both Nicola and Brooklyn's careers are based in Los Angeles, and Brooklyn spent part of his childhood there while his father played for LA Galaxy. "During that time, he attended school in LA for several years and built a life and friendships in the city. LA has always felt like home to him." The Sun has since reported that Nicola owns the majority of the house, with a source claiming: "When it came to buying this house, of course they weren't just going to hand their son millions of pounds — what sort of message does that send?" Speaking to The Mirror, a source close to Brooklyn has slammed the thought. A source told us: "It's disappointing - and frankly absurd - that anyone would try to twist Nicola and Brooklyn's marriage, and this meaningful milestone of home ownership, into something toxic. "Their relationship is grounded in love, respect, and commitment. The suggestion that Brooklyn is 'trapped' isn't just false—it's a deliberately cruel and baseless narrative aimed at undermining a strong, loving marriage." ‌ There has been tension in the family for some while but no one thought it would become so "toxic". "The whole family is devastated by the current situation. The tension had been there for a while but no-one thought in a million years that it would turn this toxic," one insider said of the 'feud' between the two pairs, "Victoria can't fathom why Brooklyn hasn't been in touch to apologise. She's furious with him, but also heartbroken." To mark the recent Father's Day, David shared a photo of him and Brooklyn, writing alongside it: "Love you @brooklynpeltzbeckham." Cruz meanwhile had posted a snap of him and his dad on holiday, writing: "Happy Father's Day I love you." And Romeo wrote that he "loves his dad so much" whilst sharing a string of pictures of them together.
